안녕하세요 삭입니다. 이번 작품은 뉴트를 위한 팔루다리움입니다:)
작업을 겨울에 했는데 어쩌다 보니 다른 영상들이 먼저 올라갔네요...ㅎㅎ
엑소테라 60*45*60사육장에 조명, 미스팅, 물순환이 들어간 작품입니다.
물 나오는 거 설치하는 장면이 촬영되지 않았네요...졸졸졸 나오는 저 물은, 물 나오는 저 코르크 튜브 속으로 출수구를 빼서 스펀지를 이용해서 물을 부드럽게 만들었습니다:)

1- what kind of moss do you use?
2- the black filter that goes to the pump, do you have to change it once in a while?

4- what kind of roots and wood are you using? from what tree or plant?

thank you. It is used to make a filter box. The mesh is used to keep residue from entering.
Would you be willing to make a video about how you set up your lids with the lights and misting? I'm curious if you connect with the waterfall pump, do you have a mesh screen for ventilation or just acrylic glass?
The fog generator works just by submerging it 3 cm in water. The lighting is in the old video. The waterfall can come out using a hose or you can use a stainless steel mesh.

안녕하세요 정말 영상 잘보고있습니다. 따라하기로 마음먹고 수십번을 보고 어제 작업을 했습니다... 처절하게실패... 벽부분을 우레탄폼고 실리콘 도포후 흙을 뿌려 발랐는데.. 물을뿌리고 나이 깨끗하게 다 떨어져 나가 버렸어요... 혹시 죄송하지만 노하우가 있을가요 흙의 종류등....
안녕하세요 ㅎㅎ!! 실리콘이 마르는데 1일정도가 걸리지만 겉면은 몇분만 지나도 살짝 마르면서 접착성이 조금씩 떨어지기 시작합니다. 그리고 노하우라면 피트모스는 바싹 완전 바싹 말려서 사용하셔야합니다!

Curious how long something like this lasts using these construction techniques, and how it scales in size.
Can the same (or similar) construction techniques be used on something larger (like 2+ cubic meters?) and actually be expected to last a few years?
It can be considered semi-permanent depending on management!

Can I just ask how you avoid stem rot on your jewel orchids? I already lost 2 and I noticed it on a third today :( I use a substrate mix that's supposed to work well in a terrarium setup, it stays moist but not soggy and at first the orchids thrived then suddenly the stems started rotting and I couldn't save them. Any advice? Thanks! 😊
Orchids don't like to have their roots wet all the time. They like to have a dry period from time to time
@@ChrisMintjes this is sort of why I ask 😀 I always see in these videos how they hose everything down and although jewels supposedly like their soil "consistently moist, but not soggy", after such thorough watering, peat moss will definitely become "soggy". The leaves get also very wet, which I hear is also not great, and in a terrarium with no active ventilation I wonder how it can ever dry as it should...
That's a cool answer. Air humidity is maintained between 70% and 90%. However, periodically open the cover during the day to allow the orchids and moss to dry out. The orchid should be wet and dry repeatedly.

It is good to dry it for 2 to 4 days.
항상 잘보고있습니다~ 영상에서 화산석깔고 부직포 위에 흙을 올리셨는데, 물과 흙 거리가 좁아도 식물들한테는 과습이 안오나요~?
감사합니다 ㅎㅎ! 배수층과 흙과의 거리를 물과 더 띄울 수록 좋긴합니다! 물과 직접 닿지 않아서 흙이 촉촉한 정도로 유지 되는데 과습은 늘 지켜보면서 관리해주어야죠 ㅜㅜ 과습이 오면 흙을 더 쌓아 올리던지 화산사를 조금더 깔아주고 올려주면 됩니다!
이런 구상을 어떻게 하시는지,,,정말 대단하세요 :) 저도 꼭 한 번 팔루다리움 도전해보고 싶은데 망치지 않을지,,
걱정이 되네요...ㅎ 궁금한 점이 있는데 나중에 식물들이 무성하게 자라면 어떻게 관리를 해줘야 하나요??
감사합니다! 자라는 식물들은 주기적으로 트리밍해주어야합니다. 그래서 이끼 외 식물을 심을때는, 천천히 자라는 식물을 심는 것이 처음에는 조금 비어보여도 나중을 생각하면 훨씬 더 아름답고 관리도 편해요:) 단 천천히 자라는 식물들이 비싸죠 ㅋㅋㅋ

You job are so , so beautiful, great job. I try to create first paludarium 45x45x60, I organize now all staf but i Have some questions about your solutions:
1. What kind of black silicone you use because? it looks like very sticky because after few minutes wood is stuck
2. After using black silicone you cover it buy normal earth , or this is some mix?
3. What about filtration of water, I'm creating waterfall with fogger but i'm worry about clear water, biological filtration is enough or you have some special idea for water (like external filter etc)
4. Last question you prepare before wood special, like being , clear etc?
I will be very glad for answer.

1. Non-acetic acid silicone is used. It must be attached with completely dry material, and it must be dried for about 2 days.
2. Use only non-acetic acid silicon!
3. We made our own filter box so that it can be managed from the back. Filtration is good to be sure.

thank you. It usually dries in a day. I apply silicone and let it dry for 3 days.

may i know what kind of substance is that which is black coloured one, which u put before the cocopeat?
Correct me if i am wrong, the black substance is regular black silicone (animal safe), and its peat moss not cocopeat. As cocopeat is acidic in nature, not nutrient rich and not too good for the pet animal that is going to live in there.
