- Roger Hawkes, Chief Medical Officer, European Tour Performance Institute, and Doug Campbell, Wrist and Hand Surgeon, Leeds Teaching hospitals NHS Trust, guide you through examining the wrist.

Please come to the U.S.and help doctors here understand how to do an examination of the wrist. They seem adverse to touching the body part that needs examined. Plus they are watching the clock -- in and out in as little time as possible.
Yes, just came front a disappointing exam. I had to show him before he left my exam where the pain in wrist
Very nice and helpful
Awesome video!
Thank You very much, very helpful.
جزاكم الله كل خير💖
Thank you
I have it all 😭 TFCC in my right hand and now starting in my left hand as well. and tendon problem again in the right hand together with TFCC in right hand - I am only 42 years old, I wight 52KG and I am not tall, I am 5 feet and 2 inches. I know I have not injured my hands, I type a lot sometimes, and do moderate exercise, but yeah I have picked up and carried a lot of heavy weight grocessary, and other things doing errands, all my life, until this pain started like almost 2 years ago and even then I did not stop carrying and picking up heavy things. 😭
Yes, thank you for showing what an exam should look like. Just came from disappointing exam. Surprisingly no such focus on my painful wrist.. Finally I had to tell him where the pain was before he left the exam and asked what it might be😲! So sad....
Very helpful

my doctor checked my wrist for 10 seconds and from 1m apart 😥😥😥😥...

How can you tell if you dislocated yourswelling bruising if your wrist is dislocated
I am badly suffering for this
Everytime I work veryhard its very painful
Thorough for the medial wrist, but not so the lateral wrist (in anatomical position). I fell hard onto concrete on my left side. My thenar joint took the brunt of the fall, severely hyperextending. Light bruising across the back of my hand, around my thumb, and about 1/3 way towards my elbow took about 5 days to appear and to exit. Within a few days, I had full range of motion again, but cannot actually use my hand unless it is held rigidly straight - then I can use it like a club or with my fingers curled, like a hook. Trying to use my hand in any other way results in a feeling of sharp, painful weakness in a thin band around my wrist and around my thumb. I think this must be a sprained wrist and has be a fairly common injury. Perhaps you could add an addendum to your video covering sprains.
Would you do that if you suspected a fracture? One would think you would be used to getting a good kick if so
The asmr is strong on that one
Is any surgery to increase wrist size
THANKS ,, HELPFUL
Tell me doc. Will I ever lift again?
Don't lift.it will go to previous same condition.
Hi there,
2 years ago I was doing a 500 push ups under 45 minutes exercise and started feeling pain in ulnar side wrist, after few months of a pause when I got back to training the pain was increasing,it gets worse when I do push up like exercise or weight bearing on wrist, ultra sound showed nothing and no swelling either, for 2 years I struggle with this,is there a treatment for this?
Thanks.
I'm dealing with the exact same thing. Have you gotten any answers?

@@hauerlowe3431 I have lost a lot of flexibility in my wrist. It is ruining my workout life. Push ups, mountain climbers, cleans, push press etc. I hate it!! I don't know how to fix it.
@@hauerlowe3431 where in your wrist does it hurt the most? After some research, mine looks like a tfcc injury. Mine hurts on the pinky side.
@@lovelandgirl1494 mine hurts on pinky side too but after i streched it for some time it moved towards the middle. After 2 months not excercising the pain was almost completely gone but theres always that tendernes and as soon as i start training i feel it and it is really frustrating.
