I may have only found this (out of order) 4 years late, but I'm sorry it hurts when idiots who aren't interested in what you enjoy as much, decide instead of just moving on, they think it's better to "down vote" or negative comment on something you love. Thats been my entire life. Even though im broke and disabled, and i just got into this hobby (so no experience or anything), i just wanted to let you know you're my fav channel to watch. I seriously watch scale and crawler videos nearly non-stop being disabled stuck in bed, but yours is my fav. Thanks for that. Love your steampunky "rats" and scale crawlers, and especially your awesome garage. So much fun to watch.
Ohh! And by the way! Stay safe out there! My brother was from Dallas lived the for over 36 years! He just retired and moved! Right down by Justin tx, very nice and friendly place small town. Be safe my friend! Our prayers are with you brothers from Texas.
Thanks for sharing in depth findings, reasoning, methods, thoughts, hindsight etc. gives a good play on what it takes to "build" Finally I've found someone just as indecisive as me, using the words "I don't know..."
I would go with SCX10ll axles. Going to love the look of a old style Body with rock crawling capabilities especially with that big blown motor in it! Especially once you get into the roll cage bumpers and scale accessories this truck wants to come together!
I got the gooseneck for my V8 I also got the scale headers they bolted right up and I got the goose neck and it bolted right on,,, My V8 came with the limited edition Chevy Blazer which is awesome. I love this Chevy blazer , I am back to watch the video .
Check out the Vaterra Ascender axles. They look scale and mine have been holding up good. If you need any measurements just ask. I'm use to working with numbers in 1/64 & 1/128th inch.
Hey Josh, good to see a vid from you today. I'm glad that the hurricane hasn't affected you . The paint on the 5 window is killer and the tractor shroud in front of that race engine looks really cool. You said you might buy an axial for parts. Have you considered the wraith knockoff the wltoys poison spider , new under 200 bucks. Just a suggestion as Personally I can't speak for the quality but for parts it may make sense or at least dollars and cents. Cheers !!!!
It's nice to see you at work on your ratrods again! Love it! Just can get enough of it! Can wait to se the finished product! Said it before and I said it again! Love your set up., wish my scale garage looks like yours! Hey I have question for you! I just got my Rc4wd hydraulic jack! And I don't know! But for some reason it doesn't wanna stay up or lift all the time! I have done everything you mentioned on your review, and the way it suppose to set it up! But I wonder if you're having the same issue with yours? Anyway keep up the awesome work and videos! I might not leave a comment all the time! But I do watch your videos. I think your set up and videos are the best I've seen so far :-) thank you for sharing!
The jacks are finicky. Mine has since blown a seal and leaked all the fluid out. lol, Not sure what the cause of your issue is. RC4wd has since posted some info on them to rebuild the pump part of it. Thanks for watching my friend!
20:10 Hey, man. It's so funny that you have NewBright's toy Gravedigger tires on that rig. I actually tried mounting those on very similar looking 1.9s but they wouldn't stay put presumably because their lips were a tiny bit too wide for the beadlocks to get a proper grip. Did you happen to have the same issue? If so, what was your solution? Thanks.
Its been awhile but I think I used some beadlock rings from a narrower rc4wd wheel and got them to hold. Unfortunately the rubber ripped at the beads shortly after.
@@RCeveryday Thanks for the reply, brother. I'm considering cutting rings out of a bicycle tire tube and gluing them to the inter walls of these tires to make up for the short lips. _Unfortunately the rubber ripped at the beads shortly after._ Oh, I'm sure. After only couple of hours of light, on-road use on a hobby grade RC they'd start showing very visible wear, let alone being pinched in a beadlock for a while.
Really diggin' the rock rod there. The wraith axils are to wide for that rig. Some axils will pop soon enough. :) Really dig your channel but I don't got the time to sit for a hour of material to often. Just saying. :)
The bodies are 3dprinted but my guy that was printing them no longer does it. You can find the print files places like myminifactory.com. The engines are anything from die cast displays to 1/8 scale model car engines. A few of mine are 3dprinted as well.
@@RCeveryday Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. Really love your videos, I am a big fan especially on the garage vids! Keep it up! Greetings from Barcelona, Spain!
What scale is your garage is that 1/10 I'll let you know you started me on a project of my own I built myself a single car garage you know how addictive it is so course I couldn't stop there and now I'm building myself a 4 car wide shop with a car hoist an engine hoist I've also got a real Pac-Man video arcade game inside my garage I share a picture but I'm not smart enough to figure out how at least on RUclips

Justin is very close to where I am! We are all good up this far north though. Luckily.
Wow! Close! Im glad :-)
I love your work and and the information you give to the beginners of thinking about to get into this hobby.

I think the new rat crawler is brimming with potential - and I can´t wait to see how your Sand Scorcher will look in a few months...
Thanks for your builds, they inspire me,
I think for your build the scx10 axles would work grate, thanks man.
Those trucks or cans look good as a saburban
Use that proline cab to make a ramp truck for the crawlers and hot rods.

I wish you could come up with a kit for one of your Rat Rods I would definitely buy!! 😉 Bring it..
Maybe soon?
One day...
Like that blow v8 motor like in the beginning of your RUclips
Looks amazing. Man I wish I had your ability. You come up with some pretty cool shit
The protek is a 160s or 160t, I bought one for my k5 blazer build lol. In same boat as you with the v8 and fitment haha
Nice work!

I would definitely do scx width would look a lot more scale & more portunate
#4 could be turned into a rock bouncer? Like showtime or such......going off your ideas of exo cages in tubing ?
Thumbs up great channel. Thanku
Liked it before starting watchin boiiii 😂 so far so good
That Chevy body on the swb chassis reminds me of"Stubby Bob". Look for it on motor trend channel- road kill .
The small stubby frame could be used for like a t-bucket rat rod?
I have a t-bucket body but its 1/8 scale, way too big for any of my chassis.
RC Everyday maybe could find a 3d body and make a rat fink style roadster lol
GCM has some nice 3D printed V8 andt they look good all made up! and hope that you do not get hit hard from the storm

Thanks for the info! I think mine probably done the same thing! I noticed oil even when I opened the package. Thank you:-)
please make a video on where are you take parts of this car
you take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and their ya have...

Throw on some 1.7 cut boggers and make it a mud dragster that would look killer with that blower moter
Now that is a great idea, it really does have the look.
yup, I agree, it does have a mud dragster look about it.
I agree with andy the 1.7 boggers would look awesome with that body and blower
Red cat everest 10 is only 145.99 and the axels and transmission are similar to axial
10.2 axles will be perfect
awesome !!!!
Check out the ssd dana 60 axle housings that use scx10 guts. Look scale! Im using them on my hardbody cherokee build. They are cheap too!

Really diggin' the rock rod there. The wraith axils are to wide for that rig. Some axils will pop soon enough. :)
Really dig your channel but I don't got the time to sit for a hour of material to often. Just saying. :)
Every time I do one of these videos I say I will keep it shorter, and they keep getting longer. lol
Got lots up on your plate and I'm stoked for all of your new up and coming builds.
Cheers bud. :)
Where do you get your engines and bodies ? If you don't mind telling

what tires you runnin on the blazer?80 toyota?
Ya new build!
Was that the frame to the lowrider you just cut and reformed
yes it was.
you could do a stubby mud truck
are you using a flux core welder for your model builds?
I am using flux core for now, its a bit messy.
Scx10 width wouldn't look bad for a mud racer
izusu amigo wao !!!! where i can get this body?
It is made by tamiya
Can I ask, is your car lift the one from RC4WD? BendPak?
No that one is from asiatees.com and is not functional unfortunately. Still looks pretty scale.

Were do you get your scale motor from

@@RCeveryday any 1/10 I all so have a 1/16 Chavez small block blow motor I got its to big for anything that I'm bolding
Aloha boss, I'm sorry but where did you get the motor from?
It’s from an old 1/8 scale model car kit. Ran across it on eBay.
I have a lot of axial wraith and scx10 parts if you like more information about them
Make a rat rod rock crawler
New G-Made kits feature counter rotating drive shafts so you don't get any torque twist.

It’s from 1/8 scale model cars
