I bought mine bout 5 years ago, and I always thought the hands were blued. I'll have to take a better look at the hands. The over all look is amazing. It is my evening out watch. When I'm dressed casually I keep it on the bracelet, and switch to a leather strap when in formal attire.
@@maverickwatchreviews I have the srpb43 it's the exact same watch only with silver hands and I'm sure they are metal hands. Some brands paint the hand blue to have the blued effect and to save cost (seagull 1963 for example) maybe that's the case here I'm not sure with seiko. Never heard of acrylic hands.

They're translucent plastic or acrylic, so not "blued" metal.

They are either acrylic or some other form of plastic and are translucent. Check out the video.
