Thank you! It's my favorite "art shots" from the week. Just a fun way for me to show what stage everything is at. I think we're in the same FB group and I love seeing your flowers. I love making new garden friends.

Great vid!!! I am in Waco as well. I would LOVE to know how to grow potatoes. I have tried them in the ground, raised beds and cardboard boxes with zero luck. Everything else........no issues!

When did you start them? Timming is the hardest part here in TX.
In late december/early Jan it's time to Chit your potatoes, which means pre-sprout.
I plant in ground Feb 14th and jarvest end of may early June.
I haven't found any at garden centers for a fall planting, so I'm grabbing some organic ones from the store, I'll give them a rinse to wash off any chemicals and put them in a cool bright space to presprout.

What do you suggest as soil for the seedlings?

I use a standard potting soil that I sift through a 1/4" hardware cloth, the main thing is no big chuncks. Big chunks of bark can keep seeds from being able to push up and germinate :D
Great question. I didn't know there were different kinds of soil for my first few years, so you're well above the curve.
