Haha I thought this style top flattened me out (even more than usual lol) so I wasn't sure if it even looked good on me. It looked much better on the model online🤣👙 I'll keep everyone updated on the polar plunge!
Truck driver tip: When you hook up the pigtail for the lights and 'something doesn't work', unplug BOTH end of the pigtail (if possible), and use a spray bottle of Windex, and spray BOTH recepticles. Let it drain off for a minute or two, then plug it in, and check those functions again. Good Luck!
Thanks! Mike's been super busy with work so I didn't want to bother him with another task when I could just get it done myself, as long as I could get the tow bar to work haha
Shoulder showing please! Love to see that post cold water plunge view 😘 My Sister in law used to participate in Special Olympics. Great organization. Nice job getting the rig and keep home!
For lifting the top off and replacing it. a hydraulic engine crane, aka as a cherry picker is the cats pajamas. Removing becomes a one person job. For your tow bar, fully extend the arm and spray some WD-40, then compress and extend the arm, while removing all of the crud that gets inside. After three or four in-out cycles, if it's going to work, you'll see changes pretty quickly. The only way to keep the piston and seal area clean is to install something like a long travel shock absorber boot assembly.
I was headed to Nashville from Pigeon Forge when my back injury started to bother me so we came home instead. As I get older I realize that no trip is a sure thing. Hope you get to test out the Wraith very soon.
I have a similar issue with my 10 year old Roadmaster tow bar. I find if you rotate the cylinder as you are pulling out or retracting the cylinders it will move easier. Also, some silicone spray on the cylinders helps. Now if the cylinders are bent as Mike indicated, you’re screwed. Replace them. 😢
We love your Nighthawk and yes, a couple of times because of grades or angels it can get tight on the coupling to the Jeep so as Mike did, I just put the Jeep in gear and push a bit, problem solved. Shoulders showing looks great unless of course it well falls a bit too low, well on second thought... Oh I am in trouble now.
Yep we are well aware, however it's not worth it because we almost never take the hard top off at home because Mike's Jeep is soft top and has the top and doors off most of the year haha
It rained once we hit Indiana and pretty much rained the entire rest of the night haha but we are used to it. We're just out here helping to end droughts🤣
Happy to have the RV back but still need to get the leveling system replaced.😩 Happy the puddle was from what we just did maintenance on and not something new going to crap haha
Hey, is that a roadmaster tow bar? I prefer Blue Ox had better luck with them. A note on spa's if its inside get a spa with none wood frame as they will rot and mold. as for tow bar i have added a light off my hitch connector and it lights my tow bar.
You look awesome either way and I would donate for a plunge to clear my conscious. I keep listening for the sound of a Wrath speeding up on my direction
Either way you wear the top looks good to me, but I especially like the color. Glad you got the Wraith back, now I'm wondering if I have a recall I'm not aware of on my Ghost. What year is your Wraith? Keep the good stuff coming guys and give the puppies a treat for me.
If you do a plunge, wear the emerald-green and blue sparkle suit from the Nashville episode. As far as your new suit, I like it on top of the shoulder for some reason (?!?).
Lynn you make it look to easy to hook up the Jeep! We are holding off for now on our toad, but Jeep has a 6k off list price running this month and that is making it really hard not buy one... they hardly ever a rebates on Jeeps Wranglers 😮
I like off the shoulders on top looks more natural in my opinion. Glad it wasn't the dogs making a puddle haha...Also my dad has bmw Z3 with hard top he installed a pulley to take the top off and it also stores it as well.
Thanks, I believe it's supposed to be off the shoulders but when I look at myself it looked wrong so I had to try and ask for others opinions😂👙 Honestly it would have been a much easier process if it was a dog puddle lol There are some hard top removal and storage systems but this worked in a pinch to see if it was worth it. Might be easier to get a soft top😂
@@WanderingWagners being soaked in full gear in the winter and haveing to stay in gear outside till the event was done..........Lets say I won’t be first in line to do it again. I made my donation goal
I'm more of a Mr. Freeze person than Rudy's for ice cream. But that's an extra 4 mile drive for you guys. Shameless Plug: If you're going to Maumee Bay State Park this time of year, head due south a mile and a half on Curtice Road and get some freshly made donuts, hot sandwiches, and cider slushies at the Fleitz Pumpkin Farm on Seaman Road. 10 AM to 7 PM every day through October 31. Dog friendly.
Shoulders showing looks great and I am sure if it fell off Mike would be happy. Would love to donate to the cold plunge.

Awesome 😎 job getting Jeep hooked up 🎊 🎉 you rock! And as always love the wash jobs! 😊
Appreciate that so much!
Good job, Lynne! Hooking up and driving a big C-class is not easy! Good job!
It's been awhile so it was good practice... And a workout with the tow bar🤣
Good job taking charge and getting the Wraith home and...shoulders down. Absolutely 100%.

Definitely off the shoulder!! if it falls down just make sure you are recording 😂
Definitely wouldn't be on the internet if it happened
Hi both of you. Good job lynn. You do what ever feels right to you. Stay safe and see you in the next one.🫶👍🇬🇧

We have used products on the tow bar... Is just too worn at this point.

Good job 👏 Lynn

@@WanderingWagners your welcome 🙏

Great area!
Yes, do the polar plunge. Do it in a one piece white bathing suit. You will look awesome 👍
I'll be sure to keep everyone updated on when the polar plunge will be👍🏻😊
I have the Roadmaster Nighthawk. Works great and easy to hook up and disconnect.
We definitely agree! We love it and will buy another again

It's been treated with high grade penetrating oil several times and doesn't do much. It's shot and just needs replaced

The bars are so worn that they don't want to move for me, but Mike can wrestle with them and get it to move a little, luckily!
There is a rig to remove the top for about $ 200 it mounts to your ceiling. Or there is a jack but that one is around $600.
Yep we are well aware, however it's not worth it because we almost never take the hard top off at home because Mike's Jeep is soft top and has the top and doors off most of the year haha

Some dielectric grease on the electrical cable. Those pins will oxidize over time....
