@rachelj2537 hi!! I have a question for the yellow center: You say round 1 is 5 sc stitches. Then you increase in every one of those 5 sc, which means 2 sc stitches x 5 = 10 st But in round 3 you say to sc + increase in each of those 10 st, and say it will give us 15 stitches. But my math says: 1 sc + 1 increase (=2 stitches) = 3 x 10 stitches from round 2 = 30 stitches, not 15 Am I wrong? I’m a beginner in crochet and I’d really appreciate if someone could correct or confirm this. Thank you
@@treessinging For every two stiches from round 2, we will get 3 total stiches [1sc(1stich) + inc(2stiches)] for round 3. As there are total 5 sets of two stiches from round two, you can multiply 3 × 5 = 15 stiches.
Hi i love your tutorials! Thehyre so easy to follow! Just a question, how many grams of yarn do you think you've used for one flower crochet? Im planning to buy cotton yarn to make this😅 thank youuu❤❤
When you said "repeat 3 more times", i repeat it without watching your next step. But then, "insert to the 2nd space of the flower heart" (8:54) 😭 I regret those 3 lines
You don't say anything about turning your work after the 5th ch or 7th ch before you start the next row but I saw you do it on two seperate times. My question then is do I turn the work in order to put in for my 7th stitch for some reason or do I just keep doing what I've been doing? Thanks.
I have been trying for so long and can't get it event though I've done more complex patterns before! When you are on the first pedal and you said now repeat 3 times, I watched your video and didn't see you chain 1 before doing the row. So do we chain 1 before doing each pedal row or only certain rows? Beautiful pattern though!
I just did this pattern yesterday and the chain 1 is only on that first round, you do not do anymore chain 1’s after that. You’ll do the decrease at the very end of the petal to match the increase of the chain 1 if that makes sense. I know your comment is a year old though 🥴
Hi! I love this pattern so much. I’m crocheting the keychain right now and I have a little problem with sewing. Could you tell me what method of sewing did you use in this tutorial?
So happy you like this pattern. If you mean how to sew two flowers together after crocheting , I am not good at sewing, so just sewed them together as demonstrated in the video. I did not intend to use any method because I do not know any. 😆
Yes, magic ring is also ok. With a double ring, the circle will be super tight, so we can cut off the tail without worrying that the yarn might loosen. A magic ring is easier but not that tight.

other tutorials show that you need to slip stitch twice: 1) sl st as your pattern go then 2) sl st into the first stitch of the first petal. ch1 and cut off the yarn
1. you pull the free end until the middle circle is half small; 2. you pull the middle circle until both ends of the 5 sc meet; 3. you pull the free end to finish (1:43)
I have a question for the yellow center: You say round 1 is 5 sc stitches. After chaining one to start round 3, do 1 single crochet in first (of the 10 stitches from round 2) stitch, then do 2 single crochets in next stitch, then 1 single crochet in next stitch - repeat till the end (you are alternating between 1 and 2 sc in each of the stitches from round 2 to do an increase for the circle to lay flat). You will end up with 15 stitches total. Hope this helps?

On the first 5 bumbs from the chain 5 it looks like you yarn over and pull through 3 and not 2

prolly just a mistake

Don't make slip stitch

Heyy i get the confusion i am also confused and i crochet for 3+ years but you can do
(1sc, 1inc) x 5 and u will have 15 stitches
Hope this helps💕
how much grams does it use?
I don't understand how I'm not able to tighten up the center circle without that loop sticking out. I'm following it exactly or so I think 😖
Hi!
Were you able to figure it out?
I'm stuck there too
5枚目と1枚目の花の間が空いてしまうのですが、それはどのようにしてつめればいいですか??
Can i make this using 5 ply milk cotton? And what size of hook I'm going to use? Thank u

Hey can you specify what yarn you used?
I can’t do it😢😢
Yes you can, we can do this 🎉
Me too
Don't give up😅
Interesting
😉
How many grams did you use in one flower?
Less than 10 gram I remember 😂
what did you do between 4:48 - 4:46 cause i still have a chain how do you fix that
If you mean after finishing the yellow heart, you just cut off the yarn and pull the yarn out with your hook.
I can't understand the round 3 for the yellow yarn please help
In round 3, in every 2 spaces, we do 1sc then 1 sc increase, and we repeat 5times to have 15sc in the end.
👌👌👌
Is end yarn for yellow yarn cut short? Before continuing to green yarn?
Yess you can see it at 4:46
How did you added this pearl chain??
Is 4:34 a single crochet stitch 3 times in one stitch? Or 2 times in one stitch?
Oh wait does it mean sc in one stitch and 2 stitches in the next?
What is the exactly material called .
May I have the permission to sell my handmade keychain inspired by this tutorial?🙏
Yes, you can 😉💐
Wonderful!!
Hi! I have a question in r3, r4 and r5 of the petal. Did you do a chain between each row???
They only do a chain once or in r2
how long does it take to make?
Depends on how fast you can work, roughly 1 or 2hours.
Can someone explain the round 3 on the yellow yarn?
After chaining one to start round 3, do 1 single crochet in first (of the 10 stitches from round 2) stitch, then do 2 single crochets in next stitch, then 1 single crochet in next stitch - repeat till the end (you are alternating between 1 and 2 sc in each of the stitches from round 2 to do an increase for the circle to lay flat). You will end up with 15 stitches total. Hope this helps?
