I can’t believe you would have these takes. This isn’t the michi I know and love, I thought you were different. When we kissed that night I thought there was magic, now I regert it. And I wished we didn’t do any of that other stuff that night as well, even tho it felt right at the time.
The second opinion sucks. How can a team with 68 points compete for a trophy against a team with 91 points. I can understand if it happens in situations where they finish with less than 1 point difference.
1) Agreed; VAR has ruined the game ever since it was introduced in my opinion, especially being a neutral. I'm sick and tired of wrong calls, and I genuinely feel like they've increased despite the so-called "assistance". 2) Neutral: Although it's not a terrible idea, I feel like the anticipation, the adrenaline, the anxiety and the sheer panic when there's a 1 or 2-point gap is so exciting that I don't wanna give that up in determining the winner (I might have to admit I'm a sadist). 3) Kind of disagree: I believe that the Premier League is the best league in the world right now, but I will agree that the fans are ruining the league. And I agree that other leagues are being disrespected. 4) DIsagree: I have to admit my personal bias here; I don't get any joy or excitement watching Mo Salah, but my day is made whenever I watch Ronaldinho's old games. But then again, I admit personal bias here. I still like Mo Salah though. 5) STRONGLY AGREE: If Messi didn't exist, Ronaldo would've won the Ballon d'Or every year he was in Madrid, and I genuinely believe his top 5 or even 6 or 7 seasons out of 9 seasons could win the Ballon d'Or in competition with his 2008 United self. 6) Agreed: I have to use specific language to describe Haaland if I have criticism of him, but I don't think I'd personally ever use "tap-in merchant" purposefully. 7) DIsagree: I think hosting World Cups in a variety of different countries can be great for exposing the culture, encouraging hosbitability, and giving people around a world a reason to visit other countries. I understand your point of corruption and having it e a nice gesture by FIFA, but only a select handful of nations win that trophy. Morroco or South Africa or Japan won't win one anytime soon, and I think hosting World Cups in those countries have/would be awesome to expose culture and whatnot. 8) Slightly disagree. I'd put him second but I have a slight bias towards 2017/2018 Modric. 9) STRONGLY AGREE: FInd me someone who has won Olympic Gold, two continental cups and a World Cup. 10) STRONGLY AGREE: This shouldn't have even been a debate. I blame Madrid fans.
Legitimate criticism of Haaland stems, not from the fact he's a tap in merchant, but from the fact he's a tap in merchant who does nothing outside of goals, and who for most of his career apart from this season which has just started, has had average finishing. If you're a tap in merchant who either provides something outside of goals or has world class finishing, it doesn't matter
Bale vs Neymar I don’t think should be all that clear. Sure in terms of football talent Neymar wins but top tier football isn’t just about talent. Messi is the most talented player ever but he won’t be called best ever if he didn’t achieve the things he did. Bale has so many moments where he wins his team trophies with goals and assist. He even carried Wales consistently ffs, brought effin Wales to a WC semi.
6:58 Nooooo, I know It's a different sport, but a system like this exists in the polish speedway league and It showed Its flaws so many times already. Imagine that e.g KdB gets injured in the last main table game of the year and they have to play without him in the play-off, that would just be extremely unfair in a knockout style tournament. A mini-league of top 4 (everyone plays 6 games, 3 home 3 away) with halfed points would be a lot better (is in a lot of other football leagues e.g. Belgian League and works really well).
I had a controversial Barça opinion, that I’m sorry I had. For quite a while I had thought Barça were low-key planning to let go and cash in on Pedri.. not soon, but in the future. Then the Dani Olmo signing further increased that thought. BUT, the way things are looking, I’m losing that thought.
Well this is interesting. I usually find myself agreeing with you on 95% of the things you say, but with this video ... the percentage is way lower. 1) VAR - while I agree it is not perfect, I still think it's better to have it. The drawbacks are the extra time needed to check, and most importantly (as you pointed out) it takes away from celebrating a goal. But other than these 2 things, I can't agree with you. You keep giving the example of being offside by a "kneecap" .. listen, you have to draw the line somewhere, and I mean that both literally and figuratively. I know it sucks to be just an inch away from being legal, but it is what it is. Also, what if we had an El Clasico final in the UCL, and Real won it 1-0 with a "kneecap" offside goal ? By your logic, this should be fine. As a funny addition, at 06:01 you say "controversy i what makes football so great". Ok, well VAR is controversial .. so by your own logic you should love VAR 😂 2) Knock out tournament for top 4 teams, to establish winner - it does have some merit, but it is vastly underwhelming when compared to the HUGE drawback, which is ... the fact that it would invalidate most of the work you put throughout the year. You really could have a case where team 1 has 9 points over team 2, and 20 points over team 4. But all of a sudden, team 4 could win. So while a few suprises are welcome, too much unpredictability / instability is bad. Again, I have to remind you to put yourself in the position of those that would be on the receiving end of this. Imagine Barca DOMINATING / CRUSHING La Liga finishing 9 points ahead of second place Atletico. Real Madrid is having an awful year, they've barely dragged themselves into 4th position, 20 points behind Barca .. but because RM are the best at knock-out fixtures, they win 3 games at the end of the season, and boom - RM wins the title. How would you, and the other Barca fans feel about this ? What would you say about all the effort put into all the other 38 games of regular season ? 3) Premier League is a tad overrated, especially by the PL fans - agreed. 4) Salah > Ronaldinho. Oh boy, here is where we're about to FIGHT. And keep in mind, I'm a Real Madrid fan. Here's one instance where you're showing the limits of your ball knowledge, BUT what is redeeming you is .. your age. Given you're under 30, you clearly have not seen the best of Ronaldinho live, only clips, which is a damn shame. You did not experience the Ronaldinho hype. From 2004 to 2008 Ronaldinho was worshipped as a GOD, Maradona himself said that Ronaldinho is better. Ronaldinho is THE MOST ENTERTAINING person to step foot on grass, period. And while he didn't score industrial amounts of goals like Messi and CR7, given his overall influence on a match, I'd even go so far as to say that I'd have a hard time choosing between prime Ronaldinho and prime ... any other player. To me, Ronaldinho sits at the highest "table" in football, a table with 5 other players: Messi, CR7, Pele, Maradona and R9. As for Salah, he's not even sitting at the second table, where you have players like Zidane, Romario, Platini, Cruyff etc. I would have to be generous to put him on the third table, that's how far from Ronaldinho he is. The only thing Salah has over Ronaldinho is ... more goals scored. Boring. Important, but boring. Ronaldinho is 10 times better at literally everything else. Ronaldinho's impact on a game is triple, compared to Salah. But you don't know that, because you haven't seen Ronaldinho play every week. Oh, and since you mentioned trophies, need I remind the Ronaldinho has won the WORLD CUP and the BALLON D'OR ? And the UCL. And Copa America. Also 2 x THE BEST FIFA Men's Player. 2 times La Liga champion, 1 time Serie A champion, Copa Libertadores winner, and other cups and supercups that I don't care to mention. I can't let you go without roasting you for this: 14:12 "Salah is a better playmaker, and when it comes to dribbling I'll give it to Ronaldinho but it's slight" SAY WHAT ???? Now I know for sure you're taking the piss, bro, you've CLEARLY only seen clips of Ronaldinho. Come on dude, from who's ass did you even pull the sentence that Salah is a good playmaker ? In what world ? He's a winger that scores a lot of goals, that's it. Yes, he's sometimes playing some good passes, but that's a huge distance away from calling him a playmaker. Whereas Ronaldinho is maybe the best when it comes to playmaking, only a few challenge him, such as Zidane, Messi, Iniesta. The same goes for dribbling .. Prime RONALDINHO is once again at a highest table where only a few others stay, such as Messi, R9, Neymar, Maradona, CR7 (in the first half of his career), JJ Okocha, Hazard. Even among these guys, Ronaldinho might still be the best, at least when it comes to FLAIR dribbling and skills. 5) CR7's best 5 seasons were all with RM - well this one is in between, because it depends on how you evaluate a good season. If we're talking strictly about individual performances .. yes, CR7 reached his peak at Madrid. But if you're also factoring in trophies and awards, then you MUST have that 08/09 United season somewhere in his top5. 6) Using the term "tap in merchant" is low IQ football knowledge - AGREED. Bonus argument to use against the naysayers: IF IT'S SO EASY, WHY DOESN'T EVERY SINGLE PLAYER DO IT ? Or at least every striker / forward ? I agree that it's not very entertaining, it's pretty boring scoring goals like that, but that's no reason to disrespect the player and question his ability. On the contrary, like Michi said, it takes great skill to always be in the right place at the right time, it's not luck ! 7) The World Cup should be hosted by the previous winner: interesting one, I actually haven't heard it before. Alas, it wouldn't be too good for football. You would have the World cup hosted by only a handful of nations, which is not good. The objective is to make football a GLOBAL thing, SPREAD IT, make it reach even nations that are currently not football crazed. 8) 18/19 Van Dijk above all else (except Messi and CR7) .. the idea does have merit, but it's still a stretch, let's not overdo it. Granted, I admit being biased in this, just as much as anyone else. I'm talking about the bias towards attacking players. That's the actual problem here: it's about defenders in general not getting the glory as much as midfielders/forwards do. This is why I humbly bring to everyone's attention the proposal that there should be 2 separate awards: best attacking player, best defensive player. They are THAT different and hard to compare, that they MUST be separated. Otherwise, defensive players will keep staying in the shadow of offensive players. (BTW, this would solve this year's Ballon d'Or problem as well: best offensive player = Vini, best defensive player = Rodri - he's a defensive midfielder after all) 9) Messi the GOAT international player - I myself am only 37 years old, so it's hard to compare with players from past ages. So with my limited knowledge that is biased towards recency ... I would mostly agree with you. But CR7 winning the Euros and being top scorer, should at least be mentioned. If you truly want to exclude him, than you should rename the premise as "Messi is the GOAT international TOURNAMENT player" 1) Neymar CLEARS Bale - this is a TAD harsh. See what I did there ? 😅 Neymar is clearly the better player, but saying it like this, "clear", and in all caps ... a bit too much :) Also, for funsies: 25:43 "Everything that Bale could do, Neymar could do better" .. challenge accepted ! I nominate the departments of: longshots, powershots, heading, pace. Do you still stand by your statement that Neymar is better than Bale in those areas ? Even if I disagreed quite a lot with you on this video, it's still a good time, to each his own. 🙂 Peace out !
18:53 but what if some incompetant country wins the world cup (Croatia) where are they gonna play because the stadiums are shit and no way that gets fixed in the next 4 years

Thoughts on madrid vs sociedad?
Typical Madrid bro lol. Team doesn’t take their chances and they win in the end. Same old same old
@@michknoballperformace wise they were MID

The last take I thought should of been common sense, who actually believes Bale is better than Neymar?!
Opinion 3 is spot on.
Ferran Torres coming clutch with Google Slides 🥶 🔥 😮💨
hey michi which do you think was better: salah or hazard?
6:58 Nooooo, I know It's a different sport, but a system like this exists in the polish speedway league and It showed Its flaws so many times already. Imagine that e.g KdB gets injured in the last main table game of the year and they have to play without him in the play-off, that would just be extremely unfair in a knockout style tournament. A mini-league of top 4 (everyone plays 6 games, 3 home 3 away) with halfed points would be a lot better (is in a lot of other football leagues e.g. Belgian League and works really well).
The saying goes “dog in the fight” / “horse in the race”

@@Yuh0847 Because Salah is that good of a player lol. He's been better than Neymar since 2018
Powerpoint so good it might just land Unc a job in consulting
I had a controversial Barça opinion, that I’m sorry I had. For quite a while I had thought Barça were low-key planning to let go and cash in on Pedri.. not soon, but in the future. Then the Dani Olmo signing further increased that thought. BUT, the way things are looking, I’m losing that thought.
When Michi pulls out the Powerpoint we all have to take notes
Doesn’t the belgium league have something like a knockout round between the top teams or no?
michi let’s play legos tomorrow at McDonald’s, make sure to bring the mustard.
Ok, well VAR is controversial .. so by your own logic you should love VAR 😂
2) Knock out tournament for top 4 teams, to establish winner - it does have some merit, but it is vastly underwhelming when compared to the HUGE drawback, which is ... the fact that it would invalidate most of the work you put throughout the year.
I can't let you go without roasting you for this: 14:12 "Salah is a better playmaker, and when it comes to dribbling I'll give it to Ronaldinho but it's slight"
SAY WHAT ????
(BTW, this would solve this year's Ballon d'Or problem as well: best offensive player = Vini, best defensive player = Rodri - he's a defensive midfielder after all)
9) Messi the GOAT international player - I myself am only 37 years old, so it's hard to compare with players from past ages. So with my limited knowledge that is biased towards recency ... I would mostly agree with you. But CR7 winning the Euros and being top scorer, should at least be mentioned. If you truly want to exclude him, than you should rename the premise as "Messi is the GOAT international TOURNAMENT player"
1) Neymar CLEARS Bale - this is a TAD harsh. See what I did there ? 😅
Neymar is clearly the better player, but saying it like this, "clear", and in all caps ... a bit too much :)
Also, for funsies: 25:43 "Everything that Bale could do, Neymar could do better" .. challenge accepted ! I nominate the departments of: longshots, powershots, heading, pace. Do you still stand by your statement that Neymar is better than Bale in those areas ?
Even if I disagreed quite a lot with you on this video, it's still a good time, to each his own. 🙂
Peace out !
