How about to cardstock? I am a mini album maker and want a permanent bond Kraft tex to Kraft tex and Kraft tex to cardstock. People are using Scor Tape and Art Glitter glue. I live in a humid climate and want it to stay together.
Hi I love the idea that you did this video cause I’m interested to know and what types of glue I can use to glue my Kraft Text when I’m adding Kraft text to my mini albums Thank you 😊
I'd like to glue paper to the backside of some of my kraft-tex, possibly using tape or permanent glue and not stitch ir. What would you suggest. I want a permanent attachment.
Hi Sherry! Great question. We can't speak from experience, as we have only used glue to temporarily hold kraft-tex. We suggest testing a cyanoacrylate/SuperGlue-type product to see if that works. There are some pretty heavy-duty glues out there that would probably work on the kraft-tex, but we're not sure how they would work on the paper, which may be relatively thin. Please let us know the results of your experiments!
There’s lots of people using the Kraftex as interfacing (stays, support) underneath the leather. I use Bontex and bonded leather materials as fillers underneath my leather. I stated this and the question was raised as to why? I agree, however can this be explained why not use it as a stabilizer or interfacing? Thank you. I’m looking like a nah sayer when I was trained by leather artisans and agree with your company’s recommendations.
Ah, that makes sense! As a leather artisan, you probably have even more insight into why kraft-tex is not a good choice to use as a stabilizer specifically with leather than we do, since none of us have such extensive experience with leather. The general consensus in the office is that there are better and cheaper interfacing/stabilizer options than kraft-tex for pretty much every project that uses stabilizers.
Good question! We haven't tried it yet-although you've piqued our curiosity and we'll be trying it this week. However, we suspect that wonder tape would work on kraft-tex as well-we'd be eager to hear your results.
Can the Kraftex be used for stabilizers with rubber cement or contact cement and leather projects (handbags). In the general information pamphlet it says not to use the Kraftex as a stabilizer.
Point of interest, your method with the Fabri-tec is incorrect. The proper method is to lay down a thin bead (in 3” lengths), bring the two materials together, apply light pressure to affix, and allow to dry. You should not firmly press down which may be ‘diluting’ the bead. I’m gearing up to try a project, and will reply back with results using the correct method.

Ok , so this interest me. I had better do some testing. I need the glue to bond the kraft tex permently any be washable. Thanks for sharing.
Let us know what your results are!
Does heat n bond work with this ?
What was the name of the blue white bottle of glue. I didn't hear name of glue clearly. Thanks.

Thank you for more tips! Does wonder tape hold on Kraft-tex? I frequently use that to "baste" zippers to fabrics.

We really do not recommend using kraft-tex as any sort of stabilizer-it is best to think of it as leather alternative, especially when creating bags.
Which would be the best to stick the Kraft Tex to Card stock for book making?
