The Wii version had the best atmosphere in my opinion and also had more levels on the disc as well as a multiplayer mode. There are reasons why the Wii version was chosen for the definitive port. Graphics are the least important things in a game.
Originally I thought the switch version was the first to come out with a multiplayer mode.😅 Was the Wii version the same setup of 1v1 on different maps and you could choose between about 15 people?
@@tbu_drachenkater5397 Ew. Worst kind of gamer. Just go stare at a tech demo then or better yet, go outside, if you want good graphics, nothing beats that.
It’s not a bad port or anything. But I was expecting the 360/ps3 version. And when I saw the opening cinematic, I was like “oh..” To be fair it’s my fault for not researching which version this was. I’m still gonna play it tho lol.
@Trevor6714 I'm with I thought it was going to be a poet of those as well. Was definitely sunrises iit wasn't. Definitely still fun, the joy con force powers are fun for a bit as well😅
Both versions are cool and Xbox definitely has better graphics but wii and switch definitely take the cake on actually get to use the lightsaber as if it was in real life with the wii remote/joy-con! Overall I love this game and I need to bring starkiller back into Canon since they brought the inquisitors!
Glad you enjoyed it. I liked the joy con's being implemented (personally I think they could have done a little better) it was fun to try for a bit but in the end I still play traditionally. Having the option for both is fun though.
I love the Wii version the most . The Jedi temple and cloud city missions make it so good . When I played the Xbox 360 version it felt wrong then I played the switch port 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻perfection
The only reason I possibly couldn't get into the Wii version isn't even the graphics but that it doesn't seem to use Euphoria which is why I love playing it on PC/360 or PS3
The Wii/ps2 Version is far superior: More levels, the fighting system is way more fun, more lightsabers/costumes, and even though the graphics are inferior to the Ps3/Xbox, Krome Studios compensated that by making the map bigger, with more interesting artefacts and the atmosphere is just unbeatable. Also the force powers are more fluid and look way better. Best single Player star wars game for me❤
A lot of peeps saying the older versions are better. I do enjoy both of them. I wonder if it was from a hardware stand point or creative decision between them. Obviously the graphics yes, but with the lvl size and or items to collect get taken out. There was a game a long (long:) time ago that the older version had so many unlocks and things to collect and the "upgraded next gen" had non of it. It really sucked. Wish I could remember the name.
I mean at first I was opposed to getting the switch version due to the difference in graphics (I grew up with the 360 version) but after playing Jedi Academy, it's not that different so I'm kinda thinking about getting the switch port. (Or I could just find a 360 copy and get both).
I've enjoyed it. Yeah the graphics down grade does suck but the game does run pretty smooth and playing handheld is nice. If your on the fence, I would just wait until it goes on sale to be honest.
I just wanted to show the beginning to both figured that would be best because that's what everyone plays first. Which level/part would you think would be the best to compare them?
@@red3994 I'll have to try it if I ever get a chance, cause it does play nice and smooth on the Switch. It lacks extra content for sure so maybe the graphics might be the only upgrade?
The Switch version actually runs well. May not look as nice or play as smooth as on Steam Deck but I've had solid frames while playing. Bet it looks great on Steam Deck tho🙂
Your actually high if you think the switch wouldn't be able to run both of those. Lol the wii version is just better it has more content. The switch is decent hardware for half the price of a steam deck. Lol
@@thefoxhound Been a long time since ive played, but from what i remember, PS2/Wii versions had more levels, more bosses, more abilities. It was more of a complete package.
obviously the Xbox version is better, it's like comparing an old generation game to a new one, people who prefer the nintendo one is just for simple nostalgia and being a best-selling console but xbox has a better story and better effects than the one from wii, only that for the company it was easier to take the wii version and put 1080 on it than to do the same with the xbox version since it required more work, a shame for its cost and the little new it brings to the switch
I haven't played the Wii version, but apparently it compensates the worse graphics with more content as in levels and their size. Also, if I'm correct all the versions have the same story.
@@Protosilver97 yeah I believe they all have the same story just due to some having more content certain version might have more to the story. Isn't it strange how that happens sometimes, with the worse graphics or what ever it may be ending up having more content then other version. 😅
It's unfortunate that the XBox actually has detail, but the Wii has better level design and general gameplay. The abilities actually fukn matter lol. The Xbox version is so... Wide.
@@thefoxhound nope. The Wii version has an exclusive training mode and versus mode, which is essentially a fighting game built in to Force Unleashed. The PSP has an Order 66 mode, where you survive waves of troopers, a historical missions mode, where you can relive famous duels from the movies, and a versus mode, which no, is not the same as the versus mode on the Wii, because why would it be? It also has worse graphics, but it’s not too noticeable, and of course no motion controls.
@@ArkOnRUclips the more I learn of all the different versions just makes me want a definitive on current gens so bad! I'm curious how the 2 vs modes fair up to one another. It's not amazing on the Switch but it's fun for a few rounds here and there. The extra psp modes sound really fun.
