Texas does have counties that have different property taxes. Which go to fund schools, roads, etc. That is the real factor to try to plan around for business in texas. If you are patient and can search for the right place in the right time you can maximize your value. No business income tax but there is a Franchise tax if you start certain businesses although if i recall you can avoid it entirely if you make less than a certain revenue. 2.4 million i believe. Getting started in Texas is easier than other states and can be done cheaper in my experience
