You know I had the thought since Bill's dad is Euclid, and his dimension was Euclidya, maybe Bill's dad was a King or leader of sorts, and maybe Bill was right with his birthday being considered a holiday, He's the son of the King of the universe
The funny part is, we should _totally_ be able to comprehend Bill's homeworld, as if it were moving drawings on a piece of paper (or heck, animations on a screen like a 2D video game). It's _higher_ dimensions that we're unable to observe or visualize properly (see: the entire premise of _4D Golf)._ Heck, Stanford himself ended up in a _different_ 2D world in Journal 3, and though he struggled to interact with it physically (and ended up attacked by it with some nasty paper cuts), he still managed to at least observe and partially understand it (in spite of being unable to change his observation angle, his eyes intersected the plane but his Z-axis position was fixed).
i think it's impossible to really be in a dimensions where everything is 2d without being in it, we can represent it in our three-dimensional universe but our minds aren't really good at imagining things we haven't seen
As a guy who read The Great Gatsby in high school, here something that may help: T. J. Eckleburg, the eye doctor in the story with the billboard, is the symbolic equivalent of God’s judgment. The billboard, with its striking blue eyes, looks down on how society is in the book and lets the world fall into the pitfalls of its temptations. Perhaps there is a character, new or old, that fills this role. An observer of a fallen world that offers an escape, but we never take it, and Bill can’t accept it.
on the page about destroying his universe, he has a trauma reaction, which would explain why he blacks out, but it doesnt explain why the words itself glitched out, if he wrote them down, they shouldnt be glitching out like that because of his reaction, unless, the neurons of the brain matter made of the page is connected to his own brain, so it's a possibility that the book itself is made of his own brain matter, and the ink is his own blood, since we saw that same glitchy effect on the words on his blood on the government interrogation page. Bill used his own brain matter and blood to make the book.
The website just updated! if you put "Scalene" and "Euclid" in the computer it says "lifeform not found"!!!!! Thank you for dropping this video just in time!!!!
And if you put in "well well well being" it says bill only draws red and blue triangles and that bill is afraid of 3D glasses (probably a trauma response) Which implies that his parents were red and blue
@@Cygnus10101 putting in “TANTRUM” it unlocks the conversation Bill and Time Baby have before they’re fight (reference to the book) Time Baby brings up Bills dimension and to say it pisses Bill off would be an understatement.
ACTUALLY, i believe the silly straw thing is in reference to them trying to make Bill stop seeing the third dimension as it was not allowed, but because baby billy was fussy, he had to drink the medicine with a silly straw
Bill has a tragic backstory and have a lot of shame of it because he feels pain and guilt . his weird and maniac clown classroom persona is a facade and a disfunctional coping mechanism
Exacltly i was listening a podcast about c-ptsd and a psychologist mentioned that when someone is traumatized to dont belong anywhere and their atitude is tules by trauma they can associate with other “black sheep “ in order to Fit in however this can be dangerous because the person is Connecting with these kind by bad energy and by trauma rather self acceptance . Maybe bill doesn’t like him self too and this explains his self destrucyive ( when he possesed dipper and Ford ) and his chaotic behaviour ..😢
or maybe when he was in the 2nd dimension and could see the third dimension, he was forced to drink medicine to make him "blind" to "up". he refused to take the medicine and instead tried showing his world the third dimension (either intentionally or unintentionally) killing everyone. he went crazy/manic due to his guilt in killing them. he also mentioned getting bullied for being different in his dimension
About the failed methods, specifically the music part, i would like to offer up "its gonna get weird" by lemon demon for consideration. You see, lemon demon, or Neil Cicierega, was contacted by the gravity falls team to compose and perform a song for Bill Cipher, but it was never used, and yet never scraped. Just a thought.
16:10 My interpretation, it's about Bill seeing the third dimension because of a mutation. And the doctor is trying to get rid of that by getting rid of his vision. It also talks about Bill when he was younger, so it would be before the massacre
Interesting thought! And while it could be, I don’t know if that would constitute “visions”. That would just be regular vision. I also want to note that Bill is currently a preteen at 1 trillion and 12 years old, which would mean he’s been a baby for at LEAST 83 billion years after he was born
@@RemGames It could be but I honestly feel like the "preteen" bit was just a joke as 12 years ago was when Gravity Falls aired for the first time. Bill canonically drinks and in general has done various "adult" things, if Disney was against an F bomb I don't think they'd put actual underage drinking in a book... in general, he feels like a broken adult more than an actual preteen
Okay, just noting down an idea I had: In the poem talking about the doctor giving baby Billy the medicine to cure his visions, he could also be talking about how only Bill could see the third dimension and no one else understood what he meant by saying there was a direction called “up”. Nothing else I can really add but that’s an interesting fact.
I really enjoyed your video and hearing your theories about Billy Cipher from "The Book of Bill." I just wanted to mention three things. 1.) Is it possible to interpret the rhyme a different way? Bill mentions in his "backstory" that he could see the third dimension, but no one knew what he was talking about. This is supported when he says, "No one else in my stifling pancake of a reality understood what I was talk about when I said there was a direction called "up"." This could possibly have led people to believe that Bill was seeing things, hence the mention of the eye doctor. The part that says "who want to make his patients blind" could possibly reference that the doctor prescribed Bill a medicine which would prevent Bill from seeing the third dimension. However, as supported by the quote "Fussy eater. Baby Billy wouldn't drink unless its silly", Bill wouldn't take the medicine unless he drank it from a silly straw as you mentioned. However, Bill eventually got sick and tired of taking the medicine, everyone disregarding what he said about the third dimension and treating him as if he was seeing things, so he lashed out which led to the Euclidean Massacre. And as you said, he is haunted by the ghosts of his family. Again, that's just a theory on another way to interpret the rhyme on the Silly Straws page/section of the book. 2.) During a drunken rant by Bill, it is implied that his claims of a good childhood are false and that he was actually ostracized for his mutation, giving him the drive to finally make his race understand what he saw. This is referenced in "Gravity Falls: Journal 3" by Disney Book Group. July 26, 2016. Published by Disney Press. Page(s) The Oracle. 3.) Bill cameos in The Simpsons episode "Bart's In Jail!". In a mass hallucination of the titular family, the Norse god of mischief Loki claims that Bill is one of his many forms, and Bill says, "Buy crypto, suckers!" Alex Hirsch reprises his role and has confirmed this to be canonical.
I think his claims of a good childhood were true up til he started telling everyone about the 3rd dimension (so he WAS beloved when very little/a baby, but once he was old enough to talk and comprehend stuff better they treated him as though he was weird)
1: My Take is that after starting to take it, *Bill realised that the 'Medicine' was meant to kill what made him Special,* and got so Blinded by Rage from the Betrayal by his own Parents that he 'Burned' them _(toned down to avoid the Algorithm)._ Then, wracked with Guilt and Insanity from what he'd done, Bill unleashed his Full Powers (including more he didn't realise he had) against his Homeworld, annihilating it... 2: _The Book of Bill_ itself's Powers page has Bill verify that *he was ridiculed by others in School for the abilities he had,* so his claims of "always been Loved" were definitely a blatant fabrication. 3: To elaborate Alex Hirsch's statement, Bill Cipher Guest Starring in _The Simpsons_ is Canonical - *the Statement that he was One of Loki's Alter Egos is Not!* Seperate Fiction from Fiction in Fiction, people!
Isn't Euclid some sort of king? After all, he had an entire universe under his name. That would make Bill a prince, wouldn't it? Which would explain why everyone "loved him so much".
Theory: what if the reason that bill is loved by the creatures in his universe to the point that even his wrongdoings are acceptable is because his father Euclid, aka the "father of geometry" was the leader of that universe. This would explain his special treatment and why him of all people have the ability to see through the third dimension.
Now here's an interesting thought built on that (although I don't think it's correct unless the second triangle in static asking why did you do it on the website is not his real father.) But what if momma triangle and a circle somehow hooked up and made Bill? Going off the idea that Bills world is based on Flatland where they have a dystopic cast society with circles at the top and triangles something like merchant class, that scandal would be insane. But could explain Bills round eye and mutation which lets him see the third dimension. And would further validate the "father of geometry" if Bills father was one of the ruling circle class.
I'd like to add to this, there's something you didn't mention which would have fit into this video. In one of the torn out journal pages, there is one part where Bill shows the remain of his home dimension, when Ford asked what happened, how was his dimension destroyed, Bill hesitated, being described by Ford as "distant, more distant than I'd ever seen him" Finally Bill replies "by a monster." He clearly blames himself, but doesn't want to face what he's done
This video raises a good question though. Bill always bragged about the destruction of his home, but clearly it hurt him deeply. So what if eveything else hes done is him coping with his trauma? What if bill isnt actually an evil mastermind, but a broken man, desperatly searching for a way out? Could he desire to turn earth into his playground as a way to bring back what he lost?
When I first saw the silly straws part and the codes, I thought it meant how Bill could see the third dimension and those were his “visions“ and he had to take some sort of medicine to make the visions go away, but the way you describe it makes a lot more sense
I imagined that silly straw cryptograms meant that doctor in Bill's home dimension was tasked to give him medicine to take away Bill's third-dimensional vision. As it is mentioned by Bill that talking about third dimension was illegal in his home dimension. Your view of the cryptograms gave Bill more depth in his trauma. My view made his parents to put their child on meds because he was born different. I don't know which one is better, kinda like both options to be canon.
I just watched the first part of this series today and I was bummed I couldn't watch the second, but this is amazing! Less than an hour after it being released 🙌
Wow this psychopath not only destroyed his world but also devoured the souls of the inhabitants of his world including his family this is madness on another level good video keep going
I think while Bill did lash out and destroy his homeworld/home dimension, it was because they tried to do something terrible to him. The color cypher in the Eye Chart mentions the Euclydea Department of Vision Correction, Bill mentions that his ability to see the third dimension is a mutation, he emphasizes how everyone loved him and the mayor said he’s the best ( but we know Bill lies and was likely saying the inverse of what actually happened, the fact that everyone of his fellow Flatlanders were given knives is terrifying, implying they were about to murder him); and lastly the Silly Straw encrypted text mentions that the eye doctor wasn’t trying to restore vision but to blind him-giving him drugs (in liquid form, that baby Billy wouldn’t take except via silly straw) that would “correct/remove” his ability to see the 3dd dimension. Bill’s finally speech in the book cements this, “just like my miserable family who tried to snuff out my late game!” Not only was Bill’s ability shunned, he was put through coerced procedures, as a child. No wonder he’s traumatized. But Bill wanted them to see, maybe wanted to stop being persecuted; so he did something that destroyed Euclydea. Or maybe he just wanted them to stop, so he attacked (he mentions being covered in blood). Either way, something happened and it was violent. His parent’s static text still calls it murder. Time Baby calls it a massacre. Maybe it was both. Bill at one points mentions to Ford trying to turn back time and it not being possible, and regrettable. Maybe he tried to undo his violence, but that caused even more widespread destruction/collapse. The Theraprism calls it the 2nd Dimension Incident. I think Bill was traumatized in childhood for his differences. Lashed out violently, was so traumatized he did something else (either inadvertently or intentionally) and wiped out his whole dimensions. He was orphaned, homeless, and alone. Add on top of that he’s a Narcissistic who can feel no shame, and you get…..literally everything he does from that moment onwards. Running from a guilt he literally cannot let himself process. The mad desperate gasp of a teenage theater kid, as Ford put it. There’s the tragic backstory. He’s still reprehensible for it all, though. Even if he had bad actions put upon him, he’s still choosing to do further worse actions; instead of how Ford and Stan turned their own corners. Even Pacifica.
Thanks a lot for this video I love all the misteries of gravity falls but I don't have that much eperience and time to solve them myself, I knew the silly straws page would be important and I'm happy to see what it actually sais ! Love your videos !
I thought, as Euclydia is the home dimension, the shape like residents of the dimension would be known as Euclideans, while the triangle residents (like bill and his parents) would be known as scalenes
Just want to add that runic is the language Oden hung himself on the world tree to understand and learn the secrets of the universe meaning he can alter anything useing the runes or "rune magic" so it kinda makes sense to me that it was on the multi verse tradeing card
For the silly straw messages, I feel like you could interpret it as a doctor trying to make bill's visions of the 3rd dimension using some kind of medicine.
Your idea with him wanting the ghosts to go away make sense but i thought mabey this was a doctor in his world who wanted to help him stop seeing a third dimension I dont know this just sounds right to me
i think scalene and euclid mean moreso a singular term of a species like "man" instead of "mankind" or or things like "animal" like saying "man and animal rest in peice"
Don't quote me on this, but I might have a little theory. Theory: In the Book of Bill, there were pages where he mentioned Daryll, The Lobster Lord of the Deep several times and when Ford asked him what destroyed his home world, he said "By a momster". Granted, he was lying to Ford, but the fact he said monster specifically really had me thinking. Further more, when Bill was having a trauma response, he briefly said mandibles, which is what insects, arachnids and especially crustaceans have for mouths. In other words... *Bill could've mistakenly summoned Daryll to his home world, not only causing destruction, but it possibly killed his parents (Euclid and Scalene) by tearing them apart and eating their bodies. Leaving nothing but one tiny speck of reality of his world.* Think about it.
(singing we'll meet again but different) We meet again, now know where, not now and then. OH I know we'll find this lore out on a sunny day! Ready for round 2
I still believe that the vision that bill is referring are his visions of a third dimension. His parents (Euclid and Scalene) got worried and went to the doctor but something freaked bill out that made him massacre his planet or universe.
This is seriously amazing. Idk if im stupid, you’re smart, or something else, but the blackboard’s name should be just like keyhole and hectorgon: “Blackboard”
When Dipper asked the axolotl he said, "Saw his own dimension burn...Blame the arson for the fire..." This shows that the thing he did to destroy euclydia has to do with fire/arson.
I think the thing with Little billy doesn‘t want to drink is more, about his parents trying to kill Bills visions about the third dimension until he snapped- and well you know the rest of the Story
Personally i think the whole silly straw page could also be about how as a child the doctors tried to cure bill being able to see the 3rd dimension “silly billy” seems like what you would say to an unruly child not an adult who murdered millions. Which could be part of the reason he destroyed his reality’s
The whole rest in PIECE thing made me think of something. that could have 2 outcomes 1-the video with bill and his parents has them portrayed as silhouettes made of static. As someone said in your previous video bill is scared of tv static,It’s possible since the axolotl did say “Blame the arson for the fire” and “saw his own dimension burn” that bill like you said in your video tore apart and then burnt Euclidia. But, it’s possible that this fire could have been similar to Pompeii and left some Euclidians as statues of static Including his parents. 2.Since Bill does have the last of Euclidia’s atoms as a small speck in his hat, It’s possible the rest in Piece could be referring to the speck because it has the last atoms of euclidia which would most likely include His parents, as it’s been made clear several times that he deeply loved his parents and regrets their death and kept a speck of their combined atoms as a memorial of his home and his family.
@@RemGamesomg! I can’t believe you replied! I was looking for the name of Bill’s code (to mark up my new copy of The Great Gatsby, as one does) and I saw that you replied! I’m so happy!!!
If you go to the website, it's updated a ton, there's a lot of keywords you can put into the book such as the species, and other random keywords within the book
I think that scalene is a triangle species in bill's world. And during his massacre he killed his species and other shapes OR because he tried to show them the 3 rd dimension, it resulted in their body to tear apart as only bill had the power too comprehend 3rd dimension not others This is my theory. And also i think that his people, in his dimension were called Euclidean, where there were different shapes from different places just like in irl and one of the species were scalene triangle. But it looks like he is a triangle with all sides equal.
Who says he can _never_ get over his trauma? Treating trauma is _complicated,_ not to mention the severity of the trauma that must come with destroying an entire world. It's not gonna be a quick, all-or-nothing thing. It's a process that can take years of therapy and possibly medication and other treatments as well, and improvement isn't going to happen all at once. Just because he hasn't been able to work through his trauma _yet,_ doesn't mean it's hopeless. He's got a long and hard road ahead of him, but if he ever finally decides to actually accept the help the therapists are offering (assuming they're qualified and competent at trauma treatment), there is hope he can get better. It will be slow and hard and painful, but in the end he'd be better off for it. I just hope that eventually he decides to accept the help offered and actually try, with the therapists' guidance, to address his trauma and pain and eventually also all harm he's done to so many others (I suspect getting him to feel genuine remorse for his actions without him first achieving some degree of healing from his trauma would be virtually impossible). Be nice to see him get a proper redemption arc, given the trauma of his past.
I'm not sure I agree with the doctor part I see. to me, it's saying more like the because he was born with this mutation that makes him see the 3rd dimension. A doctor came to try and take the visions of this 3rd dimension away and Bill wouldn't cooperate at first. Um, not about stuff after I don't know, really.

@@inachos5759you can. Draw a triangle. Boom you comprehend 2D.
As a guy who read The Great Gatsby in high school, here something that may help:
T. An observer of a fallen world that offers an escape, but we never take it, and Bill can’t accept it.
that would be the axolotl which explains his reluctancy in calling his name for a second chance at life
on the page about destroying his universe, he has a trauma reaction, which would explain why he blacks out, but it doesnt explain why the words itself glitched out, if he wrote them down, they shouldnt be glitching out like that because of his reaction, unless, the neurons of the brain matter made of the page is connected to his own brain, so it's a possibility that the book itself is made of his own brain matter, and the ink is his own blood, since we saw that same glitchy effect on the words on his blood on the government interrogation page.
Bill used his own brain matter and blood to make the book.
The website just updated! if you put "Scalene" and "Euclid" in the computer it says "lifeform not found"!!!!! Thank you for dropping this video just in time!!!!
And if you put in "well well well being" it says bill only draws red and blue triangles and that bill is afraid of 3D glasses (probably a trauma response)
Which implies that his parents were red and blue
@@Cygnus10101 putting in “TANTRUM” it unlocks the conversation Bill and Time Baby have before they’re fight (reference to the book) Time Baby brings up Bills dimension and to say it pisses Bill off would be an understatement.
@@bleujay6127if you put baby you'll see bill in a ultrasound
Yeah and if u write euclydia it says dimension not found so its a dimension that destroyed maybe bills dimension
That's what I was thinking.
@@RemGames Oh and the corpses were mangled and twisted just like the silly straws.
@@RemGames what if maybe the doctor and everyone around him thought that the 3rd dimension was a vision?
Okay, just noting down an idea I had:
In the poem talking about the doctor giving baby Billy the medicine to cure his visions, he could also be talking about how only Bill could see the third dimension and no one else understood what he meant by saying there was a direction called “up”. Nothing else I can really add but that’s an interesting fact.
Bill has a good singing voice
Edit: I had a feeling they were his parents! 19:24
@@testerwulf3357 That’s what I’m saying in my theory. I just neglected that part
3: To elaborate Alex Hirsch's statement, Bill Cipher Guest Starring in _The Simpsons_ is Canonical - *the Statement that he was One of Loki's Alter Egos is Not!*
Seperate Fiction from Fiction in Fiction, people!
18:08 Okay Bill, just dont go to over board, meet an few people
Bill secounds later:
He’s insane!
@@RemGames It reminds me of that one "Remember, keep the conversation light and casual" AbsoluteNutcase162 comic
And would further validate the "father of geometry" if Bills father was one of the ruling circle class.
he lied about everyoe loving him though
I'd like to add to this, there's something you didn't mention which would have fit into this video.
In one of the torn out journal pages, there is one part where Bill shows the remain of his home dimension, when Ford asked what happened, how was his dimension destroyed, Bill hesitated, being described by Ford as "distant, more distant than I'd ever seen him"
Finally Bill replies "by a monster." He clearly blames himself, but doesn't want to face what he's done
and when Ford offers to help take him down, Bill says 'It would eat you alive' or something to that effect

@diwang3845: 8:11 I think it's funny how the entire multiverse is in a Pokémon card
I’m so glad this channel got recommended to me. And to get in while you’re still under 100k is super exciting. Can’t wait to see more.

I recently found out apparently there’s a real female name called “Eartha” so the idea of a Euclidean called Euclid isn’t that far fetched

I just watched the first part of this series today and I was bummed I couldn't watch the second, but this is amazing! Less than an hour after it being released 🙌
What good timing!
i literally cant wait for the next episode
We’ve already called Bill a preteen theater kid last episode, this episode we exposed his trauma, we just keep abusing Bill every episode 😂

For the name of the Black Board, here are my top picks

• Charlie
• Dion
• Williy

Call the blackboard "blackboard soos"

Absolutely amazing looking through all the clues and details of this book is amazing and I think you did a great job with this video
Thank you so much!
I saw a lot of’shorts of gravity falls and decided to watch it. Seeing that there might come a season 3 makes me so fricking happy
Thanks a lot for this video I love all the misteries of gravity falls but I don't have that much eperience and time to solve them myself, I knew the silly straws page would be important and I'm happy to see what it actually sais ! Love your videos !
seems like your theory of his life form and place is correct since putting either Euclid or euclidia does confirm it is a place or life form

Matpat might have betrayed us but we gained a new source
6:39 that’s actually perfect
3:25 Do you think that was cut off right there intentionally to make Bill say that he's a simp?
I thought, as Euclydia is the home dimension, the shape like residents of the dimension would be known as Euclideans, while the triangle residents (like bill and his parents) would be known as scalenes
Just want to add that runic is the language Oden hung himself on the world tree to understand and learn the secrets of the universe meaning he can alter anything useing the runes or "rune magic" so it kinda makes sense to me that it was on the multi verse tradeing card

For the silly straw messages, I feel like you could interpret it as a doctor trying to make bill's visions of the 3rd dimension using some kind of medicine.
Your idea with him wanting the ghosts to go away make sense but i thought mabey this was a doctor in his world who wanted to help him stop seeing a third dimension
I dont know this just sounds right to me
This channel is like old 2016 game theory and it's rlly cool
i think scalene and euclid mean moreso a singular term of a species
like "man" instead of "mankind" or or things like "animal"
like saying
"man and animal rest in peice"
Euclid and Scalene are confirmed in the website as individuals. Typing their names gets you the message "lifeform not found"
it's his parents
Name suggestion: Bill

What if "piece" wasn't a typo? What if they weren't killed... But scattered?
Hello, wall

Hello, wall
Hello, wall
Leaving nothing but one tiny speck of reality of his world.*
Think about it.

@@My_xles It’s even crazier that we got it confirmed only a few HOURS later!
I still believe that the vision that bill is referring are his visions of a third dimension. His parents (Euclid and Scalene) got worried and went to the doctor but something freaked bill out that made him massacre his planet or universe.
When Bill has his arms straight down and his legs bent, I see his legs as his arms and I imagine him standing like a dinosaur
This is seriously amazing. Idk if im stupid, you’re smart, or something else, but the blackboard’s name should be just like keyhole and hectorgon: “Blackboard”

The scribbled out henchmaniac is the oracle from journal 3. Forgot where you mentioned it so im just gonna post this on all 3 videos.
When Dipper asked the axolotl he said, "Saw his own dimension burn...Blame the arson for the fire..." This shows that the thing he did to destroy euclydia has to do with fire/arson.
A name suggestion for the black board maybe “The Cipher Chronicles” or like smth along those lines
I can’t wait for a new episode since the website got updated omg
I think the thing with Little billy doesn‘t want to drink is more, about his parents trying to kill Bills visions about the third dimension until he snapped- and well you know the rest of the Story
personally, i hope we get a prequel of bills past and what happened, that would be VERY cool
Hard to fathom how a straw could exist in two dimensions, let alone a straw that loops back over itself.
9:03 I think shapes in euclidians is like race in humans.
Idk I just came up with that.
5:49 Is “love” and “pain” on his tattoo a reference to _Night of the Hunter?_ The bad guy has “love” and “hate” tattooed on his hands.
Personally i think the whole silly straw page could also be about how as a child the doctors tried to cure bill being able to see the 3rd dimension “silly billy” seems like what you would say to an unruly child not an adult who murdered millions. Which could be part of the reason he destroyed his reality’s

One of the codes is love
Please make a video on everything in the website! 🙏🏻🙌 It looks like we're in for a mindwhopping time! 🔥
The whole rest in PIECE thing made me think of something. that could have 2 outcomes
1-the video with bill and his parents has them portrayed as silhouettes made of static.
I guess that's instant karma it always "bites back" basically.
15:01 This makes me think of the Society of the Blind Eye

If you go to the website, it's updated a ton, there's a lot of keywords you can put into the book such as the species, and other random keywords within the book
There's also things from twitter like using "Burnside" from Gus Burnside
I think that scalene is a triangle species in bill's world. And during his massacre he killed his species and other shapes OR because he tried to show them the 3 rd dimension, it resulted in their body to tear apart as only bill had the power too comprehend 3rd dimension not others
This is my theory.
Euclidean could definitely be a species name, with triangles, rhombuses and trapezoids being different variants, like with pokemon regional forms
