Hearing an abuser admit what they did is always a relief - because it doesn't matter how sure you are that it happened, when they start denying it you start to think that you're crazy and you made it up so when they finally admit it it's like a relief.
“Did you hear me saying NO!!”😭😭😭😭🥹🥹🥹 hearing Lewis admitting about him raping Ben even though Ben knows it might be just because of he’s scared of the gun, but still Ben needs to hear it so that he gets his closure, to find some sort of control back, like he can control what’s happening to himself, that he’s not powerless anymore!!🥺🥺🥺
And, one day I believe Callum Will hear Lewis admit it in court. Feels like this whole scene Will play out in court get Lewis sent down for what he did to Ben. Except for the gun pointing.
Poor Ben went into self destruction mode after what Lewis did to him and this was like closure to the torment he went through but got the confession he needed by how a Mitchell knows how
@@pryfy7746 You're correct. Lewis could easily weasel his way out of it by saying Ben was threatening him and was holding him hostage whilst pointing a gun at him to get that confession.
@@pryfy7746 anywhere else in the world it’s legal to record people. Only the soppy UK that disallows it! We’re a joke. People probably laugh at our criminal justice! 🙄

That's why he asked him to describe it. If Lewis's story matched his in his head, he knew what he remembered was real. This was for him not police or anyone else.
This show has been going from bad to worse for quite a while with these rubbish, over the top story-lines ... the only thing that's kept my interest is the first class acting from Ben (Max Bowden) and to see what might happen between Ben and Callum ... but they've dragged things out for so long now that it's getting just boring and unpleasant to watch. Pity, because when Ben and Callum first met it was riveting tv, but now it's completely descended into farce.
@@stevenuhn2033 So Steve, if you don't think this particular episode isn't way over the top, as is the whole Ben rape story, then the producers have really done their job by sucking you in! What they do, is they decide they're going to take the latest Woke - social issues they come across and impose them into the series. So they decided they'd give us a 'lesson' on male rape. Only problem is that they chose a character in Ben Mitchell who freely admits that he has had sex with 'hundreds' of men ... and there's no way that what happened to him would cause him to collapse into a blubbering mess ... it's not a young inexperienced straight boy who's getting gang raped and it's just completely unrealistic. When you listen to the dialogue you can see that they've copied all the lasted stuff that gets bandied around these days, like how important it is that it's reported to the police and how 'no means no', but it just doesn't wash in the circumstances they've chosen to impose it on i.e. a highly promiscuous gay man who's had extensive experience, and I mean extensive! And nowhere did I say anything about 'homophobic violence' which I obviously don't condone being a gay man myself, and depression is a completely different thing. Of course Steve, most of the real violence over the last episodes has actually come from a gay man, Ben, like in this episode? I don't know about you, but I've found the entire 'rape' story to be most unpleasant viewing, and I was finding the Ben-Callum story to be a beautiful love story between two men. But then the producers decide to destroy it by bringing in this unnecessary and unrealistic rape story. The whole saga is basically pandering to the majority heterosexual/ female audience. As Lewis said to Ben, he basically regarded them as a straight couple, and the lessons they inflict on us come from the heterosexual/ female literature. Hope you're enjoying the latest episode where they get back together ... the Lewis thing seems to have been dropped off the radar? Cheers Steve, Terry
I love how he said “i ignored you and carried on” to try and avoid admitting to rape as if that isnt the basic definition for rape 💀
Right? Just say the word ‘rape’ if you’re big enough to do it then you’re big enough to admit it
can’t lie tho Lewis’ actor is pretty good
This is a huge scene... Probably one of the best in Eastenders.....

Why am I crying watching this bit🥹…it’s too much. Wow
@@Thomas-bz2hy Dunno. Hopefully its not because you're sympathising with the self-pity of a rapist who has no regrets about what he did.

I really wish Callum would have heard Lewis say that so then at least Callum would know Ben did not cheat on him
Technically Ben wanted to. He was looking for sex with someone else but didn't expect the raping.
Callum does find out amazing scene ❤
@@shaniecenoade8139 I agree.
Amazing scenes
Why am I crying?
😭 so sad this scene 😭
I like how in this scene Lewis was not The dominant one, Ben was.
But Lewis gave him a lot of home truths regarding Ben's marriage and his overall traits and weak points and he was right though.
@@forzacmo9069 no he wasnt
Ben you should have recorded him and give it to the police
It would have to be audio only since Ben had a gun on Lewis.
It wouldn't be allowed as evidence as its under duress.

I'd say anything you want to hear if you are holding a gun to my head....but if it floats his boat then sail on.
