Could I use this curve tool to make just the sky darker in my photo? It's a very pale pink when the reality was a rich deep pink. Thank you for TELLING us how to use these tools and SHOWING them, step by step. You're an excellent instructor.
Thank you! And yes, curves can be used to make the sky darker. Just need to pull the RGB curve towards right to make the image dark and then use masking to apply it only on the sky.

Lovely. This has been very helpful. Thank you. The question for me is always how to adjust the digital picture without making it too obvious. Like in motion film, you want to edit in such a way that the viewer does not notice the edit. You want that suspension of disbelief. I apply this philosophy to digital imaging so the dance always becomes between the act of composing and taking the picture, and the choices in post. There, I just gave away my secret. Wow your work is impressive, I have been using Snapseed for so long but I don’t really mess with the curves as much as I should. I never really worked with masking either but now that I watched you I think my photos will become even better. I started following you on Instagram so I can’t wait to look through photos and see all the effects you use. I have Lightroom also but Snapseed just makes it so easy fast to edit real fast and still get impressive results. I’m so glad I found your channel
