    Love the snake. I want to do a mood tracker project, as my focus for this year will be my mental health. I like the idea of a pillow. Something soft and snuggly.

    • @starlightandstitches
      @starlightandstitches  Год назад

      A pillow would be great but the snake was nearly 10 foot long done in a sc so that would be one massive pillow!! I’m tracking something different this year as well instead of temperatures… excited to show you all in a few weeks! ❤️

    The snake is fantastic, so thrilled to see the end result. How about making a 12 legged monster where each leg is 1 month, rather than one long project?

      I’ve loved doing mine over the last couple of years- and it’s helpful to use up all your leftover ends of balls! You should definitely do it!! ❤️

    Maybe a series of toys, like bears for example, one for every season that represents the temperature of that season. Then you could dress them up if you want (like a hat for winter or a flower for spring). It would also give you ~90 rows to work with.

    Hello lovely Alice!!! I absolutely love everything you made! The snake and the scrappy blanket are awesome! I honestly can't think of anything for what to make for the tracker but if I think of anything I will let you know :) I hope you have a great week! And Happy New Years! Hugs ❤

    Can I just say, you look amazing! The new hair colour really suits you.
    I agree with other suggestions - a jellyfish or monster with 12 tentacles. A sausage dog would be cute but very similar to the snake. A table runner might work but would probably be too long for most tables. I know you said no to a scarf but maybe turn it into an infinity scarf? Or....what about bunting? A triangle for each day?
    Looking forward to hearing what you are recording this year. 😀

    The snake looks amazing! Maybe this year you could do a sausage dog? The body could be the thing you’re tracking and then the head, legs and tail could be just one neutral colour like the grey on Nagini?

    You could do a scarf by doing narrow strip for 3, 4 or 6 months depending length you want. Join as you go the next strip or next 2/3 strips depending how many months each strip is.

    • @starlightandstitches
      @starlightandstitches  Год назад +1

      @@starlightandstitches ruclips.net/video/nNr7hVXBg9c/видео.htmlsi=ZEZu8UJSIbpTlYKx you could do it in moss stitch, I think linen stitch is same stitch. You can of course make shorter strip than this.

    • @anne-mariesmith2007
      @anne-mariesmith2007 Год назад

      I've got a scrap blanket going using tunisian simple stitch. As strips are narrow I can use a normal straight crochet hook. Tl yarn Crafts has tutorials for this too.

    • @anne-mariesmith2007

    I did a temperature blanket knitted it was way to wide and taking a long time to do 2 rows as i did garter stitch. So decided to make it shorter it looks very odd i did from march to decemeber then did the bind off . I am looking to do something else have you looked at fiberflux they have some suggestions. Bella crochet did a blanket but tracking your mood which i quite liked. I still haven't decided lol 😅
