I have a question about the timing of Ezekial 38-39 that I haven't gotten an answer to. If Israel burns the weapons for seven years, yet they have to run and hide at the midpoint, doesn't that mean the war has to happen at least 3 1/2 yrs before the start of the tribulation? Would someone please explain the timing and 7 yr burning to me?
Good observation, this 7 year period that Israel uses the weapons for fuel indicates.. that the Ezekiel 38-39 war occurs *before* the 7 year tribulation period. Ezekiel 3819-20 describe a massive earthquake... _the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground._ This earthquake quite likely clears the Temple mount, allowing the Temple to be built. There will be very little opposition because the Muslim Army has just perished.

Sorry your theory along with a lot of others doesn't work. 38 & 39 are like 36 & 37 this is a progressive situation that doesn't happen right away! It has to start shortly after tribulation begins Second Seal in Revelation and end at the end of tribulation for Israel 🇮🇱 to completley return to fulfill last verse and know that God is their Lord 38:23 it's in phases took me awhile to come to understanding but only way everything lines up with scripture God bless 😁✝️❤📖👑🍞🍷
I believe that gog is the title of a leader and magog are those that this leader rules over, because there are 2 gog and magog wars, the other is when satan and the deceived world after the 1000 year rule come against the saints of Israel he (satan) is gog and those that follow him ( all the nations) are magog so gog and magog are titles of a ruler and a peoples group under the leadership of this ruler referred to as gog. We know no one comes except The Lord draws him or the Lord knocking and they won't open their heart. However we don't want to encourage anyone to hell or teach false doctrines. You are correct. Israel is not occupying any territory that was not God-given. Israel and the land it occupies now was God's gift to His people.
