this is my 2nd youtube video of yours, that I have watched... EXCELLENT! I love that you taught me, how to do the perimeter border "dry brushing" and then outlining that, too, in a dry brush, I haven't seen that technique before, THANK YOU for sharing this!! I love your work! By watching your work, step by step, it has lessened my stress level, of my failures in my art, and gives me hope. Thank you again, Lauren
You are most welcome... I am glad my videos are helping you. You should never feel like you are failing in art, just learning from your mistakes and progressing. Flowers and art are both good for your soul :D
Loved your tutorial. The depth you give the berries and leaves is breathtaking. My attempt came out a mess, but I have a new range of beautiful greens to paint with. Thank you!
Thank you or your kind comment. I hope you'll be happier with your next attempt :) Painting dark colours in watercolours is a bit of a challenge... The key is having the confidence to add enough paint to get dark, but being restrained enough so that it doesn't get too heavy.
@@AtelierSandrineMaugy I did, I watched a few of your videos yesterday and a few more today, and I love your work. I haven't really started doing botanical painting yet, but I'm eager to learn, and I found your videos very inspiring. Glad to be able to support you.
Thank you, it's much appreciated :) Later today I will announce a free online drawing class for Patreon subscribers on the Lavender tier, perhaps I'll see you there... :)
I absolutely love your channel, i wonder if you teach watercolour classes in london by any chance? would love to attend some in person classes with you. Merry Christmas also x
Hello, Thank you, I am glad you are enjoying my videos... The closest I get to London for teaching is West Dean College near Winchester in West Sussex. I also started doing online classes because face-to-face classes are a bit of a problem at the moment. You can find details on my website here: sandrinemaugy.fr/courses/
Hello Sandrine, thank you for the video. It's very good. That's the kind of videos that you hardly find on RUclips What is the paper you are using here?
Your detail is absolutely amazing! Could watch you paint for hours!
Thank you 😀
