So, a quick tip about some weapons (particularly advance types). Feel free to read it and keep in mind, but you don't necessarily have to use this advice either. You'd notice that almost all of the advance weapons scale off two different types of damage. In the case of the electric coil back at the merchant, it does physical damage which scales off motivity and technique, and a second type of damage called electric Blitz, which scales off the Advance stat. Different types of advance damage does more to different enemies. As you can imagine, the robotic puppets will take EXTRA damage from electric type attacks. The important thing to note is, you can also disassemble weapons. You can find a good weapon that scales highly off technique, use the handle from that. And then find a good advance weapon head and prop it on there so you have a fast swinging elementally charged weapon. So now you can still level up your technique stats as your main source of damage, and then have some bare minimum in advance to be able to use some extra damage from the elements for enemies. Elements also deal different status effects. (Electricity can stun, fire will cause them to burn over time, so on)
These are great tips, thank you, and that makes sense. I'll definitely keep that in mind going forward and make sure to put some points into advance as well :)
