This has to be the best series I have ever watched, period. It has all the qualities that I admire, and all the actors are magnificent! Every episode is a lesson in life, beautiful! I discovered you last night, and I cannot stop watching it, wow!
Zatoichi movies seem somewhat reminiscent of " Spaghetti western movie " starring Clint Eastwood in 80s-90s; Clint Eastwood is tantamount w/ Shintaro Katsu or Zatoichi. Both are on the side of weak, poor, & honest people. The obvious difference is the weapon that has been used to take care of those useless & harmful rogues whose existence is like that of parasites; namely, Gun vs Katana. Possibly unbeatable one & only entertaining TV movies that must have been second to none!,,,,Thoroughly enjoyed, admired, & appreciated it to the core at the comfort of my home. (02/18/24)
Dude when he cuts the guy's sword at the handle. It's just too good. They don't make sword scenes like this anymore.
I really admire how Zato Ichi starts very politely with people at first sight, in spite of his extraordinary power, then he turns so aggressive with whoever doesn't deserve it. !!!

the good and wonderfull thing about this series is that he never has a drop of blood on his sword even after killing so many peoples
I had a cat , he was stocky build with gray short hair,he didn't see well but was a really good hunter , when he was like only 9 - 10 months old he got a squirrel almost his size, around 3 years old he was "king of the hill" in the neighborhood , he also love to do a massage with his paws, we called him Ichy 😂

Some viewers have a hard time with this series because they don't like seeing Ichi kill so many men. I can understand that. It is a bit much sometimes. However, by the time he starts slicing and dicing, there was no other solution. What I have a hard time with is watching Ichi-san eat. It's X-rated dining. It's totally disgusting.

этот сериал я смотрю уже много лет.. очень редко смотрю.. когда остаюсь один и хочу снова погрузиться в мир настоящих переживаний.. снова пережить эти чувства.. которые называются настоящая жизнь.. иногда мне кажется что это я.. и в конце я снова ухожу один в неизвестность..
I'm not sure why exactly he spared Gonji so many times, he would always just come back to cause more trouble. He usually kills guys that squandered the gift of life he gave them the second time around since they showed they would continue to make the same mistakes and showed no appreciation.

Ichi saved Gonji's life perhaps because Gonji was jealous. Ichi is parhaps kind to the person who has been disappointed in love.

And him met something to her .. remember he sees what we don’t see .. he should got it though well deserve .. one thing I did notice .. he still came around and be friend her . Japanese movies .. they get you involved emotionally to have endings like this unknown , sad happy, wtf hahah 😂😂 that’s what makes it fun ..
