    Curious.. would it not be easier to remove the Clan Vs Clan element from Clash?
    Nerfing all these champs, changing all these mechanics, all the BS, all crying, all of it disappears in an instant if Clash isn't PvP.
    Increase the point requirement for all Clash chests and have it simply be a clan effort every week to hit the milestones.. hell, you could add a Faction rotation to make it interesting. No Dwarves this week, Epic only, etc.

    All of the changes to fix Trunda teams you proposed like: adding a damage cap, making respawned heads be immune to damage, lowering decapitation damage bonus...; doesn't just hurt Trunda, it hurts everyone. The only good change I heard was to make the second hit on Trundas A2 not able to crit which would only reduce HER damage by a lot and not hurt anyone else. They could also just fix her A2 to work properly, but that's just my opinion.
    If Trundas A2 is broken, you fix THAT. If Yannicas A3 is broken, you fix THAT. If Ironclads passive is broken, you fix THAT. Dont change the core mechanics to accommodate specific interactions.

    In fairness on the Ignore Def area, the majority of folks are getting to 12% from area bonuses (so few want to deal with gold live arena).

      If they keep the caps/reductions to percentages, it will hit the bigger hitters significantly more than the smaller hitters. I would definitely like to see an across the board tm for decapitated heads, either set it to zero/10% or like 50% so it is a turn and a half of decap. It is absolutely the worst to decap a head when it is about to take a turn, and you basically lose an entire turn of decapitation.

    There will still be versions of the Trunda teams that can smash NM difficulties thus the problem can potentially become worse as not all players can get high points in NM.

    Rather than block damage on new heads have the spawn buff they get work like unkillable so they have 1 hp till they get a turn. This would only affect teams that can one shot heads. As well as a high damage cap.

    Great video my dude. I think a couple things are necessary. First we need UNM Hydra. That will up the difficulty significantly just like it does in Demon Lord. And then I think there needs to be a balance to Trunda and Wix and they need to monitor the champs going forward.

    1:10 But they have no problem changing Yannica IMMEDIATELY after announcing the changes.
    As long as Trunda is still doing her thing, Yannica (which is literally a fraction of the "brokenness" that Trunda is) should still be able to do "her thing" also.
    Gee, wonder if it has anything to do with Yannica being available to everyone.......nah, couldn't be that. 🤦

    What i really want to see is a turn limit number greatly reduced. 20 min max hydra run should be the goal. After that all the crazy damage would be greatly reduced already. A slight tweak on trunda and then you should be fine.

      For hydra specifically this is a great idea. 20 minutes might be a bit harsh, and time shouldnt really be the metric we measure by though. My brutal team runs a shamael and almost 30 minutes of the 1:15 run is just him counter attacking because plarium wont do anything about that. Reducing total turn count to 1000 or something would be much better with turn counter starting at 500-750 turns in.

    Since points are based off of damage, I think the best thing to balance the crazy scores with more parity is having a multiplier based in unique champions.
    Let's say dor exampke every unique champion gives a x1.1 multiplier for that champions score, and for each dupe of something it lowers that number by 0.2 for subsequent dupes.
    It could be tweaked of course to promote unique teams, plus it would promote team coordination. This way whilst you'll get less points from champs like Shamael or Uugo, simce they're kind of necessary in a manner, those aren't punished as much sincs they don't add a huge amount of damage.
    Also the highest dealing gets assigned the highest multiplier.
    They could also add multipliers to lower rarities so that if you can make an oddball team work, it allows more players to contribute or just plain rewards ingenuity.

    All they need to do for hydra clash is something I suggested forever ago. Apply a normalization curve weight to the scores. Depending on the weight, it would still allow some people to carry, but it woudl also put a lot more emphasis on participation of your entire clan. Nice, simple, and they don't have to worry about all these broken strategies popping up all the time. Just changing the harder difficulties to be worth more only works so long as there aren't broken strategies for them.

    I liked a lot of your ideas Nub, always thinking deep in these situations. I think it's going to be really difficult for them to do this properly, I think the easiest way is to put a damage cap on everything, not just max HP dmg champs, but raise that cap to maybe 20%. I have Trunda, Emic, etc. to be able to make a Trunda team, but I just haven't because I can't be bothered (I'm just lazy) to Manual 2+ hours on a Hydra battle, and I don't have the gear needed to be able to hit those insane numbers. While it's rewarding to those that do, it is a problem that needs to be addressed.
    I personally rely on an Ally attack team for Normal (Cardiel+Padraig+Skraank+Rathalos), a copy of your Razelvarg/Shamael/Visix team for Brutal, and an Acrizia/Artak/Ukko/Duchess team for NM, and I push around 1.5-2 bilion clash points. So any changes likely wouldn't affect me too much, but I'm willing to put in the work to make new teams to adapt to whatever changes are made so my clan can at least compete in Hydra Clash somewhat once whatever changes are implemented.

    For decapitation if they lower the damage they could reset turn meter when decapitated an head. Right now keep the same turnmeter as the head, that will be a nice balance to improve the time and head is decapitated

    1 mil damage cap would affect Rathalos as well who is one of the more accessible champions.
    I wouldn't touch decapitation damage, that just nerfs everyone and for lower end players that's the only time we get to deal relevant damage and probably the only time we feel good during Hydra.
    I would modify the multiplier of the damage so that people are more incentivised to go into Brutal and NM Hydra instead of Normal/Hard - unsure how to tackle the Trunda problem still.

      I think she should go back to being a "vault guardian" as so many people are complaining about. Its a little ridiculous as for most people trunda is still more than serviceable as an arena nuker, and wave clear specialist. Only place she doesnt work is the higher end of arena(where most people are not at) the argument of oh no if they make her a2 not busted for hydra shes useless is only viable for people who werent going to use her anyway.

    I feel like the adjustment needs to focus on hydra clash. If the change makes it tougher for weekly hydra chests, that'll be frustrating.
    I think we should forget hydra clash points multiplying the damage I have done. Use point thresholds. Give me a certain amount of points for the damage I have done. And then, if I got over some number, let's say 500 mil damage, I would never get more than 100 points towards clash or something.

    Double yumeko fuels the trunda engine for these insane teams. I don’t see much discussion on her getting nerfed. Someone tell me why Kymar can’t reset another Kymar, but yumeko can reset her clone.

      All voids seem to be able to reset each other. As for kymar and yumeko are concerned their resets at not the same or equal. Kymars resetting kymars would create an infinite loop of resets. Yumekos have about a 2 turn cooldown in between rests. Don’t own any of these champs but trying to be objective how trundra not the problem when she out damage the next damage dealer by significant amount. 32:28

    1:04 for the rewards, what about they collapse everything, and then the clan as a whole gets a chest based on their total points earned. Then, clans can then set cut-off damage before you receive the chest.

    Trunda's conditional AoE hit should literally do 60% damage no further modifiers, crit damage etc has already been calculated for the hit.

    I always hit the low difficulty, I like your idea about point scoring in hydra clash but I would go very aggressive with doubling points so it's 1x 4x 8x 16x 32x etc and about the hydra am i missing something here with our struggles with hydra we have to endure a harder difficulty because of 5% of players.. if that happens I don't waste an hour of my life for every hydra run

    I think they need to hard cap the damage per player and use turn count to that max damage to be the tie breaker. All of these manual teams are still hitting cap, potentially less time of their lives are spent on this content, more people in the clan need to participate rather than one person carrying the entire clan. You can still make your teams better by getting them faster to cap.

    Max Hp damage is capped at 10% but regular damage is not! Its crazy to think that Acrizia does WAY lower damage than Trunda or Turvolt or others vs a boss. They need max hp damage cap raised and put a cap on damage overall on hydra

      I dson't think this is the solution. Many kraken accounts are using Trunda teams on Nightmare. All this does is hurt people who have the team but can't do it on Nightmare.

    They nerfed tf out of Poison, nerfed HP Burn, nerfed Max HP - they should either cap regular damage in the same way (feels bad) - or nerf it a little and relax the nerfs on the first three, let them do more and then more people can be competitive

    I think a simpler fix is making 1 shotting heads impossible. Yea trunda teams will still be impossible to beat but they would have to still deal with hydra mechanics and that’s fair enough for me
    Also this videos makes want to push for upping the cap on enemy max hp champs

    Make the final reward in brutal difficulty immortal soulstone and nightmare eternal soulstone. mortal soulstones for every difficulty doesnt make any sense.

    1 mln damage cap is really aggressive. My two NM nuker hits hard, like alaz up to 2mln per A2 hit and Ma'shalled for 1.5mln with A1. 1mln will drop drastically my NM score, that high damage help to keep all head dead, decrasing that probably will score 50% or less damage

    I think they should find another way to do Hydra without affecting these Trunda builds because people spent way to much money and resources to do it because they said it was not broken. And no I don’t have Trunda. They should have fixed it soon as it happened instead of letting it go.

    higher difficulties definitely do not reward players enough both in terms of points or loot.
    also i think your idea of making freshly respawned heads immune to damage is flawed as it would punish less progressed players. if a head respawns and immediately devours a champion, you lose entirely one whole head turn on breaking them free whereas with a damage reduction you can still make progress at getting them out during that first turn of devoured

    I just get the top chest in NM, Brutal, and Hard and then stop thinking about Hydra for a week. I have scored 1billion in clash over my 3 keys, but it takes so much work that I don’t bother any more. Clash essentially doesn’t exist for me.

    I'd like to maybe have mischief only steal 1~2 buffs instead of all, but have them be protected instead of increasing duration when spread. Unfortunately, that doesn't do anything for the acelin/ironclad setup. It'll probably end up just being a much lower damage cap :/

    You have come up with some excellent suggestions….but there is only really one issue: Trunda is ruining the CvC clash.
    So, nerf one champ….or change a million and one things.
    Sometimes the most simple answer is the best.

    Solution: Do away with Hydra Clash!!! Problem solved. Reward every player some type of reward for doing the content, like you do already, except this time do it with the extra rewards, the more you score the you receive, each difficulty better rewards, k.i.s.s ( keep it simple stupid). People are complaining because they are doing Hydra for those rewards only, and not getting anything! The whales and krakens keep getting better and everyone else is stuck in Raid purgatory. Unless we just gonna nerf every champion in the game, because at this rate that’s what’s finna happen. So reward everyone for doing the content and trying to get better at it.

    if they cap damage, then we need to do tons of regearing, and dumb regearing where you will be gearing damage dealers with non damage gear, to increase speed and survivability, and it will hurt the damage they do elsewhere

    You are crazy if you think changing the points multiplier like that is a good idea lol, you were almost right. Put primal in nm and brutal like cb, maybe even slayer artifacts or something push people to go higher also half the people going on about these broken teams probably haven't seen them, I've seen them once or twice since clash started

    The opposite end of the Trunda A2 argument, if I hit for 100k, i would expect the second hit to do 60k. If you want to remove the damage bonus portion being multiplied again, then it is only logical to remove the negative multipliers (DEF, Strengthen, etc). I dont see anyone complaining that the second hit takes defensive multipliers into consideration when arguing about Trunda.

    I’m very strongly against any nerfing of Trunda or other high damage teams. Those teams are quite fun when it’s not Uber Kraken levels. I’m pretty much done if they nerf Trunda. I spent an entire year saving resources to get her souls to just sniff a billion damage.
    The only solution is to give rewards 1-5 and let it be as is.
    The issue is with Kraken accounts and clans. They created this problem so they can deal with it. Any fix will result in a work around. Why keep screwing over the little guys-nerds to Cadaver, madman etc.
    there decision will likely decide if I quit after 5 years or keep playing but if it’s a nerf to Trunda I’m done.

      The actual problem is that the people crying the loudest are the CC’s who’s are in the 1%. Most people will never see a 100 billion damage key from a trunda against them in clash.

    Feels like everyone's theories are over-complicating this greatly. You've got an exponential point curve and what to normalize the points somewhat? Make the points scale logarithmically with damage. Done. End of story forever, every time some team gets out of hand the team will get higher scores, but not exponentially higher scores, so the whale gets to be happy coz they can still chase more points and the regular player gets to be happy coz 1 kraken can't out-score 4 clans.

      Exactly, I was surprised to not see anyone speak about using logarithmic formula (not necessarily a base 10 one) to solve the issue.
      This is a easy solution used a lot in science to normalize numbers.

    i agree with just upping the multipliers on brutal and nightmare. down here at the lower level i have yet to see a crazy trunda team on brutal or higher. some dude just did 9 billion on normal with a trunda team . i think my 800 mill on nightmare should give me more points than him lol

    Multiplies my guess is 1x, 3x, 6x, 10x, and if they add ultra nm 15x
    On the champs, capping extra damage much like the max hp damage. Feels like it would cover most issues with one simple rule. The iffy bit is how the game has it programmed. Can they add a check and cap at the end of the multiplication, or is it does as the damage lands. The fact is if they cap it all thpugh, then the numbers will have a fairly even max, where speed is really the only factor that can increase damage. A situation of more turns being the only way to make more damage

    The biggest underlying problem with Raid has always been the reluctance to fix problems. If trunda was fixed years ago the problem today wouldn’t be here. Plarium is too analytical with their responses. Taking them this long to address that clans that get 4/5 place to get rewards for still putting up what ever the number could be. Finally nerfing the bosses of IT, sand devil and shogun. Those are changes that should have happened maybe a month or 2 after release. Introducing a boss with new mechanics and having such small amounts of champions that can address it is ridiculous. The mentality that well maybe they will add a champion down the road that can do it is down right stupid thinking

    You could have hydra only takes emhp dmg from splash as a cap and can only steal 10% of max hp shields gets rid of the two teams that had been referred too

    I have a turvold in 6 piece merciless and 6star crushing rend but he is not empowered (only have that single copy i got when he was garateed for 80 shards), i have screenshot of him doing 3.6 mil on 1 of his hits of the a3, on a decapitaded head but it was on hard, cant get those numbers on nm yet, but certainly the krakens with better gear than me and +4 turvold can. But even so that is 1 hit that varies from 2 to 3.6 mil depending on helmsmasher procs, ammount of buffs, debuffs and ect, it is hard to setup and single hit. You cant really compare him with trunda when she has 2 big aoes.

    Damage capping on hydra heads literally destroys yannica and ironclad teams because they are one hit buster while trunda could still a2 over and over and over and over and over. Wont fix it.

    Hydra reward is also really bad, there's not much of a difference between higher difficulty and the lower one, also the main reward as of now is literally in Hydra Clash, which most people want to get... they really need to add those bigger soul stones for higher difficulty, but Plarium greed is bigger, so there's that... I can 1 key nightmare and Brutal, but why would I do that if I can smash the hell out of Normal and Hard and get a chance of the Hydra Clash

    The funniest part about the whole Nerfing conversation to me is the idea that if you did this, it would change the ultimate result of clash. The accounts that can do the crazy Trunda nightmare teams are just going to do something else that is going to still beat every other team, that’s the difference in power between accounts. What difference does it make if you lose by 10 billion or 100 billion? The only way that would change is if you institute crazy damage caps that will make everyone just abandon the game mode entirely.

    the only problem has been the clash that is all it is. So put a max cap out how much clash points 1 person can get problem solved no one champs gets NERFED its just you cant have 1 person do 95% of the clan clash points cause they have the op champs for patch.

    if im dooing 2b on NM and 2.2b on brutal there realy no reason unless your point is to make my NM team all biss champs and do 2.5 and then do 1.5b on brutal with lack on champs cus making it x4/x8 thats what it will do idk how much use this gona give the game

    instead of the 2nd hit having all the math applied to it. just leave it as the 60% of the first hit. (800k in your example).
    that's how you fix trunda, since that's how the ability reads at first glance.

    We just need a point system. thats it. so there is a max and then for every X amount of dmg you do.. you get 1 more point.. and make it so it will be close instead of losing by 50b.. its super silly.

      My best team 1k hard. Second best - 1k normal. I didn't bother to build properly for hydra. All champions are in the builds suited for other areas

    I said a long time ago that as max hp nukers are restricted to 10% max hp damage, just make all damage from any source 10% max hp. This will equalise all damage dealers. Alternatively, change the heads so no more than 10% ignore defence works. This will not fix Trunder or shield teams, but it will lower the damage considerably, but if it's not going to fix 2 issues including the biggest why bother. Make heads immune to decapitation for 2 of their turns when they respawn, or give them a poison cloud for 2 turns, or both lol. Do all of these and you will have no one playing ;)

      It's a really good point you both make. The fact that there is a cap already, it should apply to all damage. Raise the cap if you want, but make it equivalent.

      @@vladimirduran237 My solution is not to nerf any damage dealer. My solution is to cap the heads. You will still need bonkers gear to make regular damage dealers hit max hp, so where is the nerf to "every damage dealer" This will soft nerf those few champs that are broken, 1 in particular. She will still hit 10% every time. This will also cancel out any future quirks too. It's a solution that brings some sort of parity.
      What's your solution? Easy to criticise especially if you have nothing to offer yourself. Find a better solution than giving a level playing field and I'll give it a thumbs up. Otherwise try looking at the big picture and not just your own account.

      @@Dharin.that absolutely nerfs every damage dealer because most well built regular damage dealers in Hydra hit for way more than 10% of the enemy’s max HP. My Michinaki hits for 1.3m on a decapitated head in NM. You want a solution. Leave the champs alone and fix the matchmaking. Put the clans that have the 100 billion plus teams against one another and leave the rest alone.

    Having those multiples for the difficulties will just cause a bigger problem for clans that still can't do nightmare and have 1 opponent just blast a whole clan out of the water. You literally just make a new problem for mid to low clans being punished more and more. Hey, everyone is a trunda for anyone that can't do nightmare... great idea, NOT !!!

    Even if you changed the multipliers, what's to stop a clan doing their best on Brutal, but unable to do crap on Nightmare, from getting stomped by 1 person absolutely destroying them with a single Nightmare key.
    And I'll say again. Trunda is not the problem. The problem is Hydra Clash. Incentivizing "cheese" strats. You remove Trunda, you'll just get a Trunda 2.0 doing the same amount of ridiculous damage, and the cycle will repeat: nerf Trunda 2.0, she's broken, she's the problem, blah, blah blah. And that Trunda math is just absurd. Your average player is not going to be coming close to that. The perception is very much, that this is a 1-percenter problem.
    Saphyrra's suggestion about new heads being immune to getting killed before taking a turn, remains my favorite suggestion. It means you have to deal with hydra mechanics or possibly have your team collapse due to a fear, provoke, etc.

    Plarium always uses the term "works as intended", BUT Trunda's A2 has never worked as intended. Should have been fixed long ago.

    The easiest solution is to cap the points, not the damage. My clan should not be going up against multi billion point clans from literally 2 people. Whoever hits the cap the fastest, and with the least champs, gets top position. Keeps Clash competitive without breaking champions.

    Totally disagree with boosting nightmare points! Because that's a straight up boost of the pay to win players, and widening the gap between competitors. Also another power creep in a bad way. On top of it you want to spread your key's!!!

    Why not just make it so you cant score more points than the hydra has health? Normal has 340 million hp so how about you can score more than 340 million points? The matter of having these uber teams means you just get it done quicker rather than carrying your clan to victory.

    16x for nightmare is a terrible idea. Sure if you can get a good score on NM then that's great. But what about the players that can only get a good score on normal. They are completely negated. Your teams are OP and built great, not to mention you have the champs. Lame AF.

    That power that little dwarf has, smh. 900 champs in the game, most of them completely useless, but Plarium doesn't dare to adjust 1 specific champ and bring it down a touch? I get it, the Trunda cry-babies make a lot of noise, and Plarium freaks out about it, but the number of players who would REEEEEALLLY prefer to have a balanced game instead is so much larger. We just don't make as much noise as those cry-babies.

    I'm f2p and have been playing for over 3 years. I don't think Trunda is broken, I can barely get over 1 million damage on normal. I think the problem is the krakens being able to build champions with 10,000 atk and 400 crit damage, there should be a cap limit. If they nerf Trunda, then the krakens will just build someone else

      The thing is that the next best thing is billions and billions down, to a level where “normal” teams can actually compete. Yes, of course endgame players have better gear than you, but Trunda is what allows that gear to be as absurd as it is, and ruins the competitive aspect for any endgame clans.

    When you got a playstation, you went for one of the most challenging games Elden Ring. That game is about eating insanely overpowered opponents, as all soulsbound games are. But in this - if there's a challenge, you want to ruin other people's stuff - you, I guaranteed, ruined people's infinity teams that were getting UNM for their clans, now you want to ruin trunda for other people's teams - why not work on something new to try to take it on? I guarantee there is another team that can take it on - I said that with cadaver and they found trunda teams when it was taken away

    Brogni was the OG Wixwell, so yeah, you cvould with Brogni before Wixwell came along and made it a better strat. Brogni was part of the original unkillable team.
    Is that why people don't use Gnut? because he's an EMHP champ? that makes sense, that puts a cap on the damage he can do.
    I don't get the tippy toeing with this. Just go in and nerf Trunda, do a whole rework on her, why tweek everything else, screwing up the game for every other champion as well, JUST to nerf Trunda? just nerf her and be done with it. Sure, people that just pulled her or people that will pull her after the nerf will be bummed for a while, but that is the nature of the beast. I don't know why Plarium are afraid of nerfing Legendaries. Other game companies have never been afraid to nerf the popular stuff and people still play their game. this reeks of people pleasing.
