I am from the Philippines but I had this rare opportunity to live in Kano from 1985-1987. Kano back then was better, cleaner, there were no malls yet. People were/are friendly. I like their barbecue...called suya. Awesome experience!!
So much to talk about, so many histories untold. The largest wheat market in west africa is in kano, makama meuseum was left out, kano popular markets, kano people, gidan dan hausa, dyeing place, kano gates and much more!! disappointed
Asim Balarabe Yazid thank you for your feedback. Episode 2 covers more of the story, this is episode 3. However, I was in Kano for 1 night. I could not explore all of the destinations in so little time. I’m looking to explore all that you suggested during my next visit. Thanks
To be honest, I was surprised at your style of dress. Even in Dubai, the expectation is that you try to wear something conservative. Arms and legs not showing.. If you really want to be respectful you wear a veil.. I am a Christian btw, but I was surprised you thought they would let you in. Kano isnt Lagos..
Thank you for your comment, we stopped by the Emir's palace and the Zoo on our way to the airport after a speaking engagement I had. More was covered in the previous episode. However, now that I know this, I will prepare better next time.
Have you been to any of the Northern states in Nigeria ? If so, what was your experience?

You spent so much time on the elephant, your video can be so concentrated with information in every minute, if you want.
