My most complimented is Dior Sauvage and Lhomme Ultime. Sauvage isn't a personal favourite but I keep getting multiple compliments in a day for it. Sometimes I only remember that I'm wearing a fragrance just by someone complementing me.
A compliment getting sleeper for me is Perry Ellis 360 red. I have many pricier ones, but this thing has super powers on my skin. I get compliments all the time, recently got two intense reactions from my professor and dentist. It got humid.
Glad Versace Dylan blue made the list, the amount of compliments I be getting with that Fragrance is ridiculous. If I’m heading to a party or something I just spray that stuff on & the magic happens.
Some reviews ago I’ve written that I like Fahrenheit more than Fahrenheit Parfum. I tried it a couple of times and it didn’t work. As far as I understood at that moment that your choices are almost the same as mine, I’ve bought a bottle even against my opinion... Now I love this scent. It drives me crazy. Is "compliment getting" an American thing? Most Germans seem to enjoy fragrances on others silently except for when they feel the urge to buy something for themselves/significant other. I would like to have more of that sometimes artificial seeming openness in Germany.
Probably so, as small-talk seems to be a thing for folks in the United States, but less so in most European countries. I do understand that staring at unknown people without striking up a conversation is a thing over in Europe whereas here in the US that does not go over well, LOL!
I think it depends upon what part of the country. I live in New York City, and small talk is definitely something we don't waste time on, yet I have no qualms asking a stranger what they're wearing, and strangers have asked me, as well. My favorite scent I found this way is Death Travel by Agatha Blois/Carnival Wax. Not for the meek.
Totally agree on Valour. I can't believe it hasn't really been discovered by Fragcom. You can get it for around $50 now, which also makes it one of the best bang for your buck choices as well.
I have been pulling off the charts feedback with Guerlain vetiver, recently, every time I went to Starbucks this fall the barrista complemented me when I was wearing it without fail, another one that took the warm weather for me was Terre de Hermes eau fraiche, I wore a ton of vetiver this year, now that I think about it, maybe too much

Corrent Aaron, I personally like Dior and especially Bleu blends however Dylan just does it for me every time, it gets me more positive notices, go figure!

Hi, Max! Could you recommend me a few designer fragrances for winter, office work? Somehow Dior Sauvage EDT doesn't bring me that many compliments. The One EDT worked OK for me, but it didn't last and it got really expensive here (the EDP).
From the designer side I'd say Boss The Scent Private Accord, Issey Miyake Noir Ambre, Prada L'Homme Intense, Hermes Terre D'Hermes Parfum, Commes De Garcons Wonderwood (this one is a banger with the ladies). Also worth a look are Bleu De Chanel Parfum and Allure Homme Sport Au Extreme by Chanel. But... my most complimented is one a little on the sweeter side but will have female colleagues hanging around you more than usual, its Stronger With You by Armani. Hope that helps 👍

Great list overall, except for the 1 million. I don't care that it's popular, but on my skin, it's super cloying even in the dead of winter. (And just to give you an idea of how insensitive my nose is, I've rocked Tobacco Vanille outdoors in July with no cares given.) I've given 1 Million three tries going easy on the trigger, and still couldn't wait to get home and wash it off each time. That stuff sticks and projects like a beast all day, which is probably why it gets compliments from those that like the scent.
Eff Ahston yeah and even that doesn't give great performance. Legit bottle I have from a high end dept store, I always buy retail. Clearly just reformed.

Office sent works for me is Tom Ford Grey Vetiver and night time is Azzaro wanted by night.

Love Jazz Club but due to the price I settled with Hugo Boss The Scent Intense. Gives me the same vibe for a third of the price.
