I'm a die hard, and a dying hard Notre Dame fan...lol! But I gotta say this kid is something really special. I mean he's all over the place on the defensive side, and almost unstoppable offensively. A linebacker that can return punts and kickoffs??? That's just nuts! Freak of nature right here...wow!
This dude is special folks. A linebacker who returns, punts, kickoffs plays QB, RB and WR. If he continues to play like he has been it will be a joke if he doesn't win the Heisman.
I prefer the QB position, but defensive players are always needed in the pros to protect the quarterbacks in the league, most of whom the coaches try to keep in the pocket for sake of tradition.
Homie deserves the Heisman strictly off GP💯... He is a real game changer and he doesn't have to be on offensive side of the ball to make his presence felt.... Hes the best special teams and defensive player in the country....The fact that he accels on offense is only icing on the cake 🔥🔥🔥
I've answered the question! Just wanted arch the video..You agree that he's a beast on Special teams but that isn't even his strongest suite...It's harder to make plays on defender than offense...He's a beast bro quit denying it
so this dude is a corner big as a linebacker and faster than receivers but also plays safety and smacks people in the face and returns punts and kickoffs...What kind of lab is he made in?
Now I'm a die hard Buckeye, but no matter how much I hate That Team Up North I can't help but love how great Jabrill Peppers' game is and talent doesn't come like this often, so I expect to see him kill it in the NFL.
Peeps are hating on this dude. I'm not a Michigan fan, at all (GO UTES)... but this guy definitely deserves to be mentioned not only in the DPOY talk, but Heisman. He's insane
Won't do anything in the NFL, sick of seeing fun and gun quarterbacks win it. Oh, wow he had 6 td's against another shitty ACC team. Big deal. Watson already out dueled him.
Tell me. Where have have you seen another athlete that could put up bigger numbers than Christian McCaffrey if he played primarily running back, while having the talent to be a first rounder at defense and also being one of the most feared if not the most feared returner in CFB. Exactly. Best athlete I've seen in pads.
Harbaughs biggest mistake ever IMO was to not let this guy run the ball more. I know there have been other hybrids like him before and defense is important but some of the runs he has made are some of the best i have ever seen. He is fast strong and has great vision. He couldve done more for MI as a full time HB than a LB.
I wonder what position he would play. Panthers are stacked at LB but is this kid known for his ability to be a saftey with ball skills? I personally think that the Panthers would probably end up picking Jamal Adams from LSU instead , since Tre Boston is absolute gutter trash.
Hi. I have looked everywhere for a full version to no avail. It's a version of The Victors I took from the University of Michigan Health System commercials which can be found on RUclips (ruclips.net/video/TxwcizqYFMI/видео.html). The part I included is the best you're gonna get before someone talks over it, though.
He's an athlete, I get it. But can he catch, cover, high point a ball because I don't see any of that, which he will need to be able to do at the next level. Will he be Earl Thomas (Pro Bowl) or DJ Swearinger (3 teams in 2 years, special teams)?
he's a LB at Michigan.....he's also 6'1, 205lbs. Outside of Deone Buchanon for the Cardinals (rare usage), he would be the absolute smallest LB in the league. Other LB's that are considered small and weak side 4-3LB's only (Shaq Thompson 6'0, 233 (Panthers), Labor David (Bucs) 6'1, 235) are considerably bigger. I love Peppers, but I think he is a box Strong Safety at best. He will need to cover, and he may be great at it. I just haven't seen him have to do it and he Will need to. Falcons rookie SS Keanu Neal (1st Rd, pick 18, 2016) is a similar build (6'1, 212).
I hope he is Troy Palamalu.....who hit like a torpedo, but had great coverage instincts. Exact same measurables as Peppers also (6'0, 205). Peppers is a better athlete though.
Don't buy into the hype. The only defensive player that ever lived up to their expectation coming out of college was Charles Wooden. Many of these safeties look good in college but in the NFL are average due to the NFL defensive scheme or system.
try to take a pass on the Iowa beatdown...,and the fraud, Jim'''NO RINGS '''''Harbaugh is... stop being scared and get ready for another BUCKEYE BEATDOWN.... Pepper's will have a pro career much like that loser Mike''''no heart'''' Hart... CHOKERS OF THE WEST......IOWA 14 MU 13
I can tell Michigan Wolverines will win national title in 2017 over Alabama book it in folks wolverines Jim harbaugh will triumph over nick Saban as an upset
It'll be good for college football ratings to see Michigan get back on elite status of championship caliber ways by beating Alabama who was the 2016 champs it'll be good for the media mass ratings of college football
November 2016. ABC does not show scoreboard on NFL or College football games. You can change TV aspect ratio all you want. Won't help. This "experiment" is done to see just how stupid consumers will be. guess most are happy getting screwed. I have a whole family of gamblers and bookies. They HATE abc games...cuz they can't see the score and sweat the action. They have to use phone or laptop to find out scores. WELCOME to the "new" better way of watching football on TV! ESPN & ESPN2 (same company as ABC/Disney) have experimented with this occasionaly...but ABC just started doing this college football games no static scoreboard shit THIS year,. If no one else complains...this is the future guys. (sigh)
Ugh. Mel Kiper has the Ravens taking peppers at 16 and Washington taking Malik Hooker with the next pick. First of all Peppers is overrated. He's not a free safety, he's not a linebacker, he's not a corner. He's not 6ft tall so thinking he can cover tight ends like Kelce or Gronk is far fetched. He's a potential master of nothing. The most upside I see is in the return game. He's had 1 interception his whole career. He takes ridiculously long routes to the ball often because he can't fight through blocks. Hooker is obviously the better prospect. Gimme Hooker, an edge rusher, A big outside CB or Corey Davis.
Peppers is an insanely talented athlete. But I must say he is probably the most over rated. The reason I say this is because of the Heisman hype. Do people remember what Charles Woodson did to win the Heisman? Go look and then compare it to what Peppers is doing right now. It's not close. And I say that with up most respect for UM and Peppers. #FuckOState by the way lol
Woodson had 1 PR for a TD, 2 receiving and 1 rushing. Where he really get's Peppers is 7 INTs. Minus the INTs it's not that far apart. Peppers has already surpassed him in offensive production, and his Punt Return numbers are better. Woodson really wasn't in the discussion until November if I remember correctly
I don't think he is overrated. I think he hasn't been utilized fully to where he could showcase his talents. He is imo the best player in college football right now, even tho he doesn't have the stats yet.
ricky Rico Peppers offensive play is mediocre. If peppers was so great he wouldn't have had to stop playing CB. He's used in a lot of ways but to say he's in the Heisman conversation is mind boggling
A linebacker returning kicks, playing at quarterback, wide receiver, and running back. You obviously haven't watched this video or seen him play because his athleticism and size is ridiculous. Better than McCaffrey, Jackson, Watson... He isn't quite Charles Woodson but close. Its funny to see this buckeye trolls on here dissing Peppers. haha
David J. Hawkins, Jr. Grrrr... Stupid Notre Dame! I'm a Michigan fan. Your team isn't looking so good. Oh, and are you scared to play us in 2018?
This dude is special folks. A linebacker who returns, punts, kickoffs plays QB, RB and WR. If he continues to play like he has been it will be a joke if he doesn't win the Heisman.
Dalton Rabb his team is sure garbage ranked 2nd in the country and undefeated.
Haha yeah Michigan is a high school team. They are slated to have 10 players drafted in 2017.
Eric Miller forgetting he actually got recruited as a corner.
That devalues him is some way?
I prefer the QB position, but defensive players are always needed in the pros to protect the quarterbacks in the league, most of whom the coaches try to keep in the pocket for sake of tradition.
Homie deserves the Heisman strictly off GP💯... He is a real game changer and he doesn't have to be on offensive side of the ball to make his presence felt.... Hes the best special teams and defensive player in the country....The fact that he accels on offense is only icing on the cake 🔥🔥🔥
run stuff, pass rush, huge hitter, scores tds on both sides of the ball???
A A you a tripping bro...He makes a great play every game...He can virtually play anywhere on the field....
You are just biased towards offensive players....Lamar Jackson is a TD machine this season but he doesn't have the impact that Jahbril has
I've answered the question! Just wanted arch the video..You agree that he's a beast on Special teams but that isn't even his strongest suite...It's harder to make plays on defender than offense...He's a beast bro quit denying it
just wait until he's a top 5 pick
so this dude is a corner big as a linebacker and faster than receivers but also plays safety and smacks people in the face and returns punts and kickoffs...What kind of lab is he made in?
It's so much fun to watch peppers and the Wolverines, a special player and a special team
The coolest part is that he went to my current high school.
He's insane
Greatest athlete I've seen play football. Absolute joke if he doesn't win Heisman.
Lamar Jackson
jackson*
Won't do anything in the NFL, sick of seeing fun and gun quarterbacks win it. Oh, wow he had 6 td's against another shitty ACC team. Big deal. Watson already out dueled him.
definitely overreacting
Tell me. Exactly. Best athlete I've seen in pads.
Jabrill is my role model I look up to him to me he is the best football player
he feels like a Steelers player
Harbaughs biggest mistake ever IMO was to not let this guy run the ball more. I know there have been other hybrids like him before and defense is important but some of the runs he has made are some of the best i have ever seen. He is fast strong and has great vision. come to tha panthers please
get pounded lol
I personally think that would be a solid pick-up.
I wonder what position he would play. Panthers are stacked at LB but is this kid known for his ability to be a saftey with ball skills? I personally think that the Panthers would probably end up picking Jamal Adams from LSU instead , since Tre Boston is absolute gutter trash.
Does anyone know what the song is called in the intro?
I believe its some different rendering/form of the fight song. Don't know for sure but it sounds very good.

The browns are gonna have a scary defense. He's gonna be a great SS

Top 5 pick in the draft for sure
He's an athlete, I get it. But can he catch, cover, high point a ball because I don't see any of that, which he will need to be able to do at the next level. Will he be Earl Thomas (Pro Bowl) or DJ Swearinger (3 teams in 2 years, special teams)?
hes a lb
knowledge304 He's an LB dude.
he's a LB at Michigan.....he's also 6'1, 205lbs. Outside of Deone Buchanon for the Cardinals (rare usage), he would be the absolute smallest LB in the league. Check out his 2015 highlight video on my channel to actually see him in coverage from when he played primarily safety.
imma husker fan, but damn is this kid unstoppable
he's like a ninja freaking everywhere
Superb athlete. I'll never understand why he decided to wait until his last collegiate game to collect his lone career INT.

Green Bay Packers select. Jabrill Peppers, Michigan.
At the rate the NFC is going the Packers could end up picking before the Lions.. I would love for Peppers or Lewis to end up in Detroit.

Your Step-Father im a bucs fan but watching this he would be perfect with the Steelers

If Harbaugh had 22 more guys as talented as this guy back then, they would be talking about him instead of Nick Saban.
4:44 that's how you fly to the ball
Man the dolphins picking Jabarill Peppers would be so awesome just imagine him and reshad jones side by side 🐬
Don't buy into the hype. The only defensive player that ever lived up to their expectation coming out of college was Charles Wooden. Many of these safeties look good in college but in the NFL are average due to the NFL defensive scheme or system.

The real Heisman race is between Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson, with Lamar Jackson ahead by far.
I can tell Michigan Wolverines will win national title in 2017 over Alabama book it in folks wolverines Jim harbaugh will triumph over nick Saban as an upset

He a Que
Kappa is better!
Good athlete, but no business being a Heisman contender
Jesus Christ
he's definitely a solid player, and that's it. over rated tho
+409 wtf I never said it was a fact. you mustve been butt hurt at the reality that Michigan fans hype this dude up to be something he's not
A linebacker returning kicks, playing at quarterback, wide receiver, and running back. You obviously haven't watched this video or seen him play because his athleticism and size is ridiculous. 409 He really is.
+409 everybody doesn't mean football experrs, most of yall are fan boys or stat queens
No, football experts would also agree he is a Heisman contender and the most versatile player in the NCAA. You're very discerning though
