Not quite sure about that Timon. Most heavy weapons got nerfed, even the fairly-new Glacier. The trebuchet or avalanche got a buff, but they are still useless. It's more like the Nucleon is the most powerful heavy weapon, not so much that the viper is weak.

@@bluesteelgaming2883 yeah, the drone would be a good add. Ultimately that one Nucleon allows you to not suffer an empty magazine like two vipers would give.
the nucleon is more powerful up close but compared to the viper that has a corrosive effect, the nucleon has more advantage in firepower, the only thing that limits it is the overheating that stops it
I have only tried it in scaramuza mode and if it is a lot of damage that the nucleon does, the bad thing that I do not have that weapon to see how the combination of nucleon and atomizer works in fenrir. My ID is HWSK01 / Android platform
Viper's corrosion damage should be buffed a lot to show more impact on resistance bots and titans.... Then Ppl will consider it aygir... What do u say... ???

Although A Lot of Player(including me) would go for the nucleon it has one weakness for one when dealing with robots with heavy resistance(unless you have overdrive). It takes time for you to take them out however the Viper has corrosion and That goes through resistance allowing you take them out relatively quickly(even faster with over drive). Nucleon has unlimited ammo,good in range,does more damage in long range AND short range compared to Viper.... The only thing that Viper has that Nucleon doesn't is that it's corrosion can bypass resistance I think they should give Viper 600m range and increase the accuracy,what do you think AYGIR? I already have two mid level Vipers, so id likely stick with. But if I won a Nucleon, then I might try one of each on my Ao Jun. best of both worlds. Not completely defenseless while Viper is reloading, but still can keep the DOT effect. YRHHD0 / iOS 🤖

Although corrosion is still very effective as Pixonic has thankfully made these weapons remain relevant, especially on the wasp after the buff, this video really puts into perspective how players are slowly inching towards bots and weapons that provide the most brute strength. It’s just a personal thought, but I think the viper deserves a buff, for what a great weapon it once was and still can be.

Perfect timing i came across to this because i was planning to build atleast for now a Nucleon and put it on my Fenrir and replace its Candy Viper because it's really struggling to dish out the damage especially to TITANS. Hello there, please don’t take me wrong, but this video is inaccurate. I have both guns and even if Nucleon is a bit better on the field, the extremely difference we can see here is misleading. The regular encounter will be at 300+ range against lvl 10+ robots in movement, never in the open, static. Viper accuracy against faster boots cab be seen over 300+ range as consistent for 12-13 sec compared to 7 sec Nucleon before the burst got out of aim, Viper will be on target 1/3 more. Under 300 m Nucleon is a must, mostly because the unlimited ammo feature. 3HF1JL IOS

Well, looks like I need a third Nucleon for a new Falcon build. It’s still one of my favorite bots (ran 5 of em in high CL months ago). I did like the recent speed up to unload. Would be interesting to see a hybrid setup of one Nucleon and Viper.
I use this. Still mk1 and it rips up the field. Helps I also use a drone with corrosion modifier.
