@SlipperyTube reaction timing is what helps you follow through in any angle. it also helps you move your cursor back and forth when the enemy is moving fast or jumping around. without insane reaction time, you honestly will not be able to take out pros in just a random game with no obstacles in it. for example turning around quickly and killing them firs. however i understand that placing the cursor at key points is beneficial but even placing them at key areas isnt gonna do much, you still gotta have quick reaction times to click that fire trigger and the reaction time to ever so slightly move the cursor to the left or right to adjust onto the enemy's head or body at times BEFORE your other reaction time of clicking the fire button. simply having your cursor in the general area isnt always gonna help. if the enemy moves out of the area fast enough or jumps out of the area, you would need reaction time to react to that. or simply moving slightly out of the area to show just a bit of his body, then reaction time would be needed to move the cursor a bit more closer to the edge of the wall to be put on his barely showing body. sometimes the enemy just side steps one big step and if your cursor is right at the edge of the wall, then you would need reaction time to move it away from the edge of the wall back onto his body that has left the edge of the wall. so yes reaction time will always be that game decider in most cases. it only would take a pro a few hours to a few days to adjust to a new game enough to play just like a global player would or any cheap player would. then what is needed beyond that to get the edge? REACTION TIME. you cant improve reaction that that much. u can only improve it so much. studies have been proven stating that everything else can be improved drastically AND CONSISTENTLY except for overall reaction time. for example you can increase it by 20 percent not insane amounts. for example if you had to increase your reaction time by the default set amount that studies show can only be increased by, then after pro players increase their already higher reaction time due to good genetics, they would still be beyond those players who made increases to theirs. so can you take out good genetics after those good genetics have made all the necessary increases possible? no u cant. u can get lucky but u cant best them overall. and if somehow someone was able to, then they either just started that specific game and needs a few time to or at least the same amount of time the other player had. if they did get the time they needed, who would win? you would think they would be equal. nope. the pro would be on top always overall. reaction time is key to supremacy. ez debate. debate solved. information processing can be increased but reaction time is that one factor that can only be increased by so much until it just stops increasing. people with good genetics are able to be above the normal at the beginning and after making the max increases that are possible for them, they would still be on top. np hope that explained why things tend to happen the way they do.
    other comments i made:
health issues cause deterioration. thats just common sense. that usually comes with age. so if you take good care of yourself in the most important areas that affect gaming, then you should be fine. and even that is alot of factors that need to be preserved, so yes age deterioration is indefinitely a thing, it just doesnt happen to everybody to the same scale. will it eventually always? yes it does, sometimes its just not noticeable, but it will become noticeable at a specific time no doubt. that time is always going to be different. some may take their skill to their grace without suffering any noticeable deterioration. not always though. so to state that its a myth, nah. its not even an opinion. its a fact.

@Nadeking Thank you for a wonderful video, as I really appreciate this kind of content.
A couple of notes from a scientist for a future experiment:
    - While it is good that you show the best time, ideally you also need to get the average time, accuracy and points for the players. This will give a more reliable measure of their consistency (their first two attempts can be ignored for practice).
    - Since these are case studies, focusing on just three people, the results unfortunately do not tell us anything about the different levels. Granted, it would be difficult to recruit multiple pro-level players, but at the very least the selected participants needs to be compared to a baseline. What is the average performance for players on these maps? Even better: What is the average performance for each rank and how does the selected candidates compare to these ranks? Alternatively you can choose something like 10 randoms of various rank (below the selected participants) and have their combined averages form the baseline.
Generally, though, great video and hope you make more of them!

To me this is one of the most fascinating aspects about gaming. It allows you to experience just how much skill difference there is between humans.
For example, most people cannot understand how good a CEO actually is because they are never in a similar position. With games you can experience the insane difference in skill level.
Maybe if people could understand the insane skill level that CEO's can have, they would complain less about the insane income they earn. Because it's worth every penny.
