Pacita Abad’s vibrant, peripatetic life is reflected in her expansive oeuvre, incorporating diverse artistic traditions from the places she lived in and visited.
Her first retrospective at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, is now on its final weekend. It then travels to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, where it will be on view from 21 October 2023 to 28 January 2024.
