I found out the maker of the Twilight Mod had a lot more Ruina mods (I have a hunch that they like Library of Ruina) so have another quick showcase and a wall of text explaining them...is what I would say if RUclips could handle the ungodly amount of words in my explanation. Imagine using the w-serum and it teleports you to the dungeon without killing Skeletron yet.
it says ones you've travelled to pop up so skeletron death won't happen also why would you have it pre skeletron

I feel like with the speed of teleporting between biomes, the dungeon guardian wouldn't be able to kill you in time.
The Black Silence mod is really fun to fight bosses with (assuming that they have enough HP to survive a long time), I would definitely recommend trying that one out.

For anyone interested, the mods are all available on the mod browser (not the 1.4 version) by Volknet_Online.
Each weapon is found in a different mod, each one named after the weapon in question (Solemn Lament, Gold Rush, Da Capo, Furioso, Serum W, Twilight). Most are unobtainable outside of cheats, but a few have "legitimate" ways of obtaining them (see the Pastebin in the description).
EDIT: Okay there's actually another mod I missed which adds Regret (E.G.O. of the Forsaken Murderer and instant Stagger button in LoR), but I can't be bothered to make another recording of it lol

While a little different, the alchemist npc mod has some ego weapons and even an npc referencing lobotomy corporation but the damage from these weapons is way greater
Last time I played the Alchemist NPC mod most of its weapons were particularly low quality (and they had a known sexual predator from the lobcorp english community on the dev team, which is a yikes from me). Dunno if either or both of those issues have been fixed since I last checked about two years back, though.
@@irisobserving Alright, I gotta hear about that community member. How were they found out? Is this one of those outwardly degenerate people or were they caught via their degenerate behavior? And why does every damn fan community, no matter how niche, have at least 1 little deviant hiding within them? The internet is fucking wild.

@@mycocodog47 Oh there's a lot more than one degenerate within the LC english community sadly. The main wiki's english discord had to deal with so many weirdos that several veterans in the community referred to a particular lineup of them as "the Four S's of the Apocalypse" because all their names started with S for some reason.
As for the person in question, they were ousted from said discord after attempting to solicit er0tic roleplay from minors, among other things, and subsequently being reported. They didn't leave the fandom though; months later I joined a small LC community discord that had just sprung up, only to find they had joined as well. I subsequently ran them out of that community, but sadly I have no idea if that was enough to put them off for good, or if they're still out there somewhere. For all I know they could still be helping with AlchemistNPC, but who knows.
@@irisobserving Thanks for filling me in, and that sucks. Glad to hear you outted this guy immediately in the new server he joined, that likely helped a lot of people out. I stayed away from the LC and LoR English communities because I figured people like that would latch on with their talons, and unfortunately as I come to find out, I was right that they would appear. Nowhere is safe on the internet unless these people are outted for who they are and removed by force.

Heads up, The Twilight mod causes (almost) all entities to despawn when they get on screen.

Here's an idea I have for one of these. It's based on the Knight of Despair's weapon:
The main attack acts like a spear, and is incredibly fast. Hitting enemies reduces their defense for a short time.
For the right click attack, you hold and begin charging. During the charge movement speed is greatly reduced, projectile damage is halved, and contact damage is doubled. After three seconds, you can throw it, dealing damage equal to a percentage of the targets HP. However, if you hold it for more than 10 seconds or if you fail to deal any damage with it, it will hurt you dealing damage equal to 25% of your max HP. Triggering this effect three times while a boss is alive instantly kills you.

bit of context in lobotomy corporation, you the manager wear glasses that censor stuff out because some abnormalities cause damage on the mind, looking at you [censored]. it also dulls you to the constant pain and sacrifice of your employees through cartoon like death scenes, unfortunately your assistant dont get these glasses

Even if you don't intend to play Library of Ruina give its soundtrack a try, it's one of the best I heard in recent years
I love how completely absurd Ruina's arsenal is when people apply it to any other game, I recall seeing someone ask for Roland mod for DMC5, at first I thought "That's just Vergil, isn't it." Then I thought about it and even if Vergil in his universe is definitely powerful, Black Silence would absolutely demolish him and everything/everyone else in said universe.
nah vergil would absolutely obliterate roland even though some aspects of ruina are definitely insane in other universes

Are the translations from korean as scuffed and nonsensical as the ones in Lobotomy corp?
@@tarael86 Nope. Ruina has a much better translation than Lobotomy Corp's old translation. On another note, Lobotomy Corp was retranslated, very likely after whenever you finished the game based on your description of it being "scuffed" and "nonsensical." It's no longer that way post-retranslation.

This must be "The Stars Above" mod with the weapon itself named "Manifestation". This mod also has some other famous weapons such as Yamato, Murasama and Black Silence's gloves.
Gotta say movement 3 audio needs to be replaced

it's on purpose, on all of them
it imitates how those attacks come out in original game. not all of them have animations, very few in fact. most of then are singular sprites with all parts of the attack at once, with is best seen with black glove weapons

It does, it basically kidnaps their head segment for the animation, and then returns it to their body once it finishes lol

Just look up the names of the weapons on the mod browser and they should show up.
They are 1.3 only as far as i can remember.
Wish someone ported these to 1.4 tmodloader so the modded terraria can have a bit more chaos

I was so hyped to just grab those for my own playthrough but sadly I’m on 1.4 and I was SOOOO disappointed man… I REALLY want those mods but I can’t just drop the up to date stuff for them… feels bad man

Black glove only appeared in LoR
De Capo's ability is only seen from the Silent orchestra itself ,the weapon having nothing

Golden rush's ability is only used by one enemy (to keep this spoiler free)
Serum W works the same but it's very underwhelming .
So while yes most of the weapons appeared in LC i wouldn't call this a LC mod given LoR is much closer to what's shown than its predecesor

These don't really seem well balanced, unless they're just cheated in gimmick weapons-which would be pretty disappointing since a LoR mod for terraria would be perfect.
