For the d&t question: thinking of playing it because Arbiter is good against Titan is a straight up trap. They just play the 6/6 and pay to search the next turn. It's not a good matchup. It gets dunked on by other fair decks too.
I have never lost to d&t or eldrazi&t with Titan. That's like 5/5 matches across 3 opponents and twice in the quarter of an open. With the current iteration (incl. Valakut) I only played 1 match and it was not even close.
Great games as always. Can't say I agree with Corey's assessment that other decks can fight Titan - the deck is just the best not close.
As a titan player I got to say that there are cards that can help in the match up like damping sphere and ashiok. But the big thing is amulet titan loses to itself of being super slow with no amulet.

Zkeley I found that the "lose to itself has happened less and less as sets got released. Dryad gives the deck such a high density of enablers and then there's OuaT ofc
The meta isn’t adapting yet plain and simple. Moderns card pool is big enough. While I do think veil and once upon a time need to go.
Idk if it’s people netdeck or what but mtg players need to think outside the box or just go back to what worked before. Mountains are always good. Blood moon is a card(I splash it in BG rock). Storm and Whurza thopter sword can beat up these decks etc..Let things settle first. Remember when people said Deathshadow needed to go?
In game 1:
Float red, get bounce+battlements. Bounce battlements, play for turn. Swing with 2 hasty trampleroonies
He has to spent 6 on titan and he doesn't have an untapped red land in the deck.
This is why i play gem stone mine. lol
Aaron battered Amulet Titan quite a few times on event streams with Golgari Yawgmoth
His deck was pretty solid, but I think it's more unfamiliarity with the matchup that caused amulet to struggle so much.
The time it took to setup was also against Titan. Lost Legacy in the sideboard also did Dilks no favors in his games vs Aaron.

Ross's turn at ~11 mins in? how did he use 3 mana to play EE on 1, crack it (which cost 2) and play a scout? thats 4 mana total...did i miss something?
you're right. luckily he had an untapped verdant the entire time so he had the mana for it.

Ross @48:01 the thing is you drew a land without having casted summoners pact, maybe casting pact in response to ashiok was the "correct" play but who is to say you drew a land? Lethal was still presented and if you didn't draw a land after shuffling it would still be the same outcome. There are many times when the "correct" play still does not lead to victory, intuition and faith in your deck are just as powerful factors in a game of variance.

I want Tarmogoyf in pioneer... Sultai delirium with Uro and Tarmogoyf could just be the best thing ever in pioneer

Imo this is a bad jund shadow build. I would have liked to see a more competitive build vs this one which seems more “fun”/casual

@@prognostication321 its an opinion in response to comments on how they try to suggest that modern is back after the oko ban.its definitely not. Its still the worst format by a long long way.

Agree. Imo modern hasn’t been fun since pod and twin days. With that being said I think couple bans(veil, once) and unbanning of twin and pod can do good for the format believe it or not. I’ve always been of mindset of when “Jund” is a good deck in format modern is good. All I mean by that is actually interaction is good for formats not linear all in combo decks
