Started out on a fun group ride, with a couple new people, met another ebiker who joined us on the ride. I own a 4 month old Super 73 RX and I agree with you, It is a pretty face but can't handle it. They also should stop showing Parker doing wheelies because his is modified to do what he does. Super 73 sells a lifestyle and the bikes are a small part of it, they are a lifestyle not a bike company. A Grizzle or Huck is in my future and use the RX for friends.
Those Super 73 frames are made out of graham crackers.

I got some bad juju from the Grinch after that very first fall. You can't be rubbernecking on a public road at those speeds. If you can't ride a PEV with responsibility and discipline then you shouldn't be riding one. Glad you weren’t severely hurt. ✌🏼

I wasn't an accident, you got rammed from behind by a guy with questionable dress sense and a pride bag. A similar thing happened outside a gay black nightclub a couple of weeks ago. One of the patreons of the club rammed four people from behind.
I'll be sure to check who I roll with in future as i don't like being rammed from behind.

My best riding buddy who got me into ebikes is 56 and rocked a 24v 250w 20ah for the longest time with a extreme lithium old ebike frame he loved. It was stolen and I gave him an old nakto ranger 36v 350 watt and he just flys on it. He pedals hard but bangs the throttle hard. Riding with old timers is the best. He will hit trails hard to but he's so content with these low voltage mountain bikes I love when he hits me up to "cruise" as he says

Grinch shouldn’t be riding on anything more than a 250w hub motor if he’s going to drive like he’s blind. He’s going to hurt or kill someone or himself someday. I have a juiced scrambler with the upgraded battery. The fastest ive gotten it is 34 miles an hour. These things are definitely not toys.

Damn it Shreddie... Just glad no one's seriously hurt! Bikes can be repaired, replaced. But broken bones take a while and broken back/necks can be fatal! Not to mention road rash, etc... It gets way worse in group motorcycle rides. They're bigger, faster and do a lot more damage in crashes. I limit group rides to 2 or 3 and stress wide spacing. Only big rides I do anymore are parades and they're pretty slow, but still dangerous. sorry for sounding like a grandpa. Maybe cause I are one...?

That was a super gnarly crash. The landing didn’t seem so bad but I definitely spotted that whiplash when you got hit from behind. Damn, you recovered from that hit like a boss. I love that ending too, warning people to take these bikes/safety seriously. I’m glad you had protection on, bro... that could been a concussion or worse. Hope you’re feeling less sore bro 🤟

Just now watching, and haven’t witnessed the crash yet, but before I do I wanted to comment ahead of time because it seems the crash is gonna overshadow everything else about this video. Want to give a shout out to the older gentleman you met. I’m really really enjoying the conversation you are having with him and his very casually articulate way of sharing/educating about what he has learned and applied of his knowledge to the DIY process. I love that he is 70 years old and doing this.
While I am about to order my Huck for my first foray into the e-bike experience, after hearing him share, it has me excited about my future endeavors in the culture. I realize the potential that exists of a hobby here that could lead to me building my own custom e-bikes down the rode as I hone my skills and knowledge as I learn with the Huck and increase my understanding of the intricacies of the electrical system and it’s components. I feel I’m already pretty solid mechanically and have worked on motorcycles and all my autos in the past, one of my favorite pastimes. Who knows maybe there’s even future career opportunities someday. Wouldn’t that be a blast?!💥 💥 haha, ok, I’ll stop my fantasy rambling and brace for this unfortunate turn of events about to come. I definitely do not think that crash was bad enough to snap the bike like that. Wow . Glad no one was seriously hurt. I have crash my ebike way harder than that, and jumped it over 15-20 foot doubles ( see on my channel) not even full suspension and not even a crack. Looked like a fun ride, I like all the stunt riding that's my kind of riding.

@@SHREDDIEMCSKATE Yeah simple stuff like having a dedicated lead man and road runners to keep flow and block traffic when needed; keeping safe distance between riders; no drinking or substance abuse because you can't contest that factor in court; having a defensive rider mentality... to name a few. I've known esk8rs who don't even check their esk8s before riding. On ebikes, have a list of pre-riding tests to check before riding. Coming from a military background, all this sounds corny or worthless but it only takes a second to get fcked. It saves not only your life but also and even more so other people's lives. When cruising alone, shoots, they can wreck themselves for all I care. But when cruising with others, it's a different ball game. There's a certain etiquette that riders must maintain. I would have lost my shit, stupid mistake, i stopped group riding on motorbikes years ago for too many risk takers and varying degrees of confidence and skill levels its only going to happen more on fast ebikes especially due to no training in place to learn a lot of the essential skills for biking, always ride defensively and be aware what those around are doing, never get complacent with your skill levels as thats when it hits you or you hit them in this case, cannot believe that frame snapped like a twig but better the frame than someone's neck.
I’m kind of happy the frame broke like that I feel like it may have lessen the impact for me.... but I totally agree 100% with everything you said🤘🏾⚡️🤘🏾⚡️ For now on on group rides were having a long meeting at the beginning with safety rules
