The "weird face shields" are all from Fantasy World by Soma, the rare MOTU copycat line that isn't stealing Sungold's molds in some capacity (though Soma would then pull a Sungold and reuse the molds for wrestlers and ninjas)
Thank you! I've looked at Fantasy World before and was sure I'd seen those shields before but I couldn't remember which line it was.
Maybe Phelous can look at those next time while he's stoned again.

And after a final skit, he says, “The rest… is silence…”
He passes away, and we pan to a remaining, familiar figure.
“Ah… Baltard happy at last.”
The He-Man one looks like a buff Luke Skywalker.
Hench Skywalker is more like it.

As a Mexican man, I’m very sorry that this had to be made much like the bootleg TMNT figures. I just think that seeing them like they’re selling them at a local flea market much like any other bootleg with no effort put into detail.

As a lifelong MOTU collector and more recent devotee to Galaxy Warriors, I just live how ever-weirder the Galaxy hole gets - it's the hole that just keeps on giving. These ironically also send things slightly full circle, as GWs were originally a cheap-but-charming MOTU knock-off to begin with. At first I presumed the paint apps on these had been added by a "creative" young previous owner 'til I realised... wow that's some bad paint work. Makes just about everything above them in the Galaxy Hole look like they were decked out by Rembrandt himself.
But to hell with all that... if Sun Man is now embraced by Mattel as part of the "proper" Masters of the Universe brand, I am so down for a Mattel Masterverse "Baltard" Comic Con exclusive next year!!

There's something satisfying about seeing ko Galaxy figures being put on ko He Man bodies. Like if the galaxy hole has finally come full circle 😂 Although I wish they straight up bootlegged Beast Man's body and put Anubi's head on it. Honestly that would probably work pretty well. I assume they had one too since they copied his armor bits.
NASA has to keep updating their telescopes in order to get the full magnitude of the Galaxy Hole
As a kid Mexican bootlegs, rip-offs and authorized varients (like Kid Acero, though I didnt know of that one until recently) we my favorite; they were part expanded universe part paralled Earth doubles. Though somenof these wouldve just beennightmare fuel.
I love the return to the Galaxy Hole! It brings all franchises together!

The weird thing is as a kid I'm sure I remember seeing these knock off figures here and there at flea markets or various local/corner stores.
But I never did buy any, it just wasn't really my thing. And yet all this time later watching this I'm fascinated by the craziness.

This is BS, I grew up with bootleg mexican Thunder Cats, Masters of the Universe, Power Rangers adn Dragoin Ball, and yeah they were obviously lower quality than the originals but fuck me those things look like they ahve already been playd with for decades.
