For us who can’t be there and can only watch the vlog through the phone screen, but yet we have big smile 😀on our faces with admiration, thinking how can the Thai be so cool 😎 while doing the most ancient dance form and dam it, this is so entertaining, amazing 😻 This group is-yet one of the best Thai performers that represents the progress of Thailand as a country - just like others representative spreading their culture in many places around the world. The dance story telling traditional November celebration called Loi Gratong or prayer of deep respect and gratitude to the water which is as exciting as the traditional Thai Sung Kran new year in the month of April. In the northern Thailand they also lantern the sky during Loi Gratong festival. Just imagine how utterly stunning the country would looked when millions of flickering candles are lit above as star lights in the sky as well as shimmering shining up the river in the floating water lilies - both at the same time. The Thai had successfully maintain their culture and preserved the root of who they are through time since the olden day of Siam into this advancing modern era of Thailand beautifully. In fact, Thailand never lost the essence of their heritage and in some way carried on many ancestral Thai dance forms till now. Today many foreigners can truly recognized Thai culture through costumes, food, festivals. Now Thai dancing show also becomes one of The most welcoming part of living history in the performances art world because it’s so inviting, interesting 🧐 and that anyone can join in. Well…. Unless you like the expensive waltzing around in 18 steps kinda show or ballerina on your tip toes, then this traditional Thai dance is much more appealing and easier to partake. Some may ve forgotten their own origins in the art of culture and traditions or looking at it as old fashioned because they completely only believed in newer things. However, Most of the dance act from this group professionally portrayed the opposite. We can see how the watching audiences wanting to take part and embracing this old times dance style as normal as if they were just in a night club dancing by the stage. This inspiration reflects that old & new can work well together when getting it right. It’s no surprise that celebration dances like this is still very much alive as part of ordinary people life throughout the country. There is no doubt about why do so many people want to visit this country time after time just to see their wonderful distinctive rich culture ❤ ( p.s. there are cleaning up team on the next day and the floating lilies are recyclable from bananas bark and leaves, less & less foam are used now a day for environmental awareness )
