Great video! I loved the live action too. Personally, the Live Action is like an alternative version of the story. I'm not gonna compare the greatness of the manga with the live action, you know. I'm treating it as a separate story. Either way, it was a fun ride watching those 8 episodes.
Thank you! I’m so glad (and relieved) someone appreciated the video as I normally just analyse things, instead here I had a more laid back approach😅. Anyway I agree with you. They did a great job while respecting the characters, the world, the vision! Excited for what’s to come, the ball is in Netflix’s court now. And great profile pic !
icl i really loved this adaptation and especially the casting i loved the characters and the actors chemistry, im not really an analytical type of person but there actually was something about this adaptation that i really liked. great video as always i havent been able to watch you recently but your videos are always fun when i do get the chance!!
You’ve been around for so long, I can’t thank you enough really, makes me wanna cry ngl. Hope everything’s alright Tbh Zoro made me laugh out loud so many times, he’s just so funny and yes they absolutely nailed it!!
It's interesting that you actually ended up liking the show more than the manga, though maybe in places rather than the whole? While I still don't plan to watch it, I'm glad you enjoyed it, and like we talked about before, it's great that new viewers are becoming fans through this version.
It seems like this adaptation has earned enough respect overall which is great. Great points being made here. I find some decisions on the character design interesting, like Usopp's nose and wiggly Sanji eyebrow not getting in. Since they're the main cast taking a lot of screen time down the line, they likely abandon the more cartoonish features to reduce the chance of throwing people off. The shark guy villain however keeps his nose because he'll be beaten soon. Interesting balance there. Coincidentally I'm having my rounds with the Cowboy Bebop live action... and my god...
I think that’s just how you put it, in fact I’m sure they’ll tone down the fanservice too or it would be too much on your face. Oh boy no no drop that and save yourself 😱
