Yes, it really is a practical bag! Much more practical than I had expected 😊 and it’s also pretty low-maintenance. The YSL WOC is gorgeous and is also such a classic, and I think in a few years, I’ll invest in the YSL one mainly as a formal event kind of bag 😆

WOW that method you did tying a ribbon to make the chain shorter is GENIUS not only does it to the trick it relieves the stress on the bag because you double chained the edges to support the weight

awesome review, loved the outfits in the beginning! i had the same thoughts about the marmount vs dionysus when i first got into handbags and i also purchased the super mini marmount BUT i just love the dionysus so much. do you think it would fit sunglasses nicely and not squish them?
Thanks for watching, Megan! I think sunglasses would fit (the flatter ones), but I wouldn’t recommend it. I feel like they might break.
I got it yesterday in Milan and I love it! I usually stick to more elegant “classic” style with bags, more formal, as you called the YSL, but there is something about the GG Canvas and this bag style, and I consider the GG canvas classic, too, and I don’t find it flashy or tacky. It has a touch of modern elegance mixed with vintage ❤️

I love this bag but I have being debating on purchasing this bag because I don’t know this will be classic bag or if is going to look Tacky.
I’m not a fan of Gucci but I looooove how this bag!
This bag has been out since 2015 and it has become part of Gucci’s permanent collection. I do think it is a classic. I love how this bag looks but was worried about it looking tacky as well! If you’re worried about the tackiness from the monogram, maybe try going for the leather one? That one has no logo and just a solid color 😊

@@imlena4001 I have decided on the black/gold 😊The beige one is stunning, but it wouldn't be wise to spend this much on a light colour every day bag, it would get ruined in no time 🙈 I hope I can use it like any other bag and not baby it. I feel wear and tear give them more character and a vintage vibe, but tbh I'll probably be super nervous with the bag haha. I can see myself wearing the bag with the logo on the inside in situations where I don't want to draw attention...

Hey Kendra, I have been wearing it more as a crossbody than a shoulder bag/clutch. And no complaints yet! I think out of all of my bags I carry this one out the most, especially during the warmer seasons. Hope this helps and thanks for watching! 😊

Thank you!! I had to think about it for a few days because this was filmed a while ago haha. I used a combination of two lip glosses. I used this red lip gloss from Rinna Beauty called Hustle and then muted the redness with another light pink lip gloss from Ulta.
I was wondering if this wallet on chain is heavy after a long day outside?
Great question! I don’t typically wear strapless or thin-strap tops when I head out with this bag. There’s always some fabric between my skin and the chain, so after a long day, it doesn’t pinch into my skin or feel heavy. However, it really depends on how much you carry in your bag. Also, I’m accustomed to carrying years of heavy totes to school so this little baby is nothing compared to those, haha 😂

Thanks so much! It’s not too heavy with things inside, but it also depends on what you want to carry! If you have a lot of coins then it will definitely be heavy 😊
Does the chain strap bother your bare skin at all? I'm worried it will be uncomfortable in the summer on my shoulder!
Hmm that’s a good question. I don’t typically wear just a strapless or thin-strapped top out so I can’t remember how it felt on my bare skin. I would imagine it could get pretty hot from the sun. As for the weight though, I think it should be ok because it’s a WOC and you can’t carry too many things in there anyways to make it heavy. Hope this helps!

do you think it could fit sunglasses without a case?
It depends on what kind you have. I have a slightly flatter pair of sunglasses and they fit, but I wouldn’t put them in the bag because I’m afraid they might get crushed.
I like the size of this bag, but it’s a wallet I would like to buy it if it’s only one big compartment. The small size of Dionysus is more of a square shape which I don’t like. I like Dionysus but just in the right size and meet what I need. ☹️ why don’t they make the small one with the shape like the wallet but in a real bag instead?
Yes, I totally get what you mean. Maybe that’s their tactic. If you want no compartment, get the slightly bigger and more expensive one 🤣

Yes I have an iPhone 11, which fits, and I think the size of the 8 is similar so it should as well.
