It’s kinda hard to see where you are stitching because the yarn matches your fingernail polish, but it looks to be like a fun stitch to work with.

I would like to make a baby blanket with this stitch, how many chain stitches do I start with?
Hi Linda! With a worsted weight yarn and a 5mm hook, I get 12 forked hdc sts in 4"...so I would probably start with a chain of around 110 to get a 36" wide blanket.
Is there a stitch similar to this called "Front ""Forked"" Double Crocket Stitch"?
Are you going through both loops of the stitches?
After she does the first row she goes through loops.
