Amazing review, thanks Kevin! I'm just about to buy the two lens set and this reassured me of my choice. It was great to see them being used on actual productions rather than on plants in a garden like many 'reviews'.
Great video mate. I always appreciate your knowledge and talent since I saw you work with Valentina Vee. And keep the faith; I am really encouraged to see believers doing great stuff and not ashamed of their faith. You are an inspiration. Keep it up!
Lovin the NT reference - unexpected! But very welcome. Great review too, your assessment of these is encouraging me in the same direction, as has been your videos on the Leica R's. Keep it up!
The new RS3 Pro with it's extended arm can balance a komodo/pocket 6k + 14-30. It's like pushing the gimbal to 90% capacity, but it's very much doable. I literally upgraded to the RS3 Pro for this reason ahahahaa.
Thanks for pointing the color shift out I was about to buy the set but that for me is a big deal especially for cinema cameras. I don’t get to color correct myself all the time and providing footage like that isn’t professional
Hey Kevin ... just wanted to ask you for the chromatic aberration .. do you see it more zoomed in or zoomed out ? or both? and if its on bothh zoomed in and zoomed out, do you correct it or leave it as arty style? cause this is what confused me if the footage really will look good by the CA or should I just stick with native lenses of camera makes for body?
You said you bought the 2 lens kit and after that the 14-30 on it's own. As you never shown all of them packed - how does the 14-30 come? In a smaller case? No case all? How do you carry them? Thanks for clarifying!
Great question, DZO sent me a pre production copy which came w more of a glorified shipping box. Nice packaging but not a production hard case. Rn I’m transporting the 14-30 on a lens pouch until I can get the 3 lens case in.
Great content and good looking out with the warmer hue on the 14-30 mm. Did you ever use the tokina 11-20 with the pictors? wondering how the mix toghetger, especially in regard to color shift...

Great video Kev! I’ve been using the 20-55 on some of my car shoots recently and it’s a great range. Thanks for sharing.

I came here for a lens review….. but you’re work is so dope 🔥🔥 I almost forgot I was watching a lens review video with all the fire broll
Love this! Thanks so much for the kind words and thanks for watching 🙏🏽
your cinematography is so good, I love the 14-30mm lens shots so much
My guy. Love your work. If you’re in La and ever need an extra hand, I’d love to learn from your set!
Defo my favorite glass. Great review! Hopefully I can get my own Pictor zoom kit! Love your work as well!! 🔥
hey there, specifically at 6:09 was the 20-55 being used with a speedbooster? it looks wider than the "true 30mm" that I would expect?
Awesome review man!
Excellent video

how is the image wormth using DZOFilm Pictor 12-25mm??
Nice Review Kevin. Just curious what camera did you use for these shots?
Mostly RED Komodo and Arri Alexa
Looks amazing Kevin! Grading is just stunning. Curious about what kind of diffusion filter you are using with the 14-30 here?
do you see chromatic aberration on skin as well?
