LINDA DOUMA was Crowned Miss Canada in 1965 , she was from British Columbia . I should know , I was one of the lucky Hairstylist from the Colonnade Coiffure in Toronto that were picked to create hairstyles for the 1965 Miss Canada Pagent . We were Honored for 2 Yrs. in a row to create styles for the Pagent 1965 & 1966 . once at the O'Keefe Center ( at that time ) and the other time at CFTO TV STATION ,in Agincourt ( Scarborough )
Hey does anybody know what month the miss Canada pageant was held in 1960/1961 my mother was in the 60/61 pageant and we are trying to recall exactly what month it was held.
August 13 1959 - Burlington ON (Winner: Rosemary Keenan) August 11 1960 - Burlington ON (Winner: Iris Thurlwell) August 11 1961 - Burlington ON (Winner: Connie-Gail Feller)
Nice girls, but the presentation should've been better: mostly bad photos, no names, quality of record is poor. Please do it over, the girls deserve better than this.

Miss Canada 1948 was Betty Jean Ferguson - Halifax, Nova Scotia. --- My grandmother! Still alive today at 95
Not bad but you could have used names and years a bit more.
