@@grayfox4819 plus it seems like Sunny has at least some kind of resentment towards doctors because she said that her parents pushed her to be a doctor.
To be fair med school and becoming a doctor is an incredibly life consuming and stressful endeavor. It can put a huge strain on your family and relationships. How do I know this? My Dad's an opthalmologist.
I think it was more that he changed from the person she had first met. He became all business, and thus he was no longer the person she fell for. She can still respect him, but the romance was gone.
She fumbled a solid, hardworking man, FOR REAL. I already rose a brow towards Scott's mom beforehand, but this just increased the hate tenfold. He was willing to seek an interest in the medical field and support his family with a job he liked despite LITERALLY breaking both of his legs, and she DUMPS him for that?? I mean, I'd understand if he prioritized his work over his family, THAT'S reason to grow apart, but it seems like he just found a way to bounce back after his accident and she faulted him for this.
No. Divorce happens for many reasons but the main one they show us is that Sunny and Eduardo grew apart after he started medical school. Their life goals and energies didn't align anymore. Doctors don't get a lot of free time and they have to take their studies very seriously. Even eye doctors. Divorce doesn't always happen because there was abuse or infidelity. Sometimes you just outgrow a person.
I can't tell if this is a joke or not, cus i just can't take it seriously. Like what??? My best guess is either despite scott being older enough to know the reason but she just put out on some parts of the story ( some parts that scott mentality cant handle) or this is the actual story. What do you think??
This show is a comedy so I think this scenario might be exaggerated for the sake of the comedy. However even in humorous circumstances they tend to be played strait cause the plot demands it.
So Edwardo and Sunny Denoga are divorced? That’s crazy, it’s the situation with Libby’s divorced parents all over again. Also how do you break your leg in 10 PLACES!? That’s beyond insane.
So she basically got bored in her marriage, because it reminded her what her parents tried to force on her? She met someone who had a zess for life, but became more cautious and thay bored her? Honestly, it would've been more realistic to say his dad walked out on them, because with Disney it's either death or divorce. What about a deadbeat who didn't care about being a father?
I've always wondered what happened to Scott's dad and this episode reveals what happened. He and Scott's mom divorced all because he went to medical school and his mom hated medical school.
Yeah, Disney is really showing a lot of divorced parents. Sasha's parents: Amphibia Amity's parents (Alador/Odalia): The Owl House Cricket & Tilly's parents (Bill/Nancy): Big City Greens Libby's parents: The Ghost and Molly Mcgee
@@ciscojacobo7168 I recently noticed that too. At this rate we'll get a Mickey Mouse cartoon finding out Donald and Daisy were married for a time before getting divorced.

I'm sure that it wasn't the *entire* reason they got divorced. Relationships are more complicated than Disney would be allowed to show in its entirety. You could even call it the friction between two personalities, becoming incompatible by the end. And besides, they still have a healthy relationship with each other and their kids.

All work and no play makes me a dull Rottweiler. But to be fair, I would’ve gone to law school if it meant saving my favorite uncle from the tragedy of food☠️poisoning
I know it seems like a controversial divorce reason, but for context, her parents wanted her to be a doctor when she wanted to do anything else. Then her carefree and adventurous husband became one. I think the divorce was a mutual separation, and hopefully the episode ends with them having a stronger friendship. Sunny’s still selfish though
Also agree, she shouldn't have divorced him all because he wanted to become a doctor. She should have just stayed married with him and just lived with it and accepted his decision.
So she doesn't want her husband to have a job with really good pay I know i shouldn't question this because its a cartoon but thats the most ridiculous reason for a divorce ever
You know Some mothers would kill to have their children grow up to be a Doctor of sorts. So this was the first time I’ve ever heard a mother say I don’t want you to be a Doctor to their son🤔
I think this was told this way to make it funny. A lot of people are focusing on the "He became boring." part. She does say that they grew apart which if you think about makes sense. He used to be care free and encouraged her to be care free too instead of pursuing a career as a doctor, which is what her parents wanted. This was a moment for her to realize that she had the freedom to dream and do as she wished and live in the moment. Something that they shared. When he had his accident he changed. He didn't want to live that life anymore. One could say that him pursuing a career in the medical field, the same career path he encouraged Sunny to stop pursuing, would feel like a stab in the back. But whether that part is true the main reason is the fact they grew apart. This is what is possibly a very "healthy" divorce. She still wanted to be care free to an extent while he wanted to pursue a completely different life style. It's like having your best friend decide that they don't want to be your friend anymore because they want something different for themselves. It sucks. But people change. Some better some worse. I say that the fact that they still have family karaoke together means it was for the better.
Okay what is the deal with the 2024 backstories First in Kung fu Panda 4 the Chameleon(the main villain)became evil because she couldn't do kung fu just because of her height when Shifu, who is twice shorter than her is literally the Jade palace master, not to mention that mantis who is the size of a breadcrumb And now Scott's parents divorce just because he became a doctor?! Hopefully the backstories in 2025 will be better than these low budget backstories!

People are mad over the divorce but he changed so much. I remember a family on our neighborhood. The husband wanted more kids and the wife agreed only if they were able to earn enough to support them. They went from 2 to 4 and her husband worked hard to become essentially a CEO. She stayed home with the little 2 until they started school and she'd go back to work. One day her husband came home and said he was inspired to follow his childhood dream of being a pokice officer. She argued they had 4 kids, 2 cars, owned a home. She said she couldnt support it because of the stress it would put on the finances and kids. He accused her of only caring about money. So she divorced him left everything. Moved bavk to her home state with her family's support and got a job. She felt like he was choosing a career and escapism over the life he had built and chosen. In this case i understand his newfound passion to be a doctor. But consider they had multiple kids, they were running a family business. The costs of medical school, the hours/years of commitment. His young children not having him around. His wife who gave up that high stress life possibly being resented by her family and then being sucked back into it. He has a right to be a doctor. But he had a family and commitments he had chosen that he probably neglected. And he also let it influence his behavior and interests to the point he and his wife couldnt relate to one another anymore.
