    The car that nearly killed tommy kendal. imsa gtp cars were making way more downforce than their european counterparts in group c. American tracks are generally shorter and tighter. Tommy had a suspension failure heading into the outer loop at watkins glen due to the massive loads that car could create. After that crash the bus stop was added to the track

    I can't believe that most of the actual engines sounds so dull compared to the agressives engines from those Group C/IMSA GTP cars

      7.4L Katech-build Chevy V8 making around 800 HP. It was actually designed for an even more powerful Judd V10, but Chevrolet offered them factory support and since it was technically a "stock" block, they got a weight break as well.
