I've loved this song since it was released. It reminds me of my ex-girlfriend from the early 90's, but that pain is now long gone and I still have this fantastic song!

Amazing to hear this and see that these guys can still deliver over 30 years later. This song brings back memories of a girl I met in my second year of high school and the single summer holiday period we spent together over a couple of months. She wasn’t my first love, but she was significant . The song was on a mixtape she had that we used to listen to on the crappy tape player in her ancient 70’s Corolla. She was my first New Year’s kiss, but ended up leaving me for another guy which was a hard blow for my 16 year-old heart. I ran into her about 7 or 8 years ago at a mutual friends wedding and although I wasn’t looking for it, she gave me a very heartfelt apology for the way things went. I’d forgotten the hurt feelings a long time ago, but it was nice to be reunited and reminisce on the times we shared. Music is a bit like reuniting with that old flame, even long after the feelings are gone. It reminds you that you had them, and for better or worse, you were thankful for that.

From all the way down in Australia, the Gun Blossoms were one of my fave bands in the ‘90’s. Criminally underrated rated, they were always a solid band. Great to see them on a resurgence of popularity.
