@3:11 Is this just a video error or is West Tennessee actually in Eastern Tennessee and East Tennessee in Western Tennessee because that would be really confusing if that were the case.

The Battle of Fort Sanders in Knoxville Tennessee does not make a lot of history books, but Lee's right-hand man,
General Longstreet (detached and on independent command) lost 800+ men in only 20 minutes there.
As Longstreet approached Knoxville,
he sent Wheeler's cavalry down through Maryville to attempt an attack from the south. At Fort Dickerson, he was
"...repulsed, by fire from the heights.."
(2 of the 16 forts can still experienced)
His attempt from the North of the city had been thwarted, when the federals detonated some munitions they had stored at the railroad Depot.
So, rather than march ALL the way around to the east, he decided to attempt an attack from the west.
Ironically, General Ambrose Burnside, who had twice lost against Longstreet, was his opponent.
There are still lots of civil war sites in the
city and surrounding region.

Tennessee does have one of the best flags out of the U.S. states/territories/D.C.
When you were talking about which states border Tennessee, I wish you would have highlighted it for clarity, like say using that yellow coloring but also highlighting TN with its state flag, just suggestions okay?

Fun fact about the flag, the blue and white line acutely doesn’t symbolize anything. Originally it was just the three stars in the circle and a plain red background, because of this people would flip the flag upside down. So the state put the lines there saying that they should always be away from the pole. I just thought that was interesting.

Ah, that is interesting! I think that's the first time I've heard of a flag having a design which purposely tells one which way it goes.
Although, today that would be such a big deal since most flags are made to a standard, which includes the part that attaches to the pole.
Don't know if you can correct it easily, but East and West Tennessee are labeled incorrectly at about 3:10 in the video. I'm considering a move to East TN, and thought for a moment I had been searching the wrong area! 🙂
Hey another great summary, really like how you can describe everything only using a map. Only the section of the longest rivers is a little irritating imo, I'd rather see the whole location of the rivers instead of a close up but nevertheless your videos are high quality as they are already!

@@veronjeri2525 November 24th Shooting on I-24 freeway, 2 killed, 2 injured, December 25th, Christmas Day, RV with bomb in it explodes downtown taking out an AT&T center, taking out the internet 911 services, hospitals connections, even messed with Air traffic control tower guiding planes in the area, few miles away 2 days after The Nashville Bombing, December 27th a suspicious looking truck playing a warning that it will blow up in Lebanon tennessee, 25 miles away from Nashville Tennessee. The fact that people didn't think much of the gunshots downtown in Nashville before the bombing occurred because shooting regularly happen to those people living there. Not even the city I live in, which is big and very populated has those types of issues and crimes, Not to mention all the Tornadoes that pass through Tennessee, Intense snow storms that have time to time Caused outages, and is being Hit Badly with Covid-19 is a sign that im willing to stay here and not head that way to Tennessee.
