  • In 1965, Merle Thornton and Rosalie Bogner chained themselves to a bar rail at the Regatta Hotel in Queensland to protest their right to drink alongside men in public bars. A small protest in the wider fight for women's rights in Australia. #RetroFocus
Thanks to RetroFocus we are looking back on Australia's drinking culture while Shaun Micallef goes on his personal journey to discover the new face of alcohol in Australia. He is confronted by the highs and lows of alcohol consumption and the changing shape of our national pastime. #OnTheSauceTV
