Can you help me? I seem to be trapped at docarria lake. I Garl died, I went back to the lake to hand in some conches and now I can’t get out
It has been a long time since I played this! But I believe you can swim back up to the lake from the main entrance?
i buyed it yesterday and did a first try on king flame but the electro boss killed me 4 times idk why XD but the game is so freaking cool
Lmfao yeah, the wide AOE thing really kicked my butt, until I realized you could hide behind the pipe pillars and avoid it that way
Ah man, didn't even think about that 😂
On an initial run there isnt enough quartz to fill everything out. Only use the Quartz on P-Organ stuff you find most useful. The rest of the ugrades you'll only be able to fill out on a NG+ run due to the shortage of quartz per run.
Gotcha, thanks!!
Man seeing you having fun playing is making me want to go play again lol. Ive never done an all truth run so I might just go do that XD
I'm glad to hear that! I would love it if any game I play makes others want to do the same, especially if it means supporting indies like when I played Neva!
If you are having some trouble with the salamander dagger due to the range, Id recommend using the blade on some longer handle. The blade is the part which does the fire damage, but the handles of all weapons are what come with the fable art. So if you got a really good fable art you can pair it with a good head. (good handles might also help with increasing stagger damage, though most stagger damage comes from the head) As for fire damage being good, I do believe it is the most well rounded against all enemies, whether they are puppets or humans. But obviously electric will do more against puppets overall, and same goes for poison against humans. Burn damage is still your perfect middle ground though.
This will be great to keep in mind, thank you 😊
Yeah, I got no tips for you this time. Youve pretty much got the hang of things. I might give you more tips on legion arms and maybe even P-Organs when you've unlocked more of it later on. As far as bosses in this game go, most of them are (compared to other souls games) pretty easy. The only exceptions being the last two bosses. (three depending on which ending you get). So there shouldn't be much use of spectres unless you are really in a pinch. You can sell unused weapons if you want to, but it hardly seems worth the amount you get for them. I never sold mine simply because of my need to collect and have everything lol.
Haha I'll probably end up doing the same and just keep all the weapons 😂
keep up the good work.
Thank you!!
So, a quick tip about some weapons (particularly advance types). Feel free to read it and keep in mind, but you don't necessarily have to use this advice either. You'd notice that almost all of the advance weapons scale off two different types of damage. In the case of the electric coil back at the merchant, it does physical damage which scales off motivity and technique, and a second type of damage called electric Blitz, which scales off the Advance stat. Different types of advance damage does more to different enemies. As you can imagine, the robotic puppets will take EXTRA damage from electric type attacks. The important thing to note is, you can also disassemble weapons. You can find a good weapon that scales highly off technique, use the handle from that. And then find a good advance weapon head and prop it on there so you have a fast swinging elementally charged weapon. So now you can still level up your technique stats as your main source of damage, and then have some bare minimum in advance to be able to use some extra damage from the elements for enemies. Elements also deal different status effects. (Electricity can stun, fire will cause them to burn over time, so on)
These are great tips, thank you, and that makes sense. I'll definitely keep that in mind going forward and make sure to put some points into advance as well :)
The ergo from the bosses to get a weapon or amulet later on
Yeah, already messed that first one up 😂
Okay since they are named as such and no explanation is given around it, DO NOT make the same mistake I did and use your Rare Ergo for XP. They are one time only drops from bosses that are used later on for some unique and awesome items. Youve already used one so unfortunately you will not be able to get that item later, but rest assured you will get far better items from the later boss ergos. Second suggestion ill give is, try and stick to either only lying or only telling the truth during one playthrough. Depending on the amount of lies or truths, your ending would change. Third tip. Motivity, technique, and advance are three types of weapon affinities. Each weapon scales based off one type of damage as its primary. Motivity weapons I believe are more of your strength build, hard hitting but slower weapons. Technique weapons are faster to swing and move with, but do lower damage per hit. Advance is mainly for elemental affinity type weapons. Thats about all for this vid, I shall give more suggestions if needed on the next one. Good luck!
This is all such good info, thank you!! 😁I'll definitely keep this in mind going forward, especially that Rare Ergo tip!!
Ooo Lies of P! Even though it isn't a fromsoft game, this is honestly one of of my favourite souls games. Right up there with Bloodborne and Elden Ring (and Sekiro but idk how to rank them lol)
That's awesome! I'm excited to keep playing it :)
Sekiro is still my only FromSoft at the moment, but I'll change that!
Elden ring?🤷♂️
I think that'll happen at some point! 😉
Always liked the ambience in this game more than the second one
That's interesting! I've been feeling that this game feels a little too empty for my liking as compared to the second one. What about this one do you particularly like? :)
@BulletCat56 It just has an overall darker, more real feeling to it, I guess, more akin to blood meridian than typical western media, which I like more as the history of the south irl is dark. I could be biased because of nostalgia at the same time though, lol.
Nah, that's a really great way to describe it, I think, and very interesting! I assume you mean Cormac's Blood Meridian?
@@BulletCat56 yessir
That's fascinating! I just recently read both The Road and No Country for the first time. I have Blood Meridian but haven't started reading it yet. When I do, I'll be interested to consider your comparison to RDR1!
it’s funny you say you’re going to miss the greenery of RDR2, because I’ve been replaying that game and I miss the desert landscape of the first one!
both are excellent though
I wonder how much that's affected by which one you play first. But also, I'm just a big fan of green 😊
Hey man great video. Can you make the game louder its hard to hear the dialogues
Hey there! I will make sure to do that, thanks for the feedback :)
Oh, hell yeah. Great game
Yeah I'm looking forward to finally playing it!
wasnt thinking of buying this game before, but im absolutely stunned by how beautiful it is. I may just have to grab it soon😇
Yes!! I would be so happy to hear that by watching my video you decided to buy a game and support the devs!😊 Bummed I wasn't able to get another video out today due to the new job, but I'm excited to see how the game goes!
I’d really like to see more FromSoft games from you! The learning curve on them won’t be bad by comparison and I think they’ll be more enjoyable to play! Looking forward to your next playlist!
Sounds great! My next series is gonna be very different from this; just a short little game but beautiful and poignant is my expectation. I will probably look at another FromSoft game after that :)
Thank you the the entertainment. Well done! You've completed the normal Imortal Severence Ending. Just 3 more bosses to go. Welcome to the the Git Gud club. 🙂 I agree, there should be an easy, normal and hard mode, I myself struggled early on and quit playing. I'm glad I came back to it and tried again. For anyone else reading this and wanting to complete the game, you can do it. Just take the time to learn each boss one by one. Be ok with dying lots and you'll eventually make progress just as I did. There's plenty of resources out there if you need guidance. Good luck.
Thank you for watching and supporting all the way through! Currently working my way through NG+ to try see some other endings and fight other bosses. I might try record some of those and put them out on the channel. And yes, to anyone reading, this game is absolutely worth taking the time to figure out :)
Congrats)
Thanks! 😊
Congrats on beating the game! Yeah by all means feel free to lower the number of videos per week, your content is pretty good so it shouldnt really matter. From the way you played this I feel like youd definitely enjoy Elden Ring, or perhaps even Red Dead Redemption 2 (which I am currently going through so I can recommend it through personal experience) Looking forward to the next vid!
Thank you! I'll have to see how the schedule looks, but I want to try at least do 3 a week if not stick to my 5. Funny you should mention RDR2. Over the past few weeks I've been replaying it (3rd time) in my spare time. incredible game, one of my top games of all time.
Wow, v impressed! I had a feeling you would beat isshin quickly with how well you did on the demon of hatred🎉 Great job and I would love to see you beat some of the other endings if you decide to show that! Looking forward to your next series dude🎉🎉
Thank you very much 😊 When I get to the other endings on my NG+ playthroughs, I'll could probably record them and put them out. Just not sure how much to record and how much would be different, you know? But I'll see how it all goes and hopefully be able to put out some more Sekiro stuff at some point :)
Awesome dude. What a pain in the ass boss. If you've seen afro senju's reaction to killing him, that's how I was, lol. I didn't watch the whole vid, cuz I don't wan't the ending spoiled, lol, but great job on beating the game.
Thank you! I'll have to look up that reaction 😂
"I dont want to do this fight yet" Bold of you to assume you can beat a contender for hardest souls boss ever on the first attempt 😂 There is also a way to get to the Hirata estate again which Im not sure youd be able to reach at the moment since you have reached the ending. Try resting at the buddha statue again? It should take you to an updated version of the Hirata estate and some new bosses (one of which is definitely among the top three hardest bosses in this game, along with Isshin and DoH)
Haha that's fair 🤣I imagine it will take me many attempts to get past him! I do think it's too late for me to get the updated Hirata stuff; was reading up on it last night! Bummed I missed that, but I'll do it on my own time during NG+!
Love the channel so far! I’m new here and like JUST finished my first run. Circling to the right (towards the left leg) hard will dodge a lot of the sweeping fire arm attacks. When you use fire umbrella to dodge the jump wait for all fire to disappear off screen or you’ll get knocked back and follow up with an attack with the umbrella if you have the prosthetic upgrade. Jump to dodge his perilous charge and it will ALWAYS MISS! Keep at it and don’t forget to keep buffs active!!! We’re rooting for you!
Thank you so much, happy to have you 😊congrats on the first run completion! And thank you also for these tips and encouragement!
Time to 'Git Gud'. 😉
We'll see 😂
You can also use the fire fortress for any fire attacks that feel impossible to dodge, but don't use it too much, cuz you'll want enough spirit emblems to use malcontent 3 times
You finally made to doh, nice. I'll just tell you what I had to do to beat him. You'll need the fire iron fortress prosthetic and the malcontent prosthetic. Tips for fighting him: pop a ceremonial tanto at the beginning, you'll need all the spirit emblems you can get. Then for the first two phases use the shield for his body slam attacks, you can simply stay under him and not take any damag if you have the shield on and then for his non-fire attacks you can deflect those. When you get to his 3rd phase use malcontent 3 times to get him super low and finish him off. Apart from that you just have to figure this boss out and DON'T GET GREEDY with attacks, he will punish you. Btw doh is the sculptor.
Yep, that about sums it up. 👍
Thanks for the tips! Really appreciate it :) also, really sad to learn that it's the Sculptor :(
Not too much left to go at now, you're making good progress. Now would be a good time to farm for some skill points. And before you head for the gate, make your way over to the battleground and check out that area. There is plenty of stuff yet to discover. When you've completed the game just be sure to learn about some of the lore before playing a new game. Things will make a bit more sense next time. You'll need to consult the Sekiro wiki to get the most from the game on the next play through, especially if you want to get some of the other endings. 👍
Oh wow, I figured I was probably decently close to the end, but it sounds like I'm really close! Definitely gonna have a look at some other stuff before heading towards the end.
I'm basically racing you to beat the game at this point, lol. I'm on a business trip so I can't play again til early november :(
Well, I am starting a new job on Monday, which might require me to reduce the number of episodes I record, but we'll see!
@BulletCat56 Ah, well good luck at your new job. Hopefully it doesn't take away too much free time
Yeah good luck with the new job, I'm sure it'll go well once you've settled in.
Nice! Keep going. You'll need to do some exploring to find the path.
That's the plan for the next episode, thanks! 😊
Came across this channel randomly but ive been slowly catching up to this sekiro series of yours. For your first souls game, you have done phenomenally well, congrats! Now that ive caught up i might be able to drop some tips now and then but im excited to see how you tackle the rest of the game 😁
Happy to have you here! And thank you for the kind words, it's been tough but really enjoyable (mostly😂). I am always grateful for any tips or guidance!
Ive died so many times to thus stupid monkey that its moveset is pretty much hardwired into my brain lol. I can now get through this fight hitless but it definitely took me a good while to get there 😅
The infested chapter needs to be given to the divine child of the waters Fromsoft does not like children getting hurt so they hide the cut on kuro's chest. I suggest to eavesdrop isshin and Emma to learn more about the other mortal blade. I also suggest eavesdrop on kuro and talk to Emma about it, reload the area where you fought owl and talk to Emma more.
Great tips, thank you! 😊
You'll need to work a bit harder for those easy stealth kills in the Fountain Head Palace area. I must admit, I sometimes just couldn't find a way to get them all. I occasionally had to throw caution to the wind and battle through. You're doing great, keep going. You're starting to 'git gud' but you'll need to beat the final boss before you can claim that title. 😀
I'm excited for this new area! Thanks for the encouragement! I'm not too phased about being too good 😂most important thing for me is enjoying the game, and I am, immensely 😊
I am so impressed with how well you are handling these bosses. Things are going to get harder but somehow I feel like you will still take only a few tries each boss. I swear if you beat the final boss in less than ten tries, that will be insane. If anyone is gonna do it it will be you im sure! Long ways to go tho, enjoying this series!!
You're incredibly kind, thank you 😊but now the pressure is on for me to beat the final boss in less than 10 tries I guess 😂glad you are enjoying the series!
Congratulations on beating Owl and welcome to the real Sekiro, your training is complete. You're technique has improved and is now good enough to be able to complete the game... Continue to work on your approach to the stealth aspect of the game and you'll have it nailed. So the good news is you've avoided the bad ending. You're also on track to be able to do the normal (Imortal Severance) ending. The other two endings require specifc steps that are too detailed for me to go into here (see the link below). So once again, you'll need to make a choice about how you want to approach the game play, as you're unlikely to acheive two of the endings without knowing what steps to perform. I suggest you just continue on if you don't want any spoilers. You might even stumble across one of the other endings by chance. For myself, I chose to learn as much about the game as I could, including the folklore and do all the side quests and mini-bosses on my first playthrough. I found that approach just as enjoyable as there was so much to discover! And I still missed some steps for one of the endings. I also elected to not cheat my way to the endings. I'm going for the full four play throughs, so for me it doesn't matter what ending I do or in which order. Good luck! Spoiler alert: sekiroshadowsdietwice.wiki.fextralife.com/Endings
The real Sekiro...bro got me so nervous now 😂thanks for the ongoing encouragement, support, and info! I'm gonna just keep going and not research the endings, I think.
Random tip about the big guy with the bell. Some enemies have loose fitted armor that you can rip off with the spear. There's an enemy later that you can do this to, so be on the lookout
Good tip, thank you 😊I never use that tool 😂
Nice! Well done. Right, I wanna point you in the right direction but I still don't want to spoil your play through. So, what to tell you that doesn't give anything away? Hmm.. Ok, well, you'll eventually figure this out anyway but I'll save you a bit of time. Head back to Kuro. There, that'll do it for now. Tip: Read the discription on the Jizo Statue. Try using one mid fight AFTER you've reserected and observe what it does to your reserection nodes. They'll come in handy in the right situation. Use them wisely.
Thanks 😊ok, I'll go speak to Kuro. Was kinda thinking that might be good to do soon! And I'll definitely keep the Jizo in mind!
Good job. Sorry I looked forward to you fighting her🤣. And btw that cheese where you can jump behind her to get a free deathblow was patched.
Haha no worries 🤣 I guess it's a good thing I didn't try use that on her then!
@@BulletCat56 welp, now I look forward to you fighting demon of hatred😈
Well that sounds like it's gonna be a ton of fun 😂
@@BulletCat56 Yep, hardest boss ever! Thankfully it's optional but you'll need it if you want to go platinum.
I don't know if I'm going for platinum, but I'm definitely aiming to fight everything in the game!
Any strategy that takes down the Guardian Ape is a good strategy, well done!🙂
🤣thank you, much appreciated!!
Nice take down of Snake Eye's Shirafuji. That woman took me ages to beat and I quit there a few times. It's funny how you said you wanted to quit this game, welcome to the club! I'm sure all those of us having played the game have felt that way at some point. Please don't, I'm finding your videos highly amusing. 🙂Keep going, you're doing ok! Tip: Do some research on the fish scales (spoiler alert). Don't waste your time on the headless until you have the lazulite shield prosthetic. It is possible to take out the headless without it but the headless are optional. Hint: Just use the sugar's. Also, divine confetti is in short supply in the early game but can be purchased by the bucket load from the merchants later on. Needing more of it should be your clue to come back and tackle those enemy's later.
Haha yeah, to be honest I don't actually want to quit, but I know you understand the sentiment. I am fully committed to seeing this game through entirely. Thanks for the tip regarding Headless and divine confetti!
Hi and ok, yes me again! 🙂 And to prove my comment earlier about being able to take out the first health bar on all mini-bosses, I'll give you a tip that I got from Tyrannicon (thanks dude if you're reading this). Tip: Don't talk to O'rin, she's gonna attack you no matter what. Instead, jump on her head to stagger her and backstab her from behind to take out the first health bar. You'll need to be super quick, so make sure you land behind her. There's a cheese strat to take her out but I opted for my own strategy here and held my guard up all the time. I managed my posture and hit her when there was a chance. If you try to heal, she'll try to take you down. She turns ghost like in between attacks and you can't hit her when she's in this state. To damage her, you might want to think about whether you got that mortal blade just to show your mates or to use?
Oh that's a really interesting strat for getting the first death blow, I'm definitely gonna try that! Not gonna go for the cheese option. Am I to assume there is a way to actively make use of the mortal blade? I just assumed it was something that now enables me to kill certain enemies, not necessarily a freely available weapon.
I found the headless super intimidating at first and left them all til mid-end game tbh. they scared the shit out of me. you will get tools down the line specifically for some of their magic attacks so that will also help.
Ok, good to know I'm not the only one 😂 they feel somewhat doable, I just need more confetti or other tools.
Dude you can beat her, trust me. I did mibu village before genichiro and beat her with nothing but my sword and rob's firecrackers. She is a rythem boss, think of her attacks like a song and deflect to the beat of that song and you can defeat her. Also if you want to go the easy route she's very weak to the kusibimaru prosthetic. You can do it.
Ok, thanks for the encouragement! I'll make sure to beat her in the next episode 😊
@@BulletCat56 💪🥷
You're right, there are things that need to be done in order so that the game progresses. At the same time, you're free to move back and forth through different areas as they unlock. So jumping across the valley using the kite is possible as you've found out. However, that area has certain dependencies before it becomes active.
I figured this was probably the case, but thanks for letting me know! I'll have to go back there at some point then :)
Remember I said Ash was one of the most under used items? Fire crackers are awesome but consume spirit emblems.
There's a way take take the first health bar off ALL mini bosses. That's also true of the keen eyed sharp shooting female Snake Eye warriors. You just need to work out the correct approach.
Ok that's good to know! Thanks :)
