- The government's so-called combatting misinformation bill marks the beginning of the end for free speech and democracy in Australia.
Make no mistake, this bill is another alarming example of overreach and a step towards government tyranny over what we can and cannot discuss.
Do you realise what’s at risk? Free speech is the bedrock of democracy, and, as Benjamin Franklin said, there is no such thing as public liberty without freedom of speech.

Just read that 12/49 Councils in NSW have no representation in the election tomorrow and so, in places like Cobar, no voting..
People get involved in politics to try and make 'a difference' and when they see the game is rigged no matter what they do, nobody wants to get involved in it.

Why is the parliament empty? Why aren’t parliamentarians there listening to his speech? He is talking on behalf of the public that voted for a voice in the government and we aren’t being heard.
