If you use the same method she does you may find there is a 'scar' in your work, for this reason I prefer to skip that and work in a continuous round, using a stich marker to note the end of the round) 1: magic ring with 5 sc (5) 2: inc in each stitch (10) 3: (sc, inc) *5 (15) 4: fasten off Petal: 1: change colour, chain 5 2: in the stich closest to the hook, place hook in the back of this stich and pull the yarn through. Do not finish the stitch. Repeat in all 5 stiches, you should have 6 loops in the hook. 3: in the same stitch on the red circle, pull the yarn through. There should be 7 loops on the hook 4: pull yarn through two loops at a time until there is only one loop left on the hook. Chain 1 5: in the next stitch, pull yarn through but do not finish stitch. Repeat for all stitches, there should be 7 loops on the hook 6: in the same stitch in the circle, pull the yarn through. There should be 8 loops on the hook 7: pull yarn through two loops at a time until there is only one loop left on the hook 8: repeat the steps of pulling yarn through each stich, yarn through next stitch, and pulling two off at a time except this time pull throyugh the next stitch in the red circle, 3 more times. 9: skip one stitch, pull yarn through each stitch and in the next stich. Pull two loops off at a time 10: sc in each stitch on petal, slip stitch in same stitch on circle 11: slip stitch in next stitch. Repeat steps 1-10 until a flower has formed. 12: create another flower 13: match the two flowers up and whip stich the two together leaving an opening for stuffing. Stuff with your stuffing of choice and close the opening in the same way. If you want to add a loop at the top: 1: insert hook at a petal, chain 10. 2: go back into the same stitch and slip stitch to secure. 3: cut the yarn and sew the excess in disclaimer: I haven't made this yet, I wrote this based off of what I saw, and this is my first time writing a pattern

use a hook about 2sizes smaller than you would normally use for the size yarn you choose eg: usually use 5mm hook for 8ply yarn so a 3mm hook ( or 2mm if the stitches are not tight enough to prevent the stuffing to show through ,,, use this method on all amigurami and youll be right ☺️
