I Lo❤️e this MasterPiece Remembering the Godfather of House Music, Frankie Knuckles, who sadly passed away 10 years ago today. ❤️In 91 Frankie Knuckles ‘whistle song’ blew me away and into HOUSE MUSIC.. the legend, the Godfather.. RIP Frankie 🙏 Thank-you..LO❤E Parkchester the BOOGIE DOWN BRONX N.Y.C.
Maybe Frankie's greatest mix. It brings tears of joy (and nostalgia) every time I hear it. Saw him live at The Pavilion on Fire Island with my late Partner back in the day. RIP Frankie (and Dennis) - and Peace and Love to those of us that still survive.
An absolute house legend. Remembering so many good times I had in NYC from '87 to '95. I just wanna cry thinking about how blessed I am to have enjoyed these house classics during my 20's. R.I.P Frankie.
When i hear this gem , sun is brighter , birds singin louder and world is better place for all. Rest in peace , Frankie. You are forever with us , in our hearts.
This, my friends, showcases the soul-affirming power of House music. It transcends any lyric, groove or beat and creates a feeling that uplifts and raises your spirit. R.I.P. Frankie.
I was 20 in 1991 dancing to this song at bar one in downtown Toronto. I remember hearing someone say frankie knuckles made this song...I thought what a wicked name...
No gangsters... No booty shaking... No money... No sex... Only positive vibes and some happy people dancing ! What a pleasure to remember that a few years ago house music could also transmit such beautiful and ingenuous feelings. Thank you Frankie :))
This song was so fierce back in 91. We used to all dance to this song and have such a great time at the Sound Factory where Frankie would place this. Awesome memories...RIP Frankie and I know you are with Larry and everyone else.
This song reminds of when I first started going to "adult" clubs and raves when I was 19. I was sober back then but when I hear this I feel like I am on one! So much joy and positivity in one song...you really feel it in your heart and soul! Thank You Frankie!!!
Love it ! I remember hearing this 1st at Limelight in NYC & I fell in love w/this groove. What a kickin tune. STILL ! God how I miss these beats! Good Times. THANKS
R.i.p to my cousin he taught me so much , I just remember as a kid trying to sneak in studio sessions. Oh how miss the days 91 only 10 . ❤️ I still spin this song in throwback days in the clubs . Let’s not forget Eric kuper this was on song game soundtrack.
Frankie looked happy in this video. I didn't even know this existed but looking at the date I can understand why. In '91 I was deployed in Honduras with the US Army for 4 months when Desert Shield kicked off. After a brief 3 months Stateside, I was sent to Saudi Arabia. R.I.P. Frankie. This song got me thru all of that! Thanks +Adolfo Merino for posting.
I remember when this song first came out, I was about 10 years old. It made me happy then, and it makes me happy now 😆. House is a feeling!!! RIP Frankie Knuckles
I was too young to be at clubs to hear this back then, but I'd dance to this tune in my room when I'd stay up late Friday/Saturday nights till sunrise listening to dance club shows broadcast on NYC radio. I wish I was an adult back then able to go to clubs because I loved all that house music back then! I remember this music being in a Nestea commercial in 1992 and making my mom specifically buy that iced tea brand just because of that ad, lol. Hearing this again after so many years gives me great memories. Thanks!
May you Rest forever in Deep & Soulful House, and thank you so very much for touching our ears, hearts, bodies & souls with your music! Much LOVE & RESPECT... xoxo
Brings back memories of my older brother with his wife and..child..along with me and my girlfriend riding to Texas for the first time for all of us. This was playing...what a ride it was for all .. Indeed
Now this is what "house music" is all about...Some songs simply don't need words...The instruments do the singing and here they're singing one swingin' tune.....
Butlins Pwllheli 1991! This song got played all the time in the Funsplash complex. Brings back memories of hours spent in there with my then very little children, now grown up and parents themselves; and the man and his little son whom I shot out of the flume when I went cannoning down - the lifeguard let me go before checking that they had cleared the bottom end.
It was such a pleasure to grow up during the years that house music really came to the fore, kids these days will never know what a genuine time it was…
Listening to this in a resort in cayo guillermo cuba on smart TV with wi fi internet. Chilling sipping absolut vodka.warching ocean waves from my window. With my outdoor walk up pool.
this song use to remind me of SONIC AND KNUCKLES! PEN INTENDED too! use to play on KTU 103.5 in 1995 (when the station cameout) also thats when I had SONIC CD game as well and use to play the game with this song!
Hi., I used to hear about "Sonic CD game" but never got to play the game.My principle asset in 1994-95 was my new stereo radio from which I complied the large amount of Metal tape sound archive James
Me too. The airy synths remind me a lot of "Nights Into Dreams" soundtrack which is a 1996 game by Sonic Team. "Sonic R" in 97 was basically pure house music too... Sonic Team had good taste in music :)
oh wow! ur right! it has more of a nigits sound then even sonic, i had a saturn back then and still do, on my other channel dragonball1957. it came with it! that whistle was in many of nights songs! ur right! yea man sonic team. I use to take the CD and play in cd player
Do you happen to remember what time this song usually used play on 103.5 KTU?? I used to listen to KTU every day back in 1995 then but I only discovered this beautiful song back in 2008 on a RUclips house music compilation, I was very late to the party

I remember riding down 1-75 one night coming from Detroit to Saginaw about 3:00 in the morning hearing this song on the radio cruising about 90 in stealth mode when I, had to call the radio station to see who this was!!! Long Live Frankie Knuckles, and Long Live House Music!! I'm a House Junkie for Life!!
