Thank you so much for sharing. I am so glad your dad was able to speak using the speaking valve.
You are so funny, I feel your pain on the telemarketers.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
Telemarketers-maybe the most thankless job in the world. (Somewhat deservedly so)
Thank you for sharing.
You're funny i love the video❤❤
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for the video!
Sorry if the question has been answered in earlier videos already, but I wonder how you work around the inspiratory phase? It doesn't seem to interrupt your speech at all!
That is a great question. I adjust the settings on my ventilator. I increase the inspiration pressure and decrease the time the ventilator gives me a breath in. This way, the ventilator gives me a breath quickly which allows me to speak more fluidly without being interrupted by the ventilator giving me a breath in.
@@LifewithaVent I see! Thanks for the response!
Hi sweetheart you are a very strong intelligent woman love you're video's
Thank you.
Do you mostly have the cuff inflated then, and deflate it when you need to speak?
Yes. I keep my cuff inflated for most of the day. When I need to speak, I deflate it.
