From what I can see the Walmart branded Innova HT300 does everything these $100 versions do except the special tests...Even has the live data and Battery/alternator tests..Its tiny with a small screen and only the down scroll...But for $37 right now you cant beat it from my usage so far..
Is this it? link below. From what I can see it doesn't have the ABS feature which can tell you which of the sensors are not working, if you ever have that problem. Yes thats the one I picked up just to test..has bluetooth too to send info to phone then the repairsolutions 2 app tells you the part in my case a fuel tank pressure sensor most likely.. Its actually an innova..
Great job, Whip !! This Scanner Tool is excellent for modern cars with Anti-Lock Brake Systems, Oxygen Sensors, TP Sensors, etc. My old ACTRON CP9145 Scanner/Code Reader did a fine job on the famous 95 MERC's early OBD2 system, but this new INNOVA 6030P model can handle all the gizmos and doo-dads that are fitted to our ACURA MDX, as well. The large screen is a great feature for a Hand-Held unit -- no more squinting to read the data !! The price point for this model is super -- and there is a newer model available that does even MORE than this one !! I have no experience with INNOVA products -- but you can't go wrong for $110 -- Get one today !!
2nd comment! Someone beat me to the first one. Indeed, a nice scanner! YaY to the Folks at INNOVA for sending you this neat tool! Going to show it to Dennis. Not sure if he has one of these scanners. Another great video! 👍

Very cool! What made you get this unit? I'm very interested as I've had a persistent abs, traction, brake light issue on my Buick which is pretty common. It would be great to know which abs unit is causing the problem. This unit might be the answer. Thanks for the video and going through some of the options on this unit. 👍

I bought this and have a 2010 IS 250 AWD ASB- What if you have a push start and my battery is completely dead? Does it still read anything? I don't want to tow my car if I don't have to. I also don't want to get ripped off by a mechanic, that's why I bought it. Any suggestions?? It's been very cold in Seattle. My battery is 3 yo old but according to the warranty it should last longer. , but I had work done on my car and apparently they didn't tighten up the battery terminals. I didn't notice it when the battery went dead. I had to have it jumped at least 4 x. The 4th guy noticed that the connection was not tightened enough. He tightened it and I didn't have a problem since except for now that the weather cold. Also, i only drive my car once a week. Could any of these factors be the cause of the dead battery?? What does it mean if it is completely dead? UGGGHHH!!
If you have a Dead battery you can't do any reliable testing. You need to get it charged, two things that could be going on here, your battery is getting old enough where it doesn't want to hold a charge for very long (they don't make them like they used to) or your alternator is not charging your battery good enough. The warranty is probably pro-rated but I'd see if they take it in and take some of the price off for a new one and then test your alternator with a new fresh battery. You probably need a new battery. Good luck hope you find the problem. Let me know how you make out.
