Warfield is basically Duke 2.0, because Blizzard wanted Duke, but later realized that they killed him in BW

What's hilarious is that of all the campaign-only units, players have found out that Spectres are by far the most overpowered with no comparison. Why and how? Because of Ultrasonic Pulse stunlock allowing a Terran to insta-win by rushing out a small marine squad and a few Spectres because for some reason Ultrasonic Pulse also stuns static defense. People who mod in all the campaign units and play with friends tend to have one person who knows this and shows why campaign units aren't in Versus mode.
Kind of funny how they're niche in the campaign but are so broken outside of it.
@@joshuakim5240 Also because of that. Why would you give an unit in SC2 AoE stun? The sole reason why no unit in SC2 is allowed to have AoE stun is because it is too op. Also they have mind blast. It means two of these spectre can wipe a whole mineral line with without warning. These thing are practically invisible disruptors.
I only played Nova mission out of curiosity, but Ghosts with upgrades are good for snipe spam, useful for final mission. Spectres are novelty though, have a cool group mini psi storm attack and if they channel that blast, it's actually a ton of dps. I did a full upgrade Spectre spam campaign, it was really cool.

2:28 I really wish they had done an update on the Wings of Liberty campaign and given the Taldarim the new black, red, spikey theme to their buildings and units. The Taldarim weren't really fleshed out in Wings of Liberty, heheh.
And gave Raynor Hercs, Warhounds and some actually invisible enemies to fight.
Are there any Wings of Liberty mods? I could not find any online.
which is a shame, because they already had plenty of fucking awesome lore to work with, and they just threw it all out to create something Taldarim in name only.
There is a mod for it now that also gives them the taldarim units
The thing is, the Taldarim we see in Wings of Liberty is an outside cult under the same name of the actual Tal'darim. They aren't really connected. Not much of lore or anything else regarding these taldarim.
That's ignoring the fact that the events leading up to them getting that aesthetic happen during WoL and HoS, so it wouldn't make any sense for them to have their hybrid infused art style before Amon becomes a serious part of the storyline. They start out as a fanatic sect of the Protoss and evolve into something much darker and more powerful throughout the campaigns, they aren't anything more than just funky shield boys in WoL.
He just used a dawn of war voice line in SC2.
