I get most of my K'nex from Amazon and ebay. They have special K'nex for younger kids. The regular sized K'nex might be too difficult for younger kids to snap the pieces together. I started when I was around 10.
I use a connector as a wedge with a gear connected to the chain. When the train passes over the wedge, it releases the connector from the gear. It's a little hard to explain, but you can see it better in my Donkey Kong video.
Fun to watch it go around and around!
Thanks! It was a pain to reset the launches everytime haha.
This is amazing! The quality of your work just keeps getting better!
Thank you! I decided to try out a new editing style for this video. Glad you liked it!
This is actually insane. Great coaster and great video
Thank you! It took over an hour of filming and editing for every five seconds of footage, so I'm glad someone appreciates it.
Awesome unit right there! I love the way you put your videos together as well! The K’Nex snap never gets old.
Thanks! Making all those cuts took me forever since there are so many of them.
what a cool and compact layout😃
Thanks! Compact layouts definitely save on pieces.
Amazing! Great video
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
WHY WAS IT SO FUNNY🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣7:38
It's fun seeing the trains fly off the track!
Very cool video! must have been a lot of work to make, nice coaster too, i like the automatic launches !
Thanks! The video editing was a lot of work but worth it in the end.
This is fantastic!
Thank you! This was my favorite build yet!
Where is the best place to buy a set for this? And for what age is it recommended for?

how fast can you make these launches go
Both launches are pretty much at their max strength. Any more and the rubber band would snap.
Do you have to reset the launch every time?
Yes, it's a manual launch.
How do you make the launch?

imagine getting stuck two times....6:38 and 8:10
Snapped rubber bands are always annoying to replace.
how does the launch mechanism work
I used a rubber band. You can see how it works better in my latest video Labyrinth.
