So if they are about to go over the line to win, and then crash and slide over the line, does that count as winning still? Does the bike and person have to slide across?

1 year later but with more accurate info. Until 2019 the rider needed to cross the line in contact with the bike, fallen or not, since 2020 (not totally sure about this dates) both need to cross the line and will count the 1st part of the last crossing, it means, if he fell, the bike cross the line and he doesn't, he can run to the finish it and will count the 1st part of his body that cross the line, or if he fell and both cross at almost same time, it will count the 2nd thing (him or his bike) crossing it.
